VILNIUS, Lithuania — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky tore into NATO leaders including President Biden on Tuesday for not extending membership to his war-torn country — introducing fresh diplomatic drama into the annual gathering of the military alliance’s leaders. Zelensky slammed the reticence as “weakness” and “absurd” just moments after Biden referred to the development of new non-public language laying out steps for NATO ascension.

Biden (Obama) and his crew know that he would be wiped out in the 2024 general election if Ukraine is admitted to NATO and something occurs in Ukraine that causes Article Five of the NATO treaty to be invoked with Biden then sending US Forces to enter Ukraine and go into combat against the Russian forces there. Who cares about what Zelensky says regarding future NATO membership for Ukraine?

the only thing missing from this mess in Ukraine, which Comrade Putin started, to show the power of the Communist State to the rest of the world, is the boots on the ground of the U.S. and other military involved in the worst conglomeration of nations (NATO/OTAN) ever assembled. NATO/OTAN can't find, or fight, its way out of a paper bag which is exactly why they want the US troops in or near Ukraine, because with US troops comes money, money and more money plus some the most sophisticated and valuable weaponry on the planet, today NATO/OTAN is a joke and the only person with enough gumption to say it was, was our President, Donald J. Trump who, by the way, has been absolutely correct in all his assessments and criticisms of this useless mix of mini-despotic realms and Lilliputional nation states resembling Grand Fenwick ever conceived by human beings all joebiden is doing is culminating and completing the purposes of the democrat communist party: 1. spend lots of money, that we don't have, on useless and non-sensical programs, ad infinitum 2. raise exorbitant rates of taxes on the people to impoverish and control them to make them pay for #1 3. start or become involved in useless wars, anywhere on the planet that will last for decades or centuries, as in the case of Orwell's 1984: "In 1984, there is a perpetual war between Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia, the superstates that emerged from the global atomic war." - if anyone can't see this coming, they've been listening to the Pravda stations or the Alphabet Channels

Just as a general comment, Ukraine is located no where near the "north Atlantic". Unless they moved the Black Sea! But then again, NATO --- and its taking in of new members --- has been a farce since the 1960's. NATO is now just another way to transfer US tax dollars to socialist European countries. It allows those members to save billions on defense .... so they can spend the money on socialism that doesn't work! Does anyone seriously believe that Sweden will now spend 2% of its budget on its military obligations to its fellow NATO members? Really? Zelensky wants the US to spare his regime so he can live long enough to spend the millions he now has tucked away in Zurich.

House passes defense bill in big win for

The House on Friday approved the annual defense policy bill in an unusually partisan vote after it was loaded up with conservative amendments, marking a big win for Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) but raising new questions about how the package — which is dead on arrival in the Senate — will eventually become law. The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed in a largely party-line 219-210 vote, with four Republicans opposing the measure and four Democrats supporting it — an atypical outcome for the annual legislation which routinely enjoys broad bipartisan support.

Why the long face, John Kerry? The former Secretary of State and current “Climate Czar” looked most unhappy yesterday as he appeared before a Congressional hearing. No wonder. Indeed he seems to have thought that the position given to him by the President not only entitled him to year-round perks, but to lifelong immunity from criticism. Kerry has been in his role since January 2021. Since that time his office has said that he reports simply and solely to the President. During his time in office he has jetted around the world to explain why other people shouldn’t use jets.

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan sent FBI Director Christopher Wray a letter suggesting the Bureau retaliated against two of Nunes’s staffers for the House Intel’s oversight of the FBI. Recall, Nunes, who served as the House Intel Committee’s chairman from January 2015 to January 2019, vigorously investigated Russiagate. Nunes investigated the FBI’s role in Russiagate/Spygate and released a memo revealing Hillary Clinton’s fake dossier formed an essential part in obtaining FISA warrants to spy on Trump.

In the Trump era -- and in the media, it's still the Trump era -- there is no need to strain a mental muscle to prove journalists have a liberal bias. We find it everywhere. But there are still leftists who channel the spirit of Eric's "What Liberal Media?" Alterman and claim reporters tilt inescapably to the right. Claiming a liberal bias is somehow silly nonsense.Michael Tomasky -- who not too long ago was a reporter for Newsweek -- is now editor of The New Republic, and he claimed there's an appalling double standard in the political press. Donald Trump doesn’t usually engender comparisons to FDR. But he’s in a strong position to win a major party’s presidential nomination for the third consecutive time, something that hasn’t been done since Roosevelt won the Democratic nod four times in a row from 1932 to 1944.There’s a big asterisk here, of course. In the post-22nd Amendment world, with a president limited to two terms, Trump only has a shot at a three-peat because he lost his reelection bid in 2020. If Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, who all won reelection, hadn’t been barred from running a third time, they all would probably have secured their party’s nomination again easily.

Ron DeSantis is trying to reassure donors and activists that his campaign only looks stalled. A confidential campaign memo obtained by NBC News lays out what the Florida governor’s presidential campaign sees as its path forward: focusing on the early states, refusing to give up on New Hampshire, not yet investing in Super Tuesday battlegrounds, zeroing in on DeSantis’ biography and sowing doubts about his competitors — particularly Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. “While Super Tuesday is critically important, we will not dedicate resources to Super Tuesday that slow our momentum in New Hampshire,” the memo states. “We expect to revisit this investment in the Fall.”
