Speaking to reporters Wednesday, President Biden falsely claimed that Russia is at war with Iraq. Russia is at war with Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin is “clearly losing the war in Iraq,” Biden told the press pool, “losing the war at home. And he has become a bit of a pariah around the world.” On Tuesday, during an unrelated fundraising event in Chevy Chase, Md., Biden made the exact same slip-up, mistaking Ukraine for Iraq. “If anybody told you … that we’d be able to bring all of Europe together in the onslaught on Iraq and get NATO to be completely united,” the president said,

IMHO, the problem is: ole Joe Bob has always lied about this and that, and has never been called on it. Now that he occupies the Oval Office, his gaffes (brain slips, caused by dementia and lack of character) carry more weight and have more importance than his previous embellishments. But what is most evident to me is how devoid of character the man is. And always has been.

"His brain, she's a broke. She's a no good." (Chris Plante on the Resident) Here we have an unbeatable argument against the Democrats' ever being trusted again in any political contest. They have installed the infamous Resident, someone almost comically unsuited to power, who has to be led about by handlers lest he wander off and get bit by some sneaky copperhead snake. In 2023 the entire Democrat party is unworthy of being called American anymore.

As to his mental state, everyone knows he is constantly misfiring and has no business as president. What is truly revealing is that he is allowed to continue.

There is the question of why he is allowed to continue in office. The answer is that Obama and his people are running the show. And as long as Biden can stand he will continue in power. And Obama will run the show.

There is no statute of limitations for fraud. Secondly, the IRS can estimate and send a letter for any taxes they compute as due for those years. They do it all the time. So I am not buying that past taxes cannot be collected from Hunter and Joe. I do not believe even a U.S. attorney can forgive past taxes with a plea deal. This needs to go to Congressional Oversight, and a flurry of subpoenas issued.

The First Amendment is under assault by the very people entrusted to protect it. The Biden administration and the corporate media removed any doubt about this after a July 4 ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Terry A. Doughty. Evidence revealed during the discovery process in Missouri v. Biden convinced the judge that administration officials illegally pressured social media platforms to censor disfavored views. Doughty issued a 155-page opinion and an injunction prohibiting federal officials from “pressuring or coercing social-media companies in any manner to remove, delete, suppress, or reduce posted content of postings containing protected free speech.”

Joe Biden is Inspector Jacques Clouseau. We don’t know whether to laugh (Clouseau) or cry (Biden). In fantasy, Clouseau bumbled his way to success. In reality, Biden is a failure; worse, a danger to himself and to others. He is America’s nightmare, more hazardous to the world than climate change. The dark comedy of Biden’s mental decay/physical decline is evidenced daily when his caretakers let him out, after dosing his secret, volatile medication. Sleep apnea, previously undisclosed, is the latest alibi for his dysfunction. His medical records are no more transparent than Hunter Biden’s tax returns, and the president’s doctor won’t come clean.

As expected, the Supreme Court ruled on Friday that President Biden doesn’t have the constitutional authority to “forgive” $430 billion in student loan debt. The decision, written by Chief Justice Roberts, drove the point home by quoting former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s 2021 statement regarding Biden’s power to do so without the consent of Congress: “People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not.” Yet, Biden defiantly insisted Friday afternoon that the Court’s decision was wrong and that he plans to keep pushing for his massive giveaway scheme under the aegis of the Higher Education Act (HEA).

A former business partner of Hunter and James Biden, who worked directly with them on a 2017 China energy deal, was never asked to testify to a Delaware grand jury investigating Hunter Biden, two sources familiar with the discussions tell CBS News. Tony Bobulinski, the former business partner, was open to testifying, and his attorney reached out to the office of Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss. Weiss did not return their calls, the sources said. Weiss' decision not to bring Bobulinski is the latest indication that prosecutors investigating Hunter Biden may have avoided investigating allegations about his father, President Joe Biden. In October 2020, Bobulinski was invited by the Trump campaign

It's been nearly three weeks since former President Donald Trump announced that he had been indicted in the classified documents investigation. On June 8, the day of the announcement on Trump's Truth Social network, the former president's lead over top challenger Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was 30.3 points in the RealClearPolitics average of national polls. Today, Trump's lead over DeSantis is 30.6 points. A federal indictment, on top of a local prosecutor's indictment in New York City, seems not to have affected Trump's national poll numbers at all. By the old standards of politics, it makes no sense. A lot of politicians talk about free speech. But then you wonder if they genuinely even understand the concept.
