I had really wanted to take a couple of grandnephews to see U-505 in the Chicago museum at some point, but things have gotten so bad in Chicago that I am unwilling to there unarmed myself, and certainly wouldn't take them where I couldn't protect them and the risk of violence is so high.

I simply don’t care anymore. The only people who can fix this are the blacks who live in those murderous neighborhoods. They won’t, of course, and the slaughter will continue and the left will continue to p$$$ money away and award grifting NGOs to live high. I used to care. Volunteered as coach for poor kids, mostly black. The blacks don’t seem to care anymore so why should I?

Colorado will become the first state to legally protect teen transgender treatment 'tourism' as part of a trio of bills signed by its Democratic governor. The new laws mean healthcare providers cannot be sued by red states where gender-affirming medication and surgery are illegal if their residents travel to Colorado for care. It makes Colorado a safe haven for children under-18 with gender dysphoria looking for puberty blockers, hormone therapies and sex change operations - which have been restricted in more than a dozen Republican states.

Now three of its most powerful utility companies are saying that they’re going to charge based not on how much of their product was used, but on how much money the user makes. In simpler times, if you bought something, you paid for it. Rich or poor, tall or short, black or white, female or male, wise or foolish, everyone paid the same amount for a product.

Twenty-first-century America was on a trajectory of gradual decline—until it began to implode. Was the accelerant the COVID-19 pandemic and unhinged lockdowns? Or was the catalyst the woke revolution fueled by the 2020 summer of exempted rioting, looting, arson, and violence? Or was it perhaps the deranged fixation on removing Donald Trump from the presidency and destroying the rule of law in the process? Or all that and more? Now with the election of Joe Biden, what had been a fast-tracked decline has accelerated at such an astonishing rate we can scarcely recognize our country.
