NFL Completely Annihilates NBA In Christmas

I said it years ago, and it still stands true: the NFL is a modern-day Rome with no end in sight. On Christmas Day, the most-viewed NFL game of the day was the contest between the Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers, pulling in 25.92 million viewers, according to NFL analyst Ari Meirov. In comparison to the NBA’s highest-viewed game, which was between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks, it was a blowout with basketball only pulling in a little over six million viewers.

Comments:

I’m sick and tired of getting LBJ shoved in my face all the time. He’s good but he’s not the GOAT the media wants him to be. Until someone better comes along that title belongs to MJ. The NBA sucks I used to be a big fan but they gave in to politics and two certain players and that is sad so sad.

Funny, I keep hearing that no one is watching, fans are fed up and deserting pro sports, that the venues are empty, and all that. Just wait until that Grimes girl gets back on the court...

I'd rather watch paint dry then watch NBA basketball. Watching the paint dry to it's true color is much more exciting.

I said adios to the nba a good 30 years or so ago, and it's only gotten worse along the way. It appears our politicians aren't the only ones addicted to chi-com cash. I really think people like lbj should just move to China.

Nobody around me watched either. I went to two family and one friend's house. Christmas flicks and music were on. In truth, nobody wanted to pay the extra it would have taken to buy the stream. Nobody cares. Had it been available it would probably have been on.

I'm not a big fan of the NBA at all and never really was. I do admire individual players - and Michael Jordan is and always will be the GOAT. I watched the Packers and the Dolphins and enjoyed it. But when it comes to pro sports my heart will always belong to baseball but only if I can be there in person. A good game and some ballpark food is my idea of heaven.

What has the NBA done to be drawing only 1.7% of the population to watch their thugball games? I fear for their financial viability. Maybe they need to adopt Brittney Griner as their mascot? Okay, her wife can come along too. That will surely entice the LGBTQXUYRDK people to buy tickets and maybe push attendance up another half percent. As for the NFL, I remember when the roads were empty on Sunday afternoons while the games were on. Now they can't even sell out the Super Bowl.

Back during this past Thanksgiving, the NFL was on at my in-law's house. No one was watching because no one cared. Now this past Christmas time off no one cared to watch the NFL let alone tune into the Chicom apologetic NBA. I remember when both leagues were king in my house as a kid back in the 70s and 80s. Partly because both leagues were run by men and not the weak woke dimwits they have now in Roger Goodell and Adam Silver. Mostly due to the fact that their rule changes have made both leagues' jokes. Take the eras of two greats in Joe Montana and Michael Jordan. The former throwing TD passes and dismantling defenses with his skill while getting sacked hard. The latter not only shooting the 3 but dunking, running the offense, jump shooting and most of all playing defense. Now you can barely touch the QB and the WR's in the NFL. Plus, all you see is hardly any defense in the NBA and nothing but 3 pointers. Sports have become woke with both of these leagues the worse.

Today's NBA is all about the 3-pointer. In decades past the long short was frowned upon because it simply wasn't reliable. It was all about working the ball in for the shot or getting it to the tall Center for the dunk (which the fans enjoyed). Today, there are no real Center's in basketball, there are 3 point specialists. Players under the basket with the ball actually pass it back out 20 ft for the long shot rather than just taking the better odds with the 2 pointer. For me, it became boring years ago and today I have no interest.

Joe Biden’s press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre always manages to find new ways to embarrass herself. From the very beginning, she’s proven herself to be a lackluster spokesperson. Biden received praise from the media for promoting her to replace Jen Psaki, but that was because Jean-Pierre was a black lesbian rather than for her communication abilities. As such, her first months as White House Press Secretary haven’t gone very well. She has managed to be even less prepared than Jen Psaki, awkwardly dodging questions and constantly having to refer to her notes. Things were getting so bad that they even brought Pentagon spokesman John Kirby over to babysit her.

How much has America changed? Well, consider moves being made at West Point.
