Damar Hamlin, the 24-year-old safety who collapsed due to cardiac arrest during Monday Night Football this week, is showing some signs of improvement, according to his uncle.
Dorrian Glenn, Hamlin’s uncle, told the NFL Network on Tuesday that his nephew had been reduced from 100% oxygen on the ventilator to 50%, a marked improvement.
“Right now, they got him on a ventilator, so they’re trying to get him to breathe on his own,” Glenn told the NFL Network.

Back in December President Donald Trump publicly backed House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s bid for speaker of the House in the next Congress.
The 76-year-old former commander-in-chief also warned that GOP lawmakers opposing the California Republican are playing a “very dangerous game.”
“Yeah, I support McCarthy,” Trump told Breitbart News during an interview from his Doral golf resort in Miami, Florida.
“Look, I think this: Kevin has worked very hard,” Trump added. “He is just — it’s been exhausting. If you think, he’s been all over. I think he deserves the shot. Hopefully, he’s going to be very strong and going to be very good and he’s going to do what everybody wants.”

Biden has spent 280 days – or 40% of his presidency on vacation.
Biden is vacationing in sunny St. Croix while Americans freeze to death.
The island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands has been one of the Bidens' favorite vacation destinations, a spot he traveled to when he was the Vice President serving under former President Barack Obama, Caribbean Journal reported.
But this is his first trip to the US territory as President.
They even decide to send a cringe New Year's message!
