Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) on Tuesday joined 13 Republicans who vowed to tank any priorities of GOP senators who vote for the 4,155 page omnibus bill that was negotiated with Democrats before a new Republican majority could take control of the House.
Reps. Chip Roy (R-TX), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Scott Perry (R-PA), and Andy Biggs (R-AZ), along with nine other conservatives House members, signed a letter Tuesday promising to block any priorities of the Republican senators who rushed to support the omnibus deal with Democrats just days before Congress leaves town for Christmas.

McConnell has no serious opposition so he can take this one out of hide. McCarthy has to drum up support for himself. I'm pretty sure thats all this theater is all about. As soon as McCarthy is in he will change his tune. We are all being played, as always.

Well they better do more than threaten, they better follow thru and do it, because the "mitch" brigade is saddled up and ready to ride with the Dems and betray the voters again.

It's not just McConnell, that two faced, lying poltroon Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, now that his treasonous butt is safely re-elected for another six years has also voted to advance this surrender to the Communist Death Democrat Omnibus Bill. Another John McCain, Lindsey Graham who runs to the right during the election and then immediately sucks up to McConnell. Disgusting. Once again we the voters of Florida who elected little Marco are betrayed immediately after the election. Our vote counts for squat.

The GOP can say whatever they want, they can say they are trying, but its out of their hands.
They Have No Power. The deep state controls it all and we've been lied to for decades. That is why Trump is such a threat, he exposed a lot of it but he was also controlled by the deep state and continues to be....

Negotiation?
Democrats: We need a couple of trillion more to get our last minute pork projects through.
Republicans: Are you sure that's enough?

Not that I trust one word from Kevin McCarthy, who is trying to promote himself as a tough conservative while trying to get elected as speaker....
But the republican senators, who betrayed their own party, that they are threatening to block are these:
Blunt, Boozman, Capito, Collins, Cornyn, Cotton, Graham, Grassley, Hyde-Smith, McConnell, Moran, Murkowski, Portman, Romney, Rounds, Rubio, Shelby, Thune, Tuberville, Wicker and Young.
This is the list of senators who answer to someone else besides their republican voters! If you voted for one of these, you played a part in the sale of the U.S. government.

Winning the House is totally pointless, if this omnibus package passes. The new House will be powerless for all of 2023. McConnell agreed to this, and should be fired immediately.

The four-legged rhino (my second favorite animal next to the elephant) is known to be very nearsighted. The two-legged DC version is however, totally blind. Blind to the fact that they work for We the People and not themselves. The head blind RINO Addison McConnell aka Looney Tunes Cecil the Turtle aka Milquetoast "Mitch" epitomizes this. As does his little buddy in the House McCarthy. Sure, Sackless Kev is talking a good game now but like my Dad always told me talk is cheap. It's what you do that ultimately counts and Conservatives know that No Stones McCarthy can't be counted on.

"...block legislation..." May I make an astounding suggestion that we have enough laws, more than we will need until the end of Time? If Congress wanted to earn its pay, it would start slashing laws and regulations, as well as closing numerous Federal agencies.

Is there not one elected representative in all of Congress that cares just a bit about America and Americans? We know the Biden Admin is anti-American with its love affair for all things Ukraine, illegal aliens from Third World crapholes, the Chinese CCP, etc.

This bill will only pump the inflation rate!
For those wondering if inflation hurts --- just think of this:
In 1971 I was making $1.65 an hour for a 40 hour work week. (I had a one room basement apartment in a privately owned home... toilet down the hall.) However, after about 25 hours of work (a little over 3 days) I could buy an ounce of gold for $41.60. (Assuming no taxes!)
Imagine I put that ounce of gold in my basement. Today, I bring it up from down stairs and now I can sell it for about $1,850. Absolutely no value added. It's the same uninteresting lump of gold.
In today's market I would have to make $74 an hour to buy another ounce of gold for only 25 hours of work. That's a salary of $2,960 a week or $153,920 a year. If I was still making $1.65 it would take me slightly over 1,120 hours of work --- or 28 weeks.
Inflation will eat you alive.

I'm sure that all Senate members on both sides have thoroughly read the bill. Will ANYBODY in media even ask? It's over 4,000 pages. Obamacare was "only" 2000+ pages, and no one read that either.

Mcconnell is not about what is best for Americans...he's about what is best for himself and his Chinese wife ...it's very obvious...nothing WE the people need will change that and McCarthy will fall in line just like the other senators who are looking out for themselves and how much they will be paid by the swamp to fall in line...

What Republican Senators Blunt, Boozman, Capito, Collins, Cornyn, Cotton, Graham, Grassley, Hyde-Smith, McConnell, Moran, Murkowski, Portman, Romney, Rounds, Rubio, Shelby, Thune, Tuberville, Wicker and Young have done is to subsidize Globalist ideology with 45 Billon for endless war.

The perfidy of the Republican Senators shows why it was wrong to give them 6 year terms. They are insulated from their actions until about a year before their reelection. It is so different in the House, where the voters could dump Liz Cheney and other traitors easily.

This is the ultimate DC scam. Wait until the very last minute then present a 4000 page debacle that either passes or the Democrats get to accuse the Republicans of shutting down the government. Other than Rand Paul, the Republicans fall in with this BS every time. They’ve had 9 months. McCarthy has to step very carefully right now. Any public show of support for this sellout and he’s toast.

Good! This bill is filled with nothing but puff. They always wait to the last minute to submit and do no work on it early on. No rush this time - liberals can go to you know where. Term limits sound good - no more millionaire from taxpayers.
