El Paso locals are rallying together to support the influx of thousands of migrants coming across the border just days before Christmas - some are even opening their homes to asylum seekers with children.
Residents in the small border town have been quick to purchase blankets, jackets, shoes and even toys for the children left sheltering on the streets as temperatures plummet.
Thousands of asylum-seekers have been lining up at the border, waiting to get into the country to be processed by border control as 400 members of the National Guard are positioned along the Rio Grande.

Small border town? El Paso is a major city. Who writes this stuff? Certainly not anyone who has actually been there.

The best present these people could get would be a berth on a nice warm bus back to El Salvador... If Kamel toe had a brain, she would insist companies repatriate all low wage jobs to Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico... VDH is right. This administration and much of our soi disant elites are simply incompetent.

If they were near my house, I would have to make sure they didn't die. I am a Christian. Do I want them here-no. But do I want them to freeze to death? No.

Why give them anything? Tell them to go to a legal entry point and apply to enter legally. We have no responsibility to help illegal aliens who are coming here for economic purposes only.Stop giving them free stuff courtesy of American taxpayers and they will go back to wherever they came from.

If you'll forgive my cynicism, I'll croon a little carol for these people, which is sung to a possibly recognizable tune and goes like this:
What crowd is this that brazenly
'Cross the Rio Grande is pouring,
Whom agents track but don't send back
While Congress is softly snoring.
These, these so-called refugees,
They can pay outrageous coyotes' fees;
But when they are over here
They demand that we house and we feed them.

The very people who are pulling these people into this country to restructure the voting landscape and monopolize political power are relying on the charitable instincts of those Christians they so despise. The political elites wish to reduce the Christian influences of the American culture, yet when push comes to shove, from thire Christmas gatherings in Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard of Palm Springs or Vail...... they hide from the horrible consequences of their own political maneuverings while ordinary people do extraordinary acts of charity. Without government funding.

I applaud the compassion but how many residents will be robbed or worse? Then there's that old adage about feeding the pigeons.

El Paso is blue and votes Democrat. I am not sure those outside of Texas know that. Let’s hope what Biden and Mayorkas have done to this city that proudly called itself a sanctuary city has awakened Democrat citizens to the stupidity of voting Democrat!!!

Well you have to figure that if an election were held tomorrow chances are a plurality of El Paso residents would cast their ballots for Biden and the leftist Democrats. That’s how dumb the country has become.

El Paso Mayor Oscar Leeser, a democrat who voted for and supports Joe Biden, was elected by 80% of the folks of that city.
Those folks just can't identify obvious threats to their quality of life.

As long as they stay in El Paso, get no Federal funds, never commit a crime, get a job, pay taxes, don't have kids, keep quiet, take showers daily, learn English, never become a citizen, never vote, then I am ok with their illegal act of crossing the border.
