Twitter’s top ranks were riddled with ex-FBI agents and executives, stitching the company even closer to the federal agency now under fire for leaning on Twitter to meddle in the 2020 elections. More than a dozen former feds flocked to the company in the months and years prior to Elon Musk’s purchase of the social network in October. The FBI’s influence was considerably more significant than just James Baker, the FBI’s former general counsel who later worked in the same role for Twitter. He was recently fired by Musk for interfering in the billionaire’s efforts to come clean about past transgressions at the company.

Comments:

Facebook is the worst. A propaganda machine that censors anything against the mainstream narrative. They need to be uprooted! If you think Twitter is bad just look at these stats!

It’s pretty clear that there was a concerted, cross-platform, hiring operation in 2016 to put into place what would essentially become human middleware in a permanent state operation to undermine the popular democratic process in the US. This isn’t left vs right—it’s wrong vs right.

The question is after being outed at the social media companies, will the FBI, CIA, DHS, etc., take these people back after their assignment where they've had to participate in so much drug use to fit in at their respective locations?

Seem to recall that during the Obama admin, they gave the okay to issue official propaganda. As such, the fact there were so many "former" F.I.B., CIA, etc.. at these propaganda forums does not seem as surprising. Agree with #1, need to focus on this whole thing as wrong vs. right, not left/right.

The Energy Department announced Friday that it would begin buying oil to refill the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) at prices below $96 per barrel, even though the White House previously stated that the department would begin buying back oil at a price of $67 to $72 per barrel. The Energy Department declared that it would start to repurchase crude oil at a lower price than the $96 per barrel average price that barrels were previously sold for to secure a “good deal” for the taxpayer, according to an official press release.

A top Space Force official is reportedly still on the job after allegedly keeping sex toys in his office and wearing a mankini – over his clothes – at an office holiday party. Andrew Cox, who heads the Space Warfighting Analysis Center, got a letter of reprimand and lost bonus pay, as well as a shot at a federal award, after an internal probe into numerous complaints — including one worker’s claim that when Cox isn’t focused on work, “[he] is … acting like a 13-year-old boy,” the Air Force Times reported.

Representative Mike Turner (R-OH) said on this week’s broadcast of FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” House Republicans plan to use oversight to investigate possible coordination between the FBI and social media companies. Turner said, “While we pursue intelligence community to try to hold them accountable, while we’re doing that, Elon Musk is showing what’s happening on the other side with the willing partners, the mainstream media, social media and really exposing coordination that was occurring between the FBI and them. Now, it is my understanding from our contacts that we have at the FBI that there are secret files that the FBI has of these contacts they were having with social media and with mainstream media.

A legal group staffed by former members of the Trump administration says that if President Biden blocks the release of documents that may contain information on Hunter Biden's relationship with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, "he will have only proven just how much he has to hide."  America First Legal is one of several groups who have filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests seeking Obama-era documents that reference "Burisma." The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is set to release nearly 300 emails that match the request, but the White House may stop the release of these records by invoking executive privilege.

If you are a conservative voter in America today at some point you have to realize you have no representation in the US Senate. Mitch McConnell has a 33 percent approval rating, the lowest in the US Senate and yet he was reelected as GOP Leader with 37 votes to 10 votes for Senator Scott. The Senate Republicans REALLY, really hate their base. The bill gives another $44.9 billion to Ukraine — where it disappears into the ether. The bill also makes it impossible for Americans to challenge a stolen election.

In a press conference on Tuesday afternoon in the U.S. Capitol, Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky was talking about priorities for the United States as lawmakers rush to pass a $1.7 trillion omnibus bill.  According to Leader McConnell — who said he was speaking for "most Republicans" — the "number one priority" for the United States is not any of the pressing domestic issues plaguing Americans as a result of President Joe Biden and his administration. No, McConnell said that "providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now, according to most Republicans." Really?

Why Do Liberals Hate Trump So Much? 29 replies

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?

He waved to Conway as they parted ways. The unlikely pair had been at the center of political power just two years ago.
