I do not hate Trump. I voted for him and would vote for him again. He was lied about and from before the inauguration the deep state/FBI/social media/Mainstream Press did everything they could to destroy him. Having said that, the reality is the man cannot win a national election. Further, I am certain that the red wave did not materialize because of his meddling in the primaries. Folks, I fear that if did get the nomination, we would get wiped out in congress and after that with the court packing and the woke judges that would be installed, we never will get our country back.

Trump/DeSantis would be the Wise Candidates, but that probably won't happen. I think the Press and those Polling Groups are going to continue to put Trump against DeSantis just to split the Vote and weaken Trump. I really don't care, I will vote for Either Candidate! I think Both of them would be able to beat Biden! Of course, if the Republicans don't get their act together and figure out how to beat the "Mail in Ballot" Game the Democrats have mastered, then we won't win AGAIN no matter Who we call our Candidate!

We're being played again! Another poll from a liberal polling organization, polling "registered voters" instead of "likely voters." It's pretty clear who the Dems want to run against. They know Trump can't win a national general election. He is toxic to too many women and Independents. Analysis of the data from mid-terms make that point clear. Adding to the problem, Trump is the best "get out the vote" program the Dems have. Trump energizes Dem (and many Independents) to get out and vote against Republicans like nobody else can. Trump hasn't been treated fairly, that's for sure. But, in many instances he has been his own worst enemy. The conservative movement is more important than Trump or any other politician. If Trump gets the nomination he will go down in flames in the general, and take the conservative movement and many Republican candidates over the cliff with him. If that happens, conservatives won't forgive him. He needs to check his ego and do the right thing for the conservative movement.

I will wait and see who is running besides Trump. I can still vote for Trump largely because what Washington has done to him. DeSantis has potential, but I want to hear more from him. Not sure either of them is what this country truly needs. I know this, however. I will not vote for any globalist RINO Republican that sounds like a Democrat. I will not vote for any Republican that sounds like a lying used car salesman. I will not vote for anyone that does not have a real plan. That rules out 99% of potential candidates. Hopefully by now voters should realize that any Republican has a huge hill, probably insurmountable, to climb to become President. The deck is stacked against them. Too many dumb dishonest voters supporting the Democrats without realizing its coming back to bite them. A Republican party that is content not to win. That makes it possible for voter fraud to carry the day.

Polls at this stage are little more than name recognition surveys. Whether or not one loves former President Trump, you have to admit that he is volatile. Like many strong-willed men of great accomplishment, he often treats those working closely with him poorly and with suspicion. That's one reason he burnt through multiple cabinet secretaries that he himself appointed, and four White House chiefs of staff in four years. Ron DeSantis is too savvy to run as Trump's running mate in 2024. He would be unable to be his own man--he would face endless trick questions from the press in the form of, "Do you support Mr. Trump when he says that . . .?"

Republicans are still recovering from the midterms hangover after suffering a stiff dose of how probabilistic mathematics, statistics, blood-red election maps, armchair predictions, and century-long historical trends are collectively no match for the underhanded ground game of one’s opponent. Giddy Democrats have again put one over on the American people, somehow dodging retribution for a miserable economy and two years of demonizing half the electorate. Even with majorities in both houses, the Dems faced stiff political and public resistance in their failure to pass H.R. 1, For the Peoples Act, a misnamed Democrat effort to federalize state elections.

Gaetz, one of five outspoken opponents of McCarthy, told Charlie Kirk in an interview he would rather wait weeks and have “sort of a turbulent takeoff” than have McCarthy be speaker. “I’m saying we could see the cherry blossoms bloom and not have a speaker. I hope it doesn’t come to that,” Gaetz said, in reference to the popular flower in D.C. that blooms annually around the end of March.

Members of the intelligence community, and censors at Twitter, stress that they just didn’t know the Hunter Biden laptop was real, so they erred on the side of caution. “It has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” the infamous letter from 50 former officials said. Now we know that was a lie. The FBI already had Hunter’s laptop — it was handed over to them by the owner of a Delaware repair shop, the same man who would provide it to The Post nearly a year later. It’s also increasingly obvious that the FBI had a heads up that the information was about to be published.

Fearing a huge winter upswing in the number of COVID and flu cases, government officials are once again calling on Americans to don their masks to keep the deadly viruses from spreading. But some take it a step further, suggesting even children 5 and under should put on masks. The latest I&I/TIPP Poll asks: Is that a good idea? The answer, probably not surprisingly to anyone, appears to depend heavily on a variety of factors, including where you live, your race, your gender and your political leanings. So, at the very least, we’re likely in for another politicized debate over the practice of masking, this time for the youngest among us.

The absurdity of the concept of reparations for slavery, an institution that ended several generations ago, is beyond mind-boggling. But there’s a blatantly cynical reason for the sudden lurch in that direction: formerly reliable Black voters are now slipping away from the Democrats. This also explains Biden’s recently expressed profuse generosity towards the nations of sub-Saharan Africa. What is also painfully obvious is the lame, demagogic pandering that is the Democrats’ knee-jerk response, especially to a defecting constituency: just throw money at them and that’ll keep ‘em on the reservation.
