NEW YORK -- There are new fears that New York City could be hit with a surge of migrants. This week, Title 42, a policy that has kept many asylum seekers from entering the country, is set to expire. Mayor Eric Adams is warning that there could be upwards of 1,000 migrants bused into the city each and every week, if the policy is allowed to expire. It's not clear how he arrived at that number, but it is clear that there is concern the system could be overwhelmed. The U.S.-Mexico border has been packed with migrants desperate to get in.

Comments:

Like a good Bidencrat he never suggests shutting down the border jumpers. He just doesn't want them in his backyard.

Texas ranchers can help out if they have one of those long cattle trailers. Tell the wife that we are going shopping in NYC for Christmas. Then load up the cattle trailer with illegals, hook it to your F-450, and head to yankee-town. Traffic permitting the trip should only take 20-22 hours. Unload in front of Macy's and then get the heck out of downtown NYC. Do your shopping in a suburb.

"Officials fear migrants will come to New York City in droves" Of course they don't want them in NYC. The invasion isn't just potential future voters. If the communists can burden red states with the costs of millions of "useless eaters" the difference in economic performance between Capitalist red states and Communist blue states can be hidden, diminished, obscured from the suffering, mobile voters. What is surprising about masses of illegal aliens arriving in New York City as the leftist Democrats who run that city designed New York City as a sanctuary city years ago? Common sense will tell you what Biden and the leftist Democrats have been doing through their “open borders”, “catch and release” and generally by refusing to enforce the immigration laws that were constitutionally passed by Congress, is flooding the the USA with as many poor and uneducated illegal aliens from the third world as possible, who fit within the ethnic, minority, and racial categories of Democrat identity politics, who Biden and the leftist Democrats intend to grant with wimpy Republican and RINO support a Democrat designed “path to citizenship” amnesty, that would eventually grant the tens of millions of illegal aliens. US citizenship, and most important for Biden and the leftist Democrats US voting rights, as they know that most can easily be transitioned into future socialist oriented Democrat supporters and voters in the years ahead, thus sending the wimpy Republicans into political oblivion. This morning the wimpy Republican Mike Pence appeared on Fox News where he was asked why Biden and the leftist Democrats have abandoned the borderline and are allowing whatever percentage of the third world that shows up to unlawfully enter he USA? The “prayerful”and wimpy Pence refused to answer that important question!

To answer #17, Adams hardly stays in Gracie Mansion, preferring his girlfriend's digs over the GWB. Uses a windowless office in the Verizon Building downtown, heavily guarded by his Ten Percenter posse, not the mayor's office in City Hall. Until the illegals start setting up tents in front of Zabars and revive Needle Park on Broadway, and even then, most rich proggie NYers won't get it. And by that time much too late...NY slit its own throat in electing Adams and Hopeless Hochul.

Oh, illegal aliens in NYC? They use the word migrants because they do not understand English. If I were king, every illegal alien in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida... would move, in order, to DC, NYC, Portland OR, San Francisco, Chicago. When I say "every", I mean every. If you're here illegally, then out you go. Those cities would be considerably larger, and considerably more dangerous, than they are today.

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico/WASHINGTON - When Vladimir Castellanos learned that COVID-19 restrictions blocking him and other migrants from claiming asylum at the U.S. border with Mexico may not be terminated this week, he said he felt deceived. Castellanos and his brother are Venezuelans, and they were among dozens of migrants gathered on both sides of the Rio Grande on Monday night in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and El Paso, Texas, with some lighting small fires to keep warm as temperatures dropped toward freezing. There is an endless list of factors students consider while choosing a college: size, cost, campus life, proximity to home. But since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Of those planning to enroll in an undergraduate program sometime in the next 12 months, 39% said that the court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will affect their decision to attend

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?
