Who needs the Babylon Bee when we have the Washington Post? Could the Bee, as brilliant as it is, give us a more precise and devastating takedown of woke victimhood mongering than the Bezos Bulletin gave us on Monday, in a story that is actually and unironically entitled “‘Shark Week’ lacks diversity, overrepresents men named Mike, scientists say”? If I had seen that at the Babylon Bee, I’d have chuckled and maybe thought it was a trifle over the top. But the Post, in all its self-important “Democracy Dies In Darkness” glory, would be quick to brand you a racist right-wing extremist if you dared to crack a smile.

It should not matter to an ocean swimmer getting eaten by a shark whether the shark is an oceanic white-tip or an oceanic black-tip. It's just nature, and nature likes a good meal.

I have no idea why anyone would gripe about diversity on SHARK WEEK. If you look at the commercials for the show white people are in the minority these days. Black people are about 13% of the population but appear in 90% of the commercials. I've even seen costume dramas where lords and ladies of Outer Baldonia are at the ball dressed in silks and jewels and its snowing outside. Yet, there's the Black man in a fancy costume used as a prop holding a wineglass and nodding aimlessly at fellow extras. If I was a Black person I would consider such casting as demeaning and racist. Many commercials would also fall into that category.

The commercials are not only mostly black but it's obvious that the writers are white given the proliferation of stereotypes, shouting and dancing around. If I wanted to view plus-size clothing on everybody I would go to Walmart.

He simply dismissed as the illiteracy of a layman my recital of the results provided by our best, independent virologists on the 99% recovery rate from the virus (the profusion of contrary fact-checks by the usual suspects is obviously meant to uphold the ritual narrative), the adverse and often lethal nature of the genomic injections, and the grand collusion and bulldozing approach of the major operators promoting the greatest scam of the modern age,

How else does one explain the fact that Hillary Clinton will not go away? After the 2016 election, there was a reasonable expectation that Hillary would slink off in defeat and spend her days in Chappaqua exploring the bottoms of various box wines. She did that for a while, but then got out of the house

In the midst of a massive military recruiting crisis and Republicans taking the House, the misguided vaccine mandate may be on its way out. Final defense legislation set to be unveiled next week could undo the Pentagon’s policy of kicking out troops for not taking the Covid vaccine, the Democratic chair of the House Armed Services Committee said Saturday. Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.) said a rollback of the policy is on the table for a compromise version of the National Defense Authorization Act, but hasn’t been decided yet. “We haven’t resolved it, but it is very fair to say that it’s in discussion,” Smith told POLITICO on the sidelines

From the federal government to corporate monopolies to financial gimmicks like FTX to the media to massive charities, institutional wokeness is a red flag that an organization is incompetent or a scam. As a rule of thumb, the less innovative and functional an organization is, the more likely it is to disguise its innate worthlessness through virtue signaling. Murphy argued that the votes for such a bill are "probably not" there for Democrats, despite the president's push to enact a ban following a spate of shootings in recent weeks. Sen. Warnock was leading Walker 50.4% to 49.6% when the race was called, earning the senator his first, full six-year term after ousting an appointed Republican incumbent in a special election runoff nearly two years ago. Walker’s defeat was a major blow to the Republicans. They capped a disappointing midterm election season with yet another loss that effectively surrendered a Senate seat to the Democrats, who saw their majority grow from 50 to 51.

Proponents gained steam after a task force in California last week recommended that the Golden State shell out $569 billion in reparations to slaves’ descendents there, or $223,200 apiece, because of lingering housing discrimination practices. A previously proposed New York measure called for creating a commission to study the impact of slavery and providing reparations but failed to pass the legislature. It has already been legalized in California, Colorado, Oregon, Vermont and Washington, with more than 200 Americans opting for the process to date. And the latest eco-craze is surging in popularity with the center pioneering human composting — Recompose — tripling in size in just two years. They now have 1,200 people on the ‘waiting’ list.
