A climate protester glued his shaved head to the world-famous “Girl with a Pearl Earring” painting at a museum in The Hague on Thursday, the latest in a series of stunts targeting iconic artworks.
A second activist glued his hand to the wall next to the painting and poured a can of tomato soup over his accomplice’s head, before going on a rant about climate change while being jeered by stunned onlookers.
Dutch master Johannes Vermeer’s 1665 canvas is protected by glass at the Mauritshuis museum and was not damaged, gallery staff said. “The police were notified and three people have been arrested.

I guess security is non existent in these museums - protestors bringing in glue and soup cans? I can’t buy glue at Walmart without showing an ID at the checkout. Passive Europeans as usual.

Give these idiots the same treatment meted out to the OTHER idiots who protested at the VW plant by gluing themselves to the floor. Turn out the lights, turn off the heat, and lock the exit door on your way out for the night.

Glue? Art? Soup? What does that have to do with climate change it has more to do with stupid ignorant people. Some people just need some physical therapy like an old-time a** kicking.

Yep. Leave 'em there and call it art. They would be moaning and crying for mommy within a few hours, especially the guy glued to the painting who is at an odd angle. It would function the way public stocks used to function.

Leave him there, but first make sure that he doesn’t have a bottle of nail polish remover in his pocket. Those idiots who glued themselves to the floor at the Porsche display building, brought it with them so that they could detach themselves and use the rest room during their protest.

I saw the video of the Haystacks getting damaged. The male moron was perfectly positioned to have his teeth kicked down his throat by any ol’ bystander man’s I was saddened that no one did that.
Oh, please try that when I am in the museum……

The world will need to start keeping works of art behind protective cases. Idiotic activistis can't be trusted to refrain from damaging them.
Next time somebody pulls a stunt like this, proceed to superglue their buttocks to a rabid wolverine that's been sedated. Then let it wake up...
