Washington Post demonstrates how crummy
it is by writing obnoxious obit about
Lucianne Goldberg

Original Article

At newspapers, obituaries are typically written in advance. The Washington Post had plenty to work with when the death of Lucianne Goldberg happened, but instead of remembering good, or at least balancing their summary, they selectively chose to remember the great muse of the right, Internet pioneer, and accomplished woman from a time when women weren't allowed much accomplishment, by printing only cherry-picked tales of dubious sourcing that made her look phony. It was garbage. It stood in stark contrast to the insightful and warm-hearted tweets that overwhelmingly were the consensus on Twitter, from wildly different parts of the Internet spectrum.

Comments:

They tried to paint her as a phony for exposing the corruption in the mainstream media. What's a bigger lie than that?

Our leftie paper Portland Press Herald here in Main, published that disgusting and biased article on our Lucianne. I detest the paper and I read it online only for local news and comics, the rest is garbage. There are articles like this daily and the vitriol is worse with Trump. I posted yesterday how much I enjoyed this website for its diversity in articles and responses. We’ll miss Miss Lucianne.

Trying to recall when L.com launched. This site has been my first read since before Dubya was president. I’ve always loved the format. I remember the “mouse reporters’ and the acronym we coined here for PIAPS. If any of you have a shirt, hat or cap for Lucianne.com; that was from us. I remember her radio program with Sid that was broadcast for a short while. She made Drudge Report a thing with the blue dress story. We used to email on occasion. She was the one and only lucianne@aol.com. She was a great lady who fought for truth in journalism and loved her country. I will be forever grateful having a very small part in her story.

Luciannen was able to report when good people did bad things or bad people did good things, a quality in journalism not seen since Horace Greeley suggested, go west young men! go west.

Typical WaPost reporting. Have been checking a number of other news sites, and reading their Obitiuary of our most beloved Lucianne...It is amazing that THIS site, Lucianne.com, is rarely mentioned in the majority of them that I have seen....They certainly do not want it to be known that there is a great conservative site such as this one ....The news media is our biggest enemy!

We have loved Lucianne and this site since the Bill Clinton days when she stood up to the lying liberal media. Lucianne in those days would personally send thank you notes to her donors. What a lady! This site, Lucianne.com, is the first place in the morning I go to, to see what's going on in the world. Years ago, it used to be Lucianne and Drudge, but Drudge went dark and we left. Thank you Lucianne for being consistent and faithful for all these years. That's why we love you. God bless your family. May those who continue this website have the same Spirit you had.

Any time a conservative is dissed by the lefty media, the insult should be worn as a badge of honor, imo. The fact that the memory of our beloved Miss Lucianne has been sullied by the WaPo is a clear sign of just how great an impact she had--and will continue to have--on the execrable MSM. The WaPo used to be a left-leaning but informative newspaper. Since 2016, it has become pure and simple propaganda for the Democratic Party, openly abandoning the bedrock journalistic principle of objectivity. Even worse than the NYT. WaPo ran a piece by a black female columnist Thursday on the cancelation of Kanye West that included in the headline: "When a white man gets in trouble, call me," implying that only blacks get canceled. That, my friends, is literally delusional and not worthy of publication. All of that said, I honestly didn't think their Lucianne obit was all the bad. It mostly relied on her own words. Obviously, it paled in comparison to the beautiful tribute here yesterday from her friend John Podhoretz, but what would you expect from a left-wing newspaper?

.I believe God created a Pantheon of American Patriotism in Heaven. And I believe three people are in it. Ronald Reagan, for sustaining and growing patriotism through his example and actions. Rush Limbaugh, for the beautiful rhetoric he fashioned on the subject of patriotism Lucianne Goldberg, for her prescience in understanding and harnessing the power of the internet And one more thing - if Lucianne had not talked with, and encouraged Linda Tripp about taping her conversations with Monica Lewinsky, and encouraged the preservation of the blue dress, I believe Linda Tripp and Monica Lewinsky would have preceded Seth Rich as 'victims of a late night robbery in D.C.' Lucianne saved their lives. It took me a few yars to gain posting privileges on the site, and it has become part of my retirement to read every article, every day, sometimes posting too much or too many times. I also have revealed more about my family than most of you people do, but I consider you my family. And Lucianne did that for me. I have shed some tears over her death, as I did with Rush and President Reagan, but I'm sure Lucianne is busy tidying up her new environment, and would say my tears should stop.

Lucianne was a gracious woman to me, in that among probably thousands of emails she received, she confirmed to me that she had a hand in brokering and deal with Bobby Kennedy to have Lyndon Johnson who bitterly came in second at the 1960 Democrat National Convention to have LBJ on the ticket to bring in Texas which was critical. JFK would have preferred his friend and fellow Senator from Florida George Smathers, but she helped to create that ticket. Rest in Peace, Lucianne. You played pivotal roles in history like few others!

No one is surprised by this. Leftists are horrible people. This left-handed hit piece more than anything else is why good people recoil in their presence. Their evil runs deep and never fails to show itself at the most inappropriate times. I expected they could not resist one last opportunity to show their contempt for Ms.Goldberg because she had the audacity to understand the significance of Linda Tripp’s interaction with Monica Lewinsky and did something about it. God bless her. She did the country a great service and lived to tell about it which was an extraordinary accomplishment considering the fate of the majority of people who exposed this couple for who and what they are. Consider the source. If that bunch of illiterate goons had to stand on their own without injections of cash to cover their pitiful sales they would have gone bankrupt years ago and if the democrat party did not need a propaganda arm to cover their incompetence and crimes, they would be competing with the New York Times for space at the bottom of the dung heap that passes for journalism today.

Elon Musk became Twitter Inc's (TWTR.N) owner on Thursday, firing top executives and providing little clarity over how he will achieve the lofty ambitions he has outlined for the influential social media platform. "The bird is freed," he tweeted, referencing Twitter's bird logo in an apparent nod to his desire to see the company have fewer limits on content that can be posted. The CEO of electric car maker Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) has, however, also said he wants to prevent the platform from becoming an echo chamber for hate and division. It's been a bad show for Democrats in midterm debates around the country -- in Pennsylvania and New York last night, and earlier in Arizona, Florida, Texas, and more. Paranoia and fearmongering -- you can just smell it among the Democrats and their boosters. Today they got caught putting out bare naked disinformation about Republican plans for the country once they win the midterm election. They claimed Republicans were going to steal grandma's Social Security check and tax veterans benefits, among other unpopular ideas no credible party would ever endorse. These Democrats know they're slip-sliding away, you can see it even in the governors' races now, so the idea now is to scare the voters into voting for the Democrat status quo instead of embrace a new party. One problem: It's not a distortion of the Republican plans, it's actual lies,

If Joe Biden disgusts us with stubborn willingness to sacrifice the entire economy for the sake of his greenie, open-borders, big-spending, agenda, note that Democrats have it in for him, too. For Democrats, their logic is that Joe has sacrificed their political power for the sake of his greenie, open-borders, big-spending agenda. They cite 'inflation,' forgetting that they were the ones who enacted the big spending that triggered the inflation and Joe embraced, and somehow, Joe hasn't magically stopped it. For them, this is simple: angry voters at midterms about to destroy their party's majority in the House and Senate, so Joe is going to pay for it.

The tottery, weak government of Liz Truss in the U.K. has come to a mercifully short end. It was unfortunate -- there were high hopes that Truss could be another Margaret Thatcher, which is what the U.K. needs, and Truss had barely started the job, having lasted all of 44 days. The fiasco was triggered by her disastrous "mini-budget," an expensive subsidy program to counter high energy prices, combined with tax cuts, which the press repeatedly shouted were "not paid for." Old Joe Biden piled on with that one four days ago from Portland, literally between gobbles of ice cream, horning in on another country's internal affairs

I don’t understand why Republican candidates for office are not challenging their opponents on whether or not they support President Biden’s harming national security by draining of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve for temporary price declines at the gasoline pump as the nation votes. Biden’s policies brought about high oil prices, starting with his cancellation of the Keystone Pipeline and limits on oil leasing on Day One of his term. Now, as international tensions soar, and formerly reliable oil suppliers like Saudi Arabia mull retaliation for slights from Biden, our ability to withstand a cutoff of diminishment of oil supplies is imperiled by Biden’s move to shore up his political support.

Just days before midterms, it's starting to turn toxic out there for Democrats. After a certain amount of blather about the red wave vanishing, it's back, with a vengeance, polls say, and Democrats look powerless to stop it. Start with the obvious here: President Trump is the most popular politician in the country. According to Fox News, citing a New York Times poll: More voters say they would vote for former President Trump than President Biden if the election were held today, according to a new poll from The New York Times and Siena College.

What is it about Democrats and ice cream? Nancy Pelosi disgusted many with her ostentatious fridge full of expensive ice cream at the height of the coronavirus lockdowns. Even progressives were annoyed. Now Joe Biden is chomping on ice cream for reporters, and telling us, between bites and licks: "Our economy is strong as hell." (snip for tweet) Yes, the economy's "hell" all right, and Joe's cooling off with expensive ice cream while you and I and all the other Americans are taking the heat from it. What a vile picture of a president so out of touch he has no idea how bad he looks. He's flaunting his ice cream before us

That Is Inciting Violence

President Joe Biden on Saturday again tried to blame Republicans for the attack on Paul Pelosi on Friday. “You can’t condemn the violence unless you condemn those people who continue to argue the election was not real, that it’s being stolen, that all the malarkey that’s being put out there to undermine democracy,” he said. The president spoke to reporters about the attack at a polling center in Delaware, where he voted early with his granddaughter Natalie Biden. “The talk has to stop. That’s the problem,” he said. “That’s the problem.” Biden appeared annoyed the Republicans were condemning political violence without condemning some of the rhetoric coming from their colleagues.

CBS’s Sunday Morning started off with their anchor Jane Pauley fearmongering that if Republicans win in the 2022 midterm elections, “democracy” could end in the United States. Plugging an upcoming segment by correspondent Robert Costa, Pauley fretted that “the very future of our democracy” is on the ballot in 2022.  “This past summer, it was looking like the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade might offer an opportunity to the party in power, the Democrats. But a more recent issue, inflation, could very well rule the day. And favor Republicans,” Pauley bemoaned.

President Biden cast an early vote at his local polling station in Wilmington, Del. on Saturday, hoping that a Democratic free-fall in the midterm elections won’t put the brakes on his ambitious agenda. Biden, spending his customary weekend at his Delaware home, escorted his 18-year-old granddaughter Natalie, the daughter of his late son Beau, to vote for the first time. Biden was filmed fondling the girl’s breast during a public event over the weekend and then kissing her in front of horrified onlookers. During the event, quickly place an “I voted” sticker on her chest.

President Joe Biden threatened Monday to pursue higher taxes on oil company profits if industry giants do not work to cut gas prices. Biden has criticized oil companies that have made record-high profits as consumers struggle to keep up with high gas prices. The price of a gallon of gas was $3.76 on Monday, according to AAA, down from a record of over $5 in June but still higher than a year ago. (Snip) “If they don’t they’re going to pay a higher tax on their excess profits,” he said. With eight days to go before Election Day, White House

Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that the attack on Paul Pelosi was in part because “MAGA extremists” had villainized Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for years. Klobuchar said, “This was a vicious attack meant for the Speaker, ends up hammering the Speaker’s Husband, and our prayers are with her and her husband, their kids, their grandkids. A vicious attack in which she has been villainized for years, and big surprise, it’s gone viral, and it went violent.

Here is a question for Republicans to consider before next week’s midterm elections: How far does former President Donald Trump have to go before the GOP kicks him out of the party? Put another way, will the Republican Party save itself before it has completely lost its soul? It has been deeply disappointing to see so few GOP leaders and Republicans in Congress challenge Trump’s takeover of the GOP. It has been equally disappointing to see so many Americans buy Trump’s “big lie” about the 2020 election. (snip) Trump continues corrupting the party of Lincoln

On Sunday’s edition of NBC’s Meet the Press, anchor Chuck Todd openly fretted over the likely scenario that the pain and suffering of Americans from the rampant inflation caused by the Biden regime’s economic policies will cause voters to sweep Republicans like Kari Lake into office across the country. Todd posed his latest worry to New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu who didn’t take the bait and instead focused on what should be done in Congress next year to solve the mounting problems in the United States.

How dare you reject the Official Approved Narrative™ parroted by the regime media about the weird Schiff that went down at Casa de Pelosi the other night. There’s only one possible explanation, according to experts, licensed journalists, and our betters – an underwear-clad MAGA assassin from a hippie commune in Berkeley who is best known for his nudist activism broke into the oddly unguarded mansion of the Speaker of the House, a wealthy woman who has her police force and has not been shy about expounding on the perilous peril she faces from murderous insurrectionists,

It is my opinion that this midterm election will not be a “red wave” or a “red tsunami.” I predict a Red Flood of almost Noahic proportions. First will come the overwhelming rejection of the Biden agenda on November 8. Then will come the rejoicing by most of Red America. But after that, the illegalities will begin, starting with challenging the vote counts and the calls for recounts. Then it will escalate to violence unless there is a plan to nip it in the bud before it starts.
