Rescuers inched closer Friday to reaching a five-year-old boy trapped for three days in a well in Morocco, in an operation hampered by concerns about ground stability that has captivated the North African country. The boy, identified as Rayan, fell into a 32-metre (105-feet) shaft, located outside his home in the village of Ighran in the northern province of Chefchaouen, on Tuesday evening. Search crews first used five bulldozers to dig vertically to a depth of more than 31 metres, according to Morocco's official MAP news agency.

New York City's school children will be tucking into chickpea wraps and veggie tacos, instead of cheese pizza and 'mystery meat' sandwiches, as the nation's largest school district shifts to 'Vegan Fridays' starting this week. The move was championed by the city's new Mayor Eric Adams, who follows and promotes a plant-based diet that he credits for improving his health.'I can't tell people what to put on their grills on the weekend. But darn it, we should not be feeding the health care crisis in our prisons, our hospitals, and most importantly, in our schools, so we want to go in a more healthy direction,' Adams said

Gold or Gulag? It’s a question on the minds of many anxious athletes and journalists as the Olympics kick off in Beijing — one made more urgent by the physical removal of a reporter by Chinese officials on live television.“Our correspondent @sjoerddendaas was pulled away from the camera by security guards at 12:00 p.m. live in the NOS Journaal,” tweeted Dutch public broadcaster NOS, Friday. “Unfortunately, this is increasingly becoming a daily reality for journalists in China. He is fine and was able to finish his story a few minutes later.”The not-so-subtle move from the Chinese is further proof that the Beijing Organizing Committee (BOC) meant business

Trump has, somewhat surprisingly, remained largely quiet on the issue of John Durham and his investigation into Russiagate and the hoax cooked up by a bunch of Democrat apparatchiks to try to bring down the Trump Presidency. Now, however, in an interview with Kask Patel of the Epoch Times, Trump had a bit to say about the largely secret probe and what it might find as it digs deeper and deeper into the Russia hoax in the taste of what the Epoch Times plans to release on February 7th.Speaking on the probe, Trump said “I hear there’s a lot coming.”Then, continuing that thought, he said “We’re gonna see what happens. But

Damning internal emails sent by members of the New York Times editorial board were made public today during the libel trial brought by Sarah Palin against the newspaper. The emails were introduced by Palin's lawyer Shane Vogt as he questioned Elizabeth Williamson, a journalist with the editorial section of the Times who wrote the first draft of the article. In a message shown to the jury, Jesse Wegman, a member of the NYT editorial board, wrote that he worried the opinion piece that Palin sued over looked like they were trying to 'sneak in' a link between her and the 2011 shooting of former Rep. Gabby Giffords.

On January 31, 2022, the Orange County NC School Board held a special meeting, reviewing the books Out of Darkness, Gender Queer, and Lawn Boy. The board voted unanimously to keep these books in the public school libraries. The board then waived the procedure stating the status of the material as indefinitely approved, unable to be challenged after two years per the stated policy. Parents needed to be punished for raising concerns!Towards the end of the meeting, board member Sarah Smylie implied that parental concern is a “distraction” from real work. To imply that parents are only doing this for the sake of “distraction” is incorrect.

The Virginia General Assembly has barred state Delegate Aijalon Cordoza — a black Republican– from joining the assembly’s Black Caucus. In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Cordoza called the move an “insult.” “It really did offend me,” Cordoza said. “It was a spit in the face. This says to me that I’m not black enough to be in the Black Caucus, and that’s an insult.” It calls to mind then-candidate Joe Biden’s now-infamous comment to Charlamagne tha God: “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

The boss of CNN’s new parent company said on Friday the network was “the leader in news to the left” – but his communications team soon scrambled to walk back the frank admission, insisting he wasn’t talking about politics.Discovery CEO David Zaslav, whose media giant is set to close its merger with CNN’s owner WarnerMedia this spring, made the surprise remark during a discussion about the network’s future – days after the abrupt resignation of the network’s president, Jeff Zucker.“We have this great entertainment menu, which should keep people in the home, from the kids to the grandparents. Why would they go anywhere else?

Former Vice President Mike Pence delivered a speech in Florida Friday and pushed back against claims from former President Trump and his supporters that he had the ability to use his power to contest the 2020 presidential election. "There are those in our party who believe that as the presiding officer over the joint session of Congress, I possessed unilateral authority to reject electoral college votes," Pence said in the speech to the Federalist Society. "And this week, our former president said I had the right to overturn the election. President Trump is wrong…I had no right to overturn the election."Pence continued,

Whoopi Goldberg's suspension from The View this week is the pinnacle of a years-long habit of making off-color remarks about Jewish people that includes a recipe she wrote for a celebrity cookbook in the 1990s called 'Jewish American Princess Fried Chicken', DailyMail.com can reveal. In 1993, Goldberg - whose real name is Caryn Johnson - submitted the recipe to Cooking in The Litchfield Hills, a charity cookbook comprised of recipes from the well-heeled residents of the leafy Connecticut suburb. DailyMail.com exclusively obtained a copy of the long-forgotten cookbook, where Whoopi's recipe mocking Jewish-American women glaringly stands out
