Former Vice President Mike Pence delivered his most direct and public rebuke of former President Donald Trump – saying he had 'no right' to overturn the 2020 election as Trump demanded.
Pence made the statement in a defiant speech to the Federalist Society in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, on Friday.

You may attempt to re-write history, but after years of Democrats doing it, I will put you in that same crowd.

At this point, why would ANYONE contribute a dime to him for any planned campaign?

I have rarely seen someone so horribly wrong on basics. The Jan 6 demonstrations took PRECISELY because because the Presidency belongs to the American people. And not to a cabal of leftists, globalists and faceless deep state bureaucrats.

So, you're driving down the road and your smart phone security message informs you someone is breaking into the house. You turn to your dear wife sitting next to you: Dear, quick, call the police! Which she flatly refuses to do because she SWEARS she made sure the toilet wasn't running before you left.

Pence and Hillary got their revenge so they both need to shut up. Millions of people witnessed a stolen election so what did Pence see that we didn't?

The only thing dark about January 6 is the fact that it was a reflection of the contempt that people have for the criminal activity in the key states. There is no doubt that the election was stolen. There is too much evidence. It's never the popular vote that determines the winner. The communists don't like that, thus they are getting in practice for the day that they will have elections like all "People's Democratic Republic of" nations.

Every time Pence speaks, he sounds more and more like George Walker Bush (Bush 43). Like Bush, Pence talked a good game but Pence's stupidity of late proves it was hollow, superficial playacting. Will Republicans ever wise up? If not, the Democrats are going to prevail in the long run. Pence's statements harm Republicans generally but, most of all, he hurts himself by disclosing his delusions of grandeur.

Pence is of course correct. Read the relevant section of the Constitution. Several senators were going to demand that some states’ tallies be closely examined for irregularities. That process was brought to a halt by the fools who waltzed into the Capitol. The senators collapsed and certification breezed through. Pence could have done nothing to stop it.
January sixth was a dark day, but one day far darker was Election Day when the Democrats’ schemes leading up to it effected the theft of President Trump’s victory.
Pence will never be the nominee for 2024. He should move on to a tranquil private life, or more likely a lucrative “fixer” role in the swamp Trump wanted to drain.

And the Capitol building is supposed to be the "People's House". But Nancy Pelosi can choose to keep us out whenever the mood strikes her? We had valid arguments, and still do. However, some instigators (feds?) acted stupidly and weak-kneed Republicans like Pence folded like they always do. Those Jan. 6th detainees need to be released ASAP, so they can sue because their rights are being violated. No one seems to care in DC, but we are paying attention, so shame on all that ignore their plight.

Pence is sounding a lot like the liberal media. In fact, he’s the lead story on ABC tonight who is reporting a fracture in the Republican Party. He’s gone full narrative against MAGA. This is Pence’s deplorable moment!

DC is not a swamp, it is a sewer!!! No matter how idealistic a person is when they go there, if they spend any time there at all, they too will be ruined!!!
Mike Pence was a good Christian, and a very good VP -- as long as he didn't have to actually do anything. But when he had the Constitutional responsibility to make sure the results of the election were valid by postponing validating the election a few days to allow investigations of the massive proof of election fraud by the Demon-Rats, he stabbed President Trump in the back and folded like a wet sponge!!!
Unless Benedict Arnold Pence is planning to run as a Demon-Rat, his career is over!!! He needs to go home to his wife, and spend a lot of time in church trying to save what is left of his eternal soul. Hopefully he didn't sell all of it to Satan for power!!!

It wasn't Pence's job to overturn the election. As vice president, Pence's job was to basically count the electoral votes from each state and present the results to the House. What Pence failed to do, was return the electoral vote count back to a state that was not certified by the state's legislative branch. In a number of key states, the electoral count was certified by the governor or court system of that state. Neither the governor nor the courts have the authority to certify the electoral vote. Only the legislative branch of that state can do that.

States are responsible for the conduct of elections and voting under their own laws.
That is not a delegated authority from the states for the Feds to play with.
Even pathetic Pantywaist Pence knows this.
Corman of PA exercised his state's rightful authority to request additional state review --to consider serious evidence of improper certification, based upon allegations of fraud so significant they could nullify the slate of electors sent to the Capitol.
PA had the constitutional right to investigate injury to their citizens regarding newly-found election and/or voting illegalities.
Pence had no right or authority under our Constitution to deny, or refuse, the return of a state's own documents, or to
block its own review of important new evidence of fraud under its own laws.
Fraud negates everything, b/c it negates our most fundamental right to safe, secure, honest elections.
All other whinging to the contrary on these boards is marxist rubbish.
That is all.
