It has become clear that the Democrats hate America to the point where they are willing to destroy her rather than give up their Trump hatred. One has only to look at the candidates and representatives they embrace to see that this is so. Mamdani has begun a cascade of communists in American politics. The invasion is underway. Trump hatred has so blinded Democrats’ sensibilities, that they have become parasites in the American bloodstream that will destroy the host rather than openly declare that they will not embrace murder and communism and an Islamic caliphate. The Democrats were hating on George W. Bush long before they were hating on DJT. Because the Democrats own most of "news" outlets and all of education they find it very effective to vilify and promote hatred of their opponents. President Trump is the only person since President Reagan who can effectively overcome that tactic.

Their Trump hatred has always been a Venn subcircle of their hatred of America. (Witness the same hatred for Bush II, Bush I, Regan, and Nixon. Nixon! The man who gave them everything they wanted -- EPA, OSHA, and the entire administrative state. He was the Roosevelt of the 1970s.) Some of you were very slow to figure that out. I don't know why it took America so long to realize just how awful the Left in America is and was. As if burning cities over invented wrongs didn't immediately get you there in your thinking.

Tucker Carlson is likely running for President of the United States. It pains me to say that, because he is a truly disgusting human being, and you and I will be tarred with the same brush as he will be. He used to be one of "us," if a bit on the boisterous side. And to our credit, as if that were enough, the guy was and remains deviously brilliant. I don't expect Tucker to get a ton of votes, but he certainly can get enough to change the outcome of a presidential race should he decide to pop into the race. He does have almost 18 million followers

Everybody gets it wrong, even if they are smart and exercise good judgment. As long as they acknowledge their mistakes, explain why they made them, and are willing to learn, making a mistake and acknowledging it can actually be a good thing. If the sociology of education were a bona fide academic field, the saga of Jason Arday would provide material for innumerable Ph.D.s. Cambridge University hired Arday to teach the subject. John has follwed the Arday saga in posts here and here. The Cambidge dons who hired Arday somehow overlooked the indicia of fraud that permeate his thesis and his account of himself. He is a fraud of which Europe has not seen the likes since the heyday of George Psalmanazar in the eighteenth century. However, the credulity of the Cambridge dons is much funnier than that of Psalmanazar’s audience or, more recently, that on which Carlos Castaneda played in

A climber known for setting speed records in Yosemite National Park has died in a climbing accident in California. Jake Whisenant, 30, of Mammoth Lakes, California, died Aug. 3, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Coroner Unit. The sheriff’s office website lists the cause of death as “accident,” and officials have not released additional details. Tulare County includes Sequoia National Park and the southern Sierra Nevada. Bailee Moore, who described Whisenant as her lifelong friend, told NBC News on Monday that he died in a fall while he was climbing and that the details surrounding the fall are still being investigated. She called his death an “unimaginable loss.” “There’s no words that could
Leftist women yearn for subjugation 5 replies

There was a joke made years ago about how “the children yearn for the mines,” because while they’re no longer de facto forced to dig for coal in Appalachia and the Northeast (due to their impoverished circumstances), they’re drawn to the mines nonetheless—the Minecraft video game was (and still is) wildly popular. Well, on a similar note, leftist women yearn for subjugation. No external factor is forcing them into roles of diminished status, but they just can’t help being drawn to what is not good for them (abortion, open relationships, hook-ups, transgenderism, etc.), and placing themselves under a yoke. This is more of a

A Florida swimmer had her arm ripped off by a 10-foot alligator — a vicious attack she wound up surviving thanks to a fast-acting boater who scared the beast away. The woman was on a paddleboard in the Silver River in north-central Florida when the gator grabbed her by the arm and pulled her underwater, despite her trying to push it away with her paddle, FOX35 reported. Miraculously, John Gamache was eating lunch on his boat and, upon hearing the woman’s family’s cries for help, he sped toward the group. “I looked just upriver from us a couple hundred feet and saw an alligator head way above the water and going full

It's hard for me to believe that the Democrats might run Kamala Harris for president again after her campaign was such a disaster in 2024. Not only did President Donald Trump clean her clock, even getting more of the popular vote, but he also beat her in all the swing states. Plus she spent and lost a ton of money in a futile cause, by some estimates, $1.5 billion over the course of an abbreviated campaign. Polls have her up for 2028, though, so I'm all in for it. That should be great fun to watch her go down in flames again. It does sound like she's gearing up

On July 16, 1988, Florence Griffith-Joyner sprinted 100 meters in 10.49 seconds at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis. Nearly four decades later, no woman has run faster, and her world record still stands. Her 200-meter record, set at the Seoul Olympics later that year, has also stood for almost forty years. Flo-Jo remains the fastest woman who has ever lived. Yet her 100-meter record has repeatedly been surpassed by American high school boys. The current U.S. high school boys’ record is 9.92 seconds, set in 2025 and more than half a second faster. Many boys have run faster than Flo-Jo’s legendary mark, and each year more join that list. Rush Limbaugh had a saying to explain how he would drive a point home about the left that perfectly applies to what we’re seeing in the WNBA today. He said that sometimes you have to illustrate the absurd through absurdity. In other words, you have to take the left’s premise to its ultimate conclusion to more fully see just how messed up it is. That would be a perfect description of how the WNBA is totally blowing its current men-in-women's-sports crisis. My colleagues David Manney and Robert Spencer both wrote separate stories about this trend, which is getting increasingly absurd: We now have former NBA stars declaring their intent

There is a pattern that repeats with disturbing regularity: when left-wing or socialist policies dominate power, crises not only arrive — they worsen, are managed through ideology, and end up costing lives, prosperity, and social cohesion. This is not an accident. It is the result of a worldview that prioritizes narrative, social engineering, and political control over effectiveness, prevention, and reality. The 2008 financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, uncontrolled mass immigration, and energy failures are clear examples. The United States is not immune: what Europe and Spain have suffered with particular intensity offers a direct warning for America. The 2008 crisis was global, originating in the American financial system,

Democratic Gov. Maura Healey was met with applause and smiles as she signed away Massachusetts' gestational limits on abortion, making the deep-blue state the 10th to permit the procedure up to birth. Under the Prioritizing Patient Access to Care Act, health care workers will have greater discretion in determining whether to perform an abortion later in pregnancy, without facing legal penalties under the state's previous restrictions. Healey said the law is intended to ensure families facing medical complications late in pregnancy can abort their babies in Massachusetts rather than having to travel out of state. Those complications can include maternal health complications and fatal diagnoses.

What is surfacing now, five years later, is a stronger understanding of just how the establishment medical complex determined the safety and efficacy protocols of the COVID-19 vaccination. They had theories, they had speculation, they had scientific discussion; but ultimately, they did not know to what extent the vaccine was safe – and statistically it wasn’t safe. Looking back on recent history, the COVID experience stands out. The lessons from observing the government’s response, and how people reacted to it, have influenced our perspective on many topics related to liberty and freedom.

Illegal migrants are losing out on beach vacations and picnics because of President Donald Trump’s crackdown on illegal migration, according to hand-wringing reports in pro-migration media outlets. “A group of Latino friends and their families had a tradition they repeated every summer: traveling in a caravan to a North Carolina beach, renting a large house, sharing expenses, enjoying the ocean and cooking together,” said an “8 agosto, 2026” report in EnlaceLatinonc.org, which tried to hide the migrants’ illegal status. “But this year, they decided to stay home” because they are illegal migrants, the report lamented, as it broadcast complaints from some of the 15 million illegal migrants in the United States:

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed once declared his sacred "obligation" to follow Sharia law in every aspect of his life until he meets his maker on the day he dies, according to unearthed comments he made to the New York Times in 2009 as a young man buying his first home. "Ultimately, the question is, when I die and I stand before God and go through everything I did in my life, I don't want to say I did it the easy way instead of the Shariah-compliant way. Not because of fear but because of obligation," said El-Sayed,

Dr. Anthony Fauci said in private text messages with other federal health officials that the COVID-19 vaccine could “theoretically” pose a risk of miscarriage for pregnant women after the second dose. The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases noted that because “many people have a cytokine storm and fever after the second dose” of the vaccine, “this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.” The January 2021 text thread took place during the early weeks of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. A cytokine storm occurs when the body releases too many small proteins called cytokines into the blood too fast,

That’s part of the sport,” El-Sayed declared in a February 2023 podcast released shortly before the Super Bowl, according to The Washington Times.
