It's a big day for the Democrat Party - as four previous Presidents and their liberal celebrity friends descended on Chicago for the grand opening of Barack Obama's library.
The 43rd president's library hosted its opening ceremony on Thursday morning at the massive Jackson Park building in the city's south side , where Michelle Obama grew up, and where the couple settled before he entered the White House in 2009.
The campus, which officially opens its doors to the public on Friday, was flooded with prominent political figures and celebrities as a boatload of festivities kicked off to celebrate the big day. The Obamas, Bidens, Bush's and Clinton's

A Trump-backed pastor has dropped out of Oklahoma’s Republican primary after the Daily Mail exposed his intimate relationship with a campaign aide. Jackson Lahmeyer, 34, said in a statement: ‘After prayerful consideration with my wife, Kendra, and my team over the last twenty four hours, I’ve made the difficult decision to suspend my campaign for Congress. ‘I do not want to be a distraction to my family, my church, and

What took them so long?
Reports are surfacing that White House aides are suddenly alarmed over the likelihood that top secret conversations on national security were taped and leaked to the New York Times.
Axios quotes an administration source as saying that, “We’re afraid some of our most sensitive conversations were being recorded, and we have no idea which ones.”
The outlet also writes that, “We hear President Trump is furious about the blow-by-blow accounts.”
The president has every right to be furious, but he shouldn’t stop there.
Situation Room meetings are classified, and the mere possibility that details of conversations,

Senate Majority Leader John Thune admitted some Senate Republicans hate President Donald Trump too much to support the SAVE America Act, multiple sources familiar with the comments told the Daily Caller.
Thune admitted during a closed-door GOP lunch on Wednesday that some Republican senators oppose President Donald Trump so strongly that they will never vote for the SAVE America Act, regardless of the legislation’s merits, according to several sources familiar with the matter. The discussion quickly escalated into a heated exchange between Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee, the bill’s chief Senate sponsor, and several of his GOP colleagues. Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn and Thune both challenged Lee’s push

RedState reported earlier on the disgraceful warning Major League Baseball issued in the aftermath of three San Francisco Giants baseball players (pitcher Landen Roupp, along with relievers J.T. Brubaker and Ryan Walker) refusing to bend the knee to "Pride Night" by writing Bible verses on their rainbow-themed hats during their Friday game against the Chicago Cubs.As my colleague Rusty Weiss noted, these were "Bible verses, mind you, that explain the true symbolism of the rainbow—God's covenant with Noah, his descendants, and every living creature after the great flood." The verses were Genesis 9:12-16:

An "ultra-luxury" drug and alcohol rehab center nestled in the Hollywood Hills has hired former first son Hunter Biden as an adviser and executive director of its charitable foundation, a new gig that could help the convicted felon whittle down millions of dollars in unpaid legal bills and other debts.
Peak Path Health announced Biden’s hire this week, touting his "lived experience and professional insight" from his struggles with addiction to crack, alcohol, and other substances. "The announcement comes during a meaningful milestone in Hunter Biden's personal journey, as he celebrates seven years of sobriety this month," says Peak Path.

Luigi Mangione will assert a psychiatric defence in his state murder trial over the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare chief executive Brian Thompson, a judge confirmed at a hearing on Wednesday, as the case that captivated the world moves closer to its September trial date.
Mangione, 28, faces state murder charges in New York in connection with the killing of Thompson, 50, who was shot dead on the streets of New York City in December 2024. The killing sparked a days-long international manhunt that ended with Mangione’s arrest at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

President Trump’s deal with Iran has received a lot of flak from both sides of the spectrum for its supposed shortcomings. Is it a failure before it’s even finalized? No, but that won’t stop the angry backbiting over an agreement that looks like it could significantly weaken Iran’s ability to cause trouble in the Middle East.
Let’s be clear: If Trump’s deal leads to a non-nuclear Iran, a freer flow of oil to the global economy, and a more stable Mideast, that will be a net gain for everyone concerned.
For the record, no, we’re not entirely satisfied, either. We didn’t want Trump to give an inch to the mullahs.

President Donald Trump is going full speed ahead with his disastrous Iran deal, and that’s not good news for Americans, Israelis, Iranians, or anyone else. Fox News reported Wednesday that the Trump administration finally disclosed the details, which include “plans for immediate waivers on Iranian oil exports, a framework for at least $300 billion in reconstruction and economic development, and a 60-day negotiation period aimed at securing a final agreement on Iran’s nuclear program.”
Trump himself boosted the deal before the press on the same day, with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on his right and Secretary of State Marco Rubio on his left. Trump was in a particularly jovial mood and

Watching Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Watters take turns dismantling Jessica Tarlov's talking points on The Five is one of my not-so-guilty pleasures. But Tuesday delivered something even better: Vice President JD Vance stepped into the ring himself, and within seconds, he exposed a glaring blind spot in how the left thinks about loving your own country.
Tarlov tried to explain away a brutal new NBC News poll on American patriotism by chalking it up to simple political math. "Some of it is obviously partisan," she said, arguing that pride in the country naturally dips "when your party's out of power."
"I don't think that's right," Vance said.

Pennsylvania Democrats rushed anti-school choice legislation Tuesday, bypassing regular order and sneaking up on Republicans. They aim to strip 30,000 children of educational scholarships, pocket the children’s scholarship money, and cut public charter school funding by $500 million.
Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro was elected in part because of his promise to return educational choice to parents and families. Between the most recent budget proposal and an offensive “assault” on school choice, the governor continues to backtrack on campaign promises.
