Meet the New Socialist Congresswoman from

Amidst the ongoing conflict in Iran, a major political event took place in the United States on April 16, 2026, that deserves more attention and scrutiny than the mainstream media will likely devote to it. The event to which I refer to is the victory of Analilia Mejia in the New Jersey special election for congressional district 11. Mejia’s decisive win in the seat formerly held by New Jersey governor Mikie Sherrill should send political shockwaves because I think it is more than fair to say that she will likely be perhaps the most socialistic member of Congress. When asked if she would join “The Squad” shortly before the election,

In Congress, I will champion the Homes for All Act to build 8.5 million units of public housing over the next 10 years. That's insane. We squandered billions of dollars on public housing projects in the 1960s. Most devolved into high-crime poverty traps within a few years. In some cities like St Louis, the abandoned, trash-strewn lots where hulking Section 8 towers once stood are still visible - a quiet reminder of a terrible idea.

New Jersey has the highest real estate taxes in the nation. At least 15 years ago I had to go to NJ for business to a small town in Bergen County. I was talking to an elderly man about the town and he said that he would have to move from the house he had lived in for 40 years soon because even though he owned his 1800 sq ft home, the taxes were $22,000/year and insurance was over 2K/year (over $2,000 per month). He could not afford to stay in his house. I guarantee it has gotten worse. Why do you think they want to be able to deduct all their home taxes on their federal income taxes?

Apparently Chris Christie and Mikie Sherrill did not do enough damage in Joisey so they are going for stronger medicine. I can laugh now but must remember that they share a border with Pennsylvania, which is looking at socialism through a fragile window. I hope Texas has lots more space down there.

What a crock. These socialists talk like they can solve global problems such as poverty, war, alleged climate change at the local level---but they know they can't. They have to align themselves with other telegenic socialists so they can use their celebrity status to spread their false appeal of utopian equality. Kumbah (humbug) ya, and all that. It's a pipe dream about power, that's all. What's going on around the world is a fight between sovereignty and a one world government. It's that simple, and everyone's scrambling for position. The wild card is AI.

This loon doesn’t even mention her own district. The one she was elected to represent. She doesn’t care about them. She has loftier goals. From her use of the phrase ‘I will’, she seems to think she can single handedly confiscate the country’s wealth so it can be spent according to her socialist priorities. Ask the Mayor of New York how that’s working out. That’s one city and it’s broke. This trend will burn out as people see the real results. This doesn’t stop with the rich.

It’s remarkable how the real world always illustrates the Founders’ wisdom, graphically and undeniably. Take the current situation in Iran. It’s a country with a great history, full of intelligent people run by a bunch of backward, semi-human savages with a ridiculous apocalyptic theology that is so brutal it killed 30,000 or so of its own people a few months ago just to stay in power. And now it’s still in power, at least over its own people, despite the United States and Israel righteously devastating its conventional military capabilities. You can sync its navy, shoot down its Air Force, and smash its missiles; the power on the ground requires

They’ve unmasked themselves as lying, bigoted click-whores. Carlson’s career was longer; Owens’ was shorter. But for a brief, flickering moment in the 2010s, both were considered credible, trustworthy journalists and/or mainstream conservative “influencers.” Turning Pont USA and The Daily Wire boosted Owens; Carlson was the beneficiary of the (exceptionally) well-oiled NewsCorp PR machine. The Atlantic has a well-documented history of publishing fake hit pieces about President Donald Trump and his administration, and one wonders how many more hoaxes they can run before they get in real trouble. Its latest effort targeting FBI Director Kash Patel may be its most reckless yet — and this time, the bureau is fighting back with lawyers. The piece, written by reporters Sarah Fitzpatrick and Jonathan Lemire, claims that on Friday, April 10, Patel struggled to log into an internal FBI computer system while wrapping up his workday. He quickly became convinced that he had been locked out, and he panicked,

We are long past due for the kind of revival that sees thousands of people pouring into the streets, filling stadiums, and banging down church doors to praise their God. The video about the two gay dads and their baby, who keeps saying “maa-maa-maa,” isn’t bad for the reason people say it is—namely, that the baby desperately wants mommy, not daddy—although it’s still bad. However, when it comes to all the moral wrongs of surrogate parenting, there’s actually an even more disturbing video out there. Two points, before getting to the gay dads and their “maa-maa-maa” baby, one factual and one anecdotal. The factual point is that “maa-maa-maa” is the first sound almost all babies make. That’s why so many cultures have that sound in their preferred word for what a child calls its mother. Whether spoken with an American, English, Spanish, Italian,

The Seventeenth Amendment was ratified in 1913, during the height of the Progressive Era. Reformers argued that state legislatures had become hopelessly deadlocked and corrupt. Between 1885 and 1912, legislatures deadlocked seventy-one times over Senate selections, leaving at least seventeen seats vacant for entire sessions or longer. States went unrepresented in Washington, while lawmakers wasted months on partisan warfare. Scandals amplified the outrage. In Montana, copper baron William A. Clark admitted to spending the equivalent of millions in today’s dollars to buy his seat; the Senate refused to seat him. In Illinois, Senator William Lorimer was expelled in 1912 after evidence showed that four state legislators

MINNEAPOLIS — Restaurants across Minneapolis, from longtime neighborhood staples to newer concepts, are facing mounting financial pressure, and for some, the strain has already proven too much. In 2026 alone, well-known establishments like D’Amico and Sons and The Lowry have announced closures after years of serving the community. Industry leaders warn these losses are part of a broader issue. Hospitality Minnesota recently said restaurants statewide are nearing a “breaking point,” pointing to a mix of lingering pandemic recovery challenges, tariffs, immigration enforcement impacts, economic uncertainty, and new state policies such as paid family leave and rising minimum wages. Elkins, 31, opened fire at a home in Shreveport during a domestic disturbance, former Caddo Parish Constable Patrick Young told the Daily Mail. The suspect, who was fatally shot by police during a vehicle chase, is accused of killing eight children, with the youngest being just 18 months old, the Shreveport Police Department said. He was believed to be the father of some of the victims, police told KSLA. A total of 10 people were shot, with two women surviving the deadly rampage.

At least eight children — ranging in age from one to 14-years-old — were killed early Sunday in what police describe as a sprawling domestic‑violence shooting that stretched across four separate crime scenes in Shreveport. Shreveport Police Corporal Chris Bordelon told reporters officers were first dispatched just after 6 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of West 79th Street, where they located the initial scene. As officers canvassed the area, they discovered additional connected locations, including one on Harrison Street, all tied to the same domestic disturbance. Police said at least 10 people were struck by gunfire, with eight pronounced dead at the scene or shortly afterward.

Despite the best efforts of those who would utilize the preposterous climate change scare to control us and depopulate the world, petroleum still rules world economies. About 80% of all world energy is petro based -- it fuels industrial and agricultural production along with transportation. Constricting supplies causes all prices to rise -- the inflationary effects are well-known (except perhaps to the bright thinkers promoting net zero policies which are tanking their economies and immiserating their citizens). For this reason, foreign policy strategists, media pundits, and governments who listened to them for decades avoided attacking Iran, fearing worldwide disruption of a critical supply.
