The White House ballroom has run into some legal setbacks, which are far from resolved. But now we can report that one other procedural hurdle has been surmounted; the National Capital Planning Commission has officially approved the plans for President Trump's White House project.
The commission, which is led by Trump appointees, met last month to evaluate the plans and public comments, many of which were negative. Critics have blasted the project as "appalling," a "monstrosity" and "vulgar" in the public comments.
Will Scharf, the Trump-appointed commission chair, said he personally read every comment submitted to the commission and many of the negative ones were "unresponsive"

A federal judge has revoked the naturalized American citizenship of a Chinese couple who initially arrived in the United States on H-1B visas, after they were convicted of stealing medical trade secrets for China.
This week, Judge James E. Simmons Jr. entered an order revoking the naturalized American citizenship of Li Chen and Yu Zhou, who each pleaded guilty in 2020 to one count of conspiracy to commit theft of trade secrets and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
“Gaining citizenship after committing serious crimes against the American people is an unacceptable abuse of our immigration system,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement.

On Monday, the design for Donald Trump's future presidential library was unveiled. It's a stunning tower near the water in Miami, and the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation plans to raise nearly $1 billion to fund the project through the end of 2027. Some of the funding has already come from the massive settlements he's collected from fake news media outlets that have defamed him.
Well, it looks like he may have just found another donor.
The Daily Beast published one of the most deliberately deceptive headlines I’ve ever seen. And Trump’s lawyers should be all over this.
The headline reads, “New Evidence Corroborates Claims of Trump Sex Accuser, 13."

On Monday night, Eric Trump, the son of President Donald Trump, dropped a stunning new rendering of President Donald Trump’s future presidential library. And let’s just say: Subtle it is not.
The video, which he shared on X, shows a gleaming skyscraper rising over downtown Miami. It’s bold, beautiful, unmistakable, and very Trump. The building features his name in massive letters, evoking the signature style that defined his pre-presidential real estate empire. A spire at the top is light red, white, and blue, and an American flag hangs on the side.
It is a gorgeous building.

The Kansas Legislature has just handed the pro-life community in the state a huge victory by overriding Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly’s veto and signing into law a new bill that will protect pro-life pregnancy centers from state mandates (Snip) Before diving deeper into the story, I think it's critical to ask why radical leftists would want to limit available health care options for pregnant women, seemingly encouraging them to murder their pre-born children in the womb. Why is it a bad thing to have alternatives available for those who find themselves scared and pregnant but don't want to kill their baby? Something about that just feels pure evil.

There was a time not so long ago when the Democrats were formidable and — I'm not kidding here — occasionally enjoyable political foes. During the Tea Party years, we would often encounter Dem activists and hang out with them for a while. Sometimes we would even socialize. (Snip) Which is why they are up in arms about the building of a ballroom. This is from Sarah:
President Donald Trump has been having a great time building the new White House Ballroom in recent months, but anytime the president is having a good time doing something, a judge comes in and stops him.

It would seem pretty obvious that if you were going to threaten to assassinate the President of the United States, you probably shouldn't advertise your intent on Facebook. But that's just what a Great Barrington, Massachusetts man did, and now he's in the hoosegow, facing a list of federal charges.
Andrew D. Emerald, 45, was indicted by a federal grand jury on eight counts of interstate transmission of threatening communications. Emerald was arrested this morning and will appear in federal court in Springfield, Mass., at 2:30 p.m. today.
According to the indictment, from May 2025 to July 2025, Emerald intentionally made eight separate Facebook posts

What is going on in Fairfax County, Virginia? This is the third murder allegedly committed by an illegal alien in recent weeks.
In early March, 41-year-old Stephanie Minter was knifed to death at a bus stop by an illegal from Sierra Leone, and earlier Wednesday, I reported on the Guatemalan “undocumented person” who stabbed a man to death on Sunday.
Now, a man described as a “Virginia Father” who allegedly caused the blunt-force trauma death of his three-month-old baby is also revealed to be an illegal alien from Guatemala. All this is happening as VA Gov. Abigail Spanberger has rescinded deals to cooperate with federal immigration authorities,

European authorities are no closer to catching the thieves who swiped 12 tons of KitKat bars after stealing the truck that was transporting them from a Nestlé factory in central Italy to Poland last week.
The shipment consisted of special-edition Formula One-themed KitKats shaped like race cars, as part of the company’s relationship with the motorsport league. The heist has raised plenty of eyebrows around the world, with people questioning how such a bizarre theft could have happened. But it has also prompted something else: Jokes on social media.
Ryanair appeared to confess to the theft with an image of one of its planes chowing down on gigantic KitKat bars.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who has largely been disgraced following major Medicare fraud uncovered in his state, is still trying to stay relevant as he blasted the president’s decision to deploy Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to assist TSA at airports.
He went even further, spreading additional fear by speculating that the administration could deploy ICE agents to polling places during the 2026 midterm elections. [Tweet, video]
This is not normal. These guys aren't doing a damn thing," Walz said. "They weren't qualified to be here in Minnesota.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents aren't just saving our departure times at United Stats airports. They're also saving our children — and probably our backs and legs from having to stand in hours' long lines, but I digress.
According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), a father was standing in line at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Wednesday, holding his one-year-old baby, when the child suffered a medical emergency and stopped breathing and became unresponsive. DHS says that CCTV video shows the baby going limp in his father's arms, while the father panics and calls for help.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has revealed that a brother and sister from China are indicted in connection with an improvised explosive device (IED) placed at the base that serves as headquarters for U.S. Central Command, which is currently executing the Iran operation.
FBI Director Kash Patel posted his announcement on X Thursday, March 26. “An IED was placed at MacDill Air Force Base - home to CENTCOM and U.S. Special Operations Command,” Patel explained. “A brother and sister have now been indicted.” One of the suspects is in a foreign and hostile country, however, so he cannot be arrested at present.
