Some news stories are an IQ test. That was my initial reaction to a recent report claiming DNI Tulsi Gabbard was covering up a damning "whistleblower" complaint involving foreign intelligence and the Trump White House. As usual, almost the entirety of the left and their allies in the mainstream press didn't manage to break 70. To start, let's take a look at the original claim, as published by The Guardian on Saturday. Here was the wording before the paper amended it for "clarity," which we'll get to. Last spring, the National Security Agency (NSA) flagged an unusual phone call between an individual associated with foreign intelligence and a person close

Liars are always lying and often they quickly get caught lying. This puke of a lawyer looks like he's dressed up as a Soviet era secret police officer....or maybe an early 20th century anarchist bomber.

What are the odds that we would ever hear anything like an appy polly loggy from the off the chart leftists at The honorless, mendacious Guardian? How low can you go? The British press is just as worthy of professional extinction as our own.

The next shutdown 2 replies

I guess we’ll have another federal government “shutdown” starting on Friday night. Except it will only impact a single federal agency, the Department of Homeland Security. And not even all of that, as I understand that ICE and Border Patrol already have approved budgets. Congress worked out a full budget covering all agencies through the end of September. Republicans have already conceded much ground on spending, and everyone on both sides had already signed off on the deal. Then Senate Democrats, acting in bad faith, staged a revolt last week, leading to the current impasse. Democrats have provided a new list of policy demands

The problem was the show’s conceit: It was a message of unity, inclusion, and togetherness — in a language that 85% of the population doesn’t understand and cannot speak. That’s not unity. That’s division. Lo siento, Bad Bunny and/or the NFL, but the underlying metrics of the NFL’s Super Bowl halftime show didn’t make a lick of sense: Only about 14% to 18% of the U.S. population speaks fluent Spanish — which means, of course, that 86% to 82% do not. Only 14% of the NFL’s total audience is Hispanic. The number of Latinos/Hispanics who speak English exclusively is growing, not shrinking:

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) riots by Antifa and other activists since June 2025 may have now claimed what could have been the first killing tied to this anti-ICE operation in Portland, following a Friday-night drive-by shooting. Instead of using an actual gun, however, the angry shooter, a woman, used a reported non-lethal BB-type gun and shot at least one right-wing livestreamer in the face and arm multiple times. Others may have been hit as well. Since June 2025, local police have, in effect, stood down as Antifa agitators threatened, rioted, and attacked anyone entering or leaving the Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility near downtown Portland. President Donald Trump’s lawyers scored big on Friday when a Texas-based appeals court allowed officials to hold arrested migrants in detention so their migration cases can be quickly decided. “ENORMOUS Immigration win for President Trump,” said Eric Wessen, the Solicitor General in Iowa’s Attorney General’s Office. He added: The Fifth Circuit, the first federal court to address President Trump’s expedited removal efforts, sides with the administration. Illegal aliens may be detained and removed! The 2:1 decision “is a big deal,” said Ilya Shapiro, a lawyer at the Manhattan Institute.

One of the most important things a Republican president can do when they take office is to immediately set out to fulfill important campaign promises, to show the voters who elected them that they meant what they said. This is something Donald Trump did very early on at the start of the 47 era with the implementation of his immigration enforcement agenda. We're a little over a year into his second term in office, and even Trump's staunchest critics would have to agree that the southern border is 100x more secure now than it was when Joe Biden left office. Further, our streets are safer thanks to the immigration enforcement agents
Could It Be That the 2020 Election Fraud

The Left is beginning to panic about Tulsi Gabbard's investigation into the massive election fraud in 2020. They have good reason to. For the first time since then, I actually have hope that the fraud will be exposed for all to see. I would say that the evidence produced will be undeniable, but the left will always deny what they find inconvenient. But still, by the time Gabbard is done, a lot more people will believe what has been pretty obvious for a long time:

It looks like things have taken a turn for the better in Minneapolis. Last night, local police did some actual policing. They made arrests of some of the activists hounding ICE and they declared an unlawful assembly at one point. These are things they should have been doing all along but Mayor Frey had pulled them back putting the protesters directly in confrontation with the activists. Now it appears that that Tom Homan, who Trump sent to Minneapolis a few days ago. It looks like Homan and Gov. Walz might have worked out some kind of deal.

U.S. stocks surged on Feb. 6 in a stunning turnaround that saw the blue-chip Dow soar more than 1,200 points to pierce and close above the 50,000 mark for the first time ever. "The Dow reaching 50,000 is less about celebration and more about confirmation," said Gina Bolvin, president of Bolvin Wealth Management Group, in an email. "Markets have adjusted to higher rates, slower growth, and global uncertainty—and still moved higher. That tells us confidence is real, and 2026 will be less about the (Federal Reserve) and more about fundamentals." After steep losses earlier in the week, investors decided that the sell-off was overdone and returned to the market. A jump

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has made a move to secure the deliberations, private discussions, and working drafts of the court. According to the New York Times, Roberts is requiring all clerks and permanent staff to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The writer writes about this in a hushed tone, as though she is laying out the plot of a murder mystery. But there is nothing mysterious about the erosion of the court's integrity, which points directly to publications like the NYT and POLITICO happily disseminating what is leaked to them. The chief justice acted after a series of unusual leaks

In yesterday afternoon’s Wall Street Journal Best of the Web column, James Freeman asks the question: “Who watches the ‘ICE watchers’?” The answer to Freeman’s question is Christina Buttons/City Journal. Another answer to the question is not the Star Tribune. That much I can tell you. I’m afraid Freeman would include the Star Tribune publisher, editors, reporters, and columnists among “the incurious media” to which he refers at the top of his column. That does not do justice to the phenomenon. Ms. Buttons reports on what she found watching the ICE watchers

Tennessee has roughly 186,000 illegal aliens. California has over 2.2 million. We have absolutely no idea how many Californians are murdered, raped, assaulted, or victimized by illegal aliens, because Gov. Gavin Newsom refuses to track the data or share it with the federal government. It’s allowed Democrats to argue that illegal aliens are less likely to commit crimes than native-born Americans. Only it’s probably not true. Because, unlike California, Tennessee actually tracked its year-to-year illegal alien crime statistics. And what they discovered was shocking and appalling. From the Chattanoogan.com: 21,648 total criminal charges [against illegal aliens] in 2025 2,183 violent offenses 41 homicides 1,592 assaults 145 sexual offenses 11 child rapes

Fox News Digital obtained photos of Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who is facing increased scrutiny as the investigation into Nancy Guthrie's disappearance drags on, attending a matchup between the University of Arizona and Oklahoma State. Early Sunday morning will mark one week since Guthrie, 84, disappeared from her suburban Tucson home.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Seattle Seahawks used a dominant defense and the strong running of game MVP Kenneth Walker III on Sunday to crush the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX. It was the Seahawks’ second Super Bowl title in four appearances. It came 12 years after Seattle defeated Denver 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII -- a fitting nod to the 12th man that has fueled the energy at Seahawks’ home games. The game, before 70,823 fans at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, showcased a punishing, opportunistic defense by the Seahawks that rendered Patriots quarterback Drake Maye mostly ineffective all night.

A radical left-wing group in Los Angeles has published a shocking 40-page roadmap to transform the nation’s second-largest city into a bizarre socialist experiment. The Democratic Socialists of America’s LA chapter wants to straight-up seize private property through a “creative use of eminent domain,” take control of your neighborhood grocery store, and replace cops with unarmed social workers while shutting down jails. Their Communist fever dream wishlist includes banning Airbnbs, grabbing golf courses for public housing, allowing non-citizen immigrants to vote in local elections, enforce a school curriculum that supports social justice and eliminating all fossil fuel use by 2035. Donald Trump has called Bad Bunny's all-Spanish Super Bowl halftime show 'one of the worst ever' and a 'slap in the face' to America. Mr Trump was also deeply unhappy about some of the suggestive dancing because the Puerto Rican artist repeatedly grabbed his crotch and there were women twerking on stage (snip) ''It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence'.

Vonn's body struck a gate as she made her first big jump less than 13 seconds into her run, altering her momentum and direction, prompting a scary crash as she flung sideways and bombed out. The race was on hold for more than 20 minutes as Vonn was tended to on the course. Democrats push hard for every possible advantage in elections, but courts sometimes draw a line. U.S. District Judge William L. Osteen Jr. delivered a ruling that defined those lines by rejecting a Democratic demand for early voting sites on three North Carolina university campuses. His ruling carried an unmistakable tone of impatience toward a case that tried to dress political convenience as constitutional necessity. The College Democrats of North Carolina argued that without on-campus sites, students would need to travel off campus to vote, imposing time and transportation burdens on young voters. That's the premise Judge Osteen rejected, making clear that elections aren't built to require perfect comfort;

The attention of those less politically minded is focused on the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy -- always fodder for the would-be Colombos and Miss Marples -- and the Olympics. Yet this week saw some victories for the administration along with some serious unfinished business. The ousted dictator Nicolás Maduro seems isolated, depressed, and devoid of funds sufficient to hire teams of lawyers to defend him. Any claims he might have for immunity seem destined to fail. The evidence establishes he was born in Colombia; his claim falls because only a native Venezuelan is entitled to hold the office of president.

The uproar over the Trump video tells you more about the left’s narrative machine than it does about what actually happened. What they want you to see is “Trump posts racist monkey video about the Obamas.” What they do not want you to see is context, intent, or basic honesty about how the clip ended up on his Truth Social feed in the first place. Let’s get something out of the way: the post should never have been made, and whoever was responsible was careless for not previewing the entire video first. The original post from Trump’s Truth Social account was about voter fraud and election integrity, not about the Obamas.

The SAVE Act: Why Are Senate Republicans Dithering? 13 replies

In almost all midterm congressional elections, the President’s party loses seats in the House of Representatives. The only exceptions occurred in 1902, 1934, 1998, and 2002. This obviously means the razor thin Republican House majority — and thus the GOP’s governing trifecta — will be in considerable peril next November. This being the case, common sense dictates that certain crucial bills should be prioritized by Congress and sent to President Trump’s desk for signature post haste. Considering the insecure and chaotic manner in which federal elections are conducted in blue states, the SAVE Act clearly falls into the must pass category.
