Somehow it just had to happen in Minneapolis. Opponents of the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement efforts have been waiting for their martyr, and now they have one.At about 9:40 a.m. local time, ICE officers were engaged in enforcement activity and driving south in the 3300 block of Portland Avenue in South Minneapolis. When a protester, later identified as Renee Nicole Good, pulled her Honda Pilot SUV into the path of the agents’ vehicles and prevented them moving forward, two agents stepped out of their pickup truck, which was unmarked but had its low-profile emergency lights activated.

ICE agents had sufficient provocation to begin shooting months ago. Once the Street Weenies see that law enforcement is serious, most of the nonsense stops.

She was lauded as a kind mother of 3. She was also described as a "legal observer", Heere is that defiition: Legal observers are individuals, usually representatives of civilian human rights agencies, who attend public demonstrations, protests and other activities where there is a potential for conflict between the public or activists and the police, security guards, or other law enforcement personnel. The purpose of legal observers is to monitor, record, and report on any unlawful or improper behaviour. Legal or human rights observers act as an independent third party within a conflictual civil protest context, observing police behaviour in order to keep police accountable for their actions. Legal observers can write incident reports describing police violence and misbehaviour and compile reports after the event. The use of video and still cameras, incident reports and audio recorders is common.[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_observer A televised report last night said she had been driviing around the ICE agents "stalking them"

Recently SCOTUS ruled that in these cases one looks at the totality of the circumstances surrounding the cop's decision to use force. Part of that totality is the reasonable perception that a person means to do bodily harm with their vehicle when that MO has become common recently and the vehicle is participating in an action against the Leo. This was not just a routine traffic stop.

Will one of the hosts on any show on Fox News, Fox Business or Newsmax please ask one of the former Acting ICE director, or former government attorney, etc what an ICE Detainer is and what it means. These ICE detainers are not something new. In the years before DHS, when INS was under DOJ, they were called INS detainers. Most of the audience watching these news shows have probably never dealt with INS or ICE, etc and have no clue about these detainers. Instead we get questions like how do you think the ICE agents feel , etc - such crappy "journalism." The Left and their media allies frame these events as if Detainers are something new and illegal. They are not. Please see: https://www.ice.gov/immigration-detainers

College courses should focus more on “obeying law officers” than ways to skirt around “establish law”. The weapons carried by men and women of Federal and State authority are not mere decorations. The type of weapon carried on their hip is to protect the public as their first duty and the second is to protect themselves or their fellow officers from harm.

Ms. Good is a professional agitator who had been there all day, and bet wrong when she aimed her car at a law enforcement officer. She probably expected to get away with it, but caught a bullet in the face instead. Instant attitude adjustment. Would she want a mulligan on that? After her DRT (dead right there) performance, probably so. A car is definitely a potential deadly weapon, especially against people who are on foot. Seeing these organized protestors with their signs and their chants is infuriating. You don't wish these people well, because they're real insurrectionists, trying to start a civil war, and turn this Nation communist. The profane wussie Mayor Frey belongs in a mental hospital in a room next to Walz's. It might be necessary to build a wall around Minneapolis and call in Snake Plissken. That place is so gone. Democrats, Democrats. They completely ruined it.

Over the summer, a young DOGE staffer was viciously attacked by two D.C.-area teens. The perpetrators went before the D.C. Superior Court and were given probation and sent home. This is par for the course in the District of Columbia courts, which are a perennial mess. They’re a mess in large part due to far-left judges who are selected through a system that disempowers the president who appoints them. While this is a serious problem, there are some ways around it.

If you thought Democrats’ health care wish list consisted solely of continuing enhanced Covid-era Obamacare subsidies, think again. Over the holidays, Politico had a helpful reminder that midterm election campaigns are showing how the dreams of government intervention in the health care system go far deeper: A few days later, failed presidential candidate Tom Steyer claimed a Damascene conversion on single-payer as part of his campaign for California governor: “Bernie Sanders was right. We need single-payer health care. … In 2019, I didn’t think we needed single-payer health care.”

U.S. labor productivity accelerated sharply in the third quarter of 2025, rising at a 4.9 percent annual rate as workers contributed more output per hour worked, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Thursday. The figure substantially exceeded economist expectations of 3.6 percent and marked the strongest quarterly gain in two years. Combined with an upwardly revised 4.1 percent increase in the second quarter, the back-to-back performance suggests American businesses are adapting to tighter labor markets by investing in efficiency rather than pursuing the low-cost labor strategies that dominated much of the past two decades.

Sources tell The Post tech founders from major companies like Netflix, WhatsApp and the payment system Stripe are among the latest looking to flee the Golden State for Florida in recent months. The measure, which voters will decide on in November, would impose a one-time 5% tax on fortunes exceeding $1 billion and would retroactively apply to anyone deemed a California resident.

Finally, the United States will follow through on its NATO commitments. That’d be the cheeky interpretation of President Donald Trump’s announcement, via Truth Social, that he wants a US defense budget of $1.5 trillion next year. This would represent a stunning 50% increase over the current budget, and put US spending right around 5% of GDP — the target level that NATO counties recently adopted at Trump’s insistence. The details and follow-through will matter, but on its own terms, the Trump declaration is of epic significance. Such a historic defense build-up would meet the moment — it’s never made sense for United States to enter a period of heightened risk —
