The day after elite U.S. forces captured wanted narco-terrorist and former Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro in Caracas, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the Iran-backed Lebanese terrorist movement Hezbollah will no longer have operations in the South American state. The Iranian regime-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization is responsible for both the bombing of the U.S. embassy, which killed 63 people, and the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut in 1983, when 241 U.S. military personnel were killed.

Somehow it just had to happen in Minneapolis. Opponents of the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement efforts have been waiting for their martyr, and now they have one.At about 9:40 a.m. local time, ICE officers were engaged in enforcement activity and driving south in the 3300 block of Portland Avenue in South Minneapolis. When a protester, later identified as Renee Nicole Good, pulled her Honda Pilot SUV into the path of the agents’ vehicles and prevented them moving forward, two agents stepped out of their pickup truck, which was unmarked but had its low-profile emergency lights activated.

The woman fatally shot while allegedly attempting to ram her vehicle into Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Minneapolis on Wednesday found out what “FAFO” means.
Marxist Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey should also face consequences in the form of swift prosecution and arrest for inciting violence against the federal law enforcement agents he just told to “get the f– out” of the city he appears prepared to turn into 2020 2.0. Same with disgraced Democrat Gov. Tim Walz. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed a “violent rioter” was shot after she “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them”

A new video angle of the deadly shooting by an ICE agent in Minneapolis appears to show the driver of the SUV strike the the officer with her car before he opened fire through the open window.
The wide-angled footage, which appears to have been filmed from a second-story window or rooftop directly across the street from the shooting, shows the deadly use of force from a different perspective as the local officials slammed the agency as “reckless.”The driver of the Honda Pilot, identified only as a 37-year-old woman, crashed her vehicle into a white car parked about 100 feet away after the shots rang out.

From May until late July, Greenland experiences 24 hours of daylight. In spite of that, there is so much about the world’s largest island which remains a mystery.
And despite the fact 80 percent of Greenland is under a 1.6-mile-deep ice cap, the place is currently hot. Since his return to office in 2025, President Donald Trump has made it very clear he wants the vast frozen land to become part of the US.
So eager is Trump to take it over that, according to the White House this week, “utilizing the US military [is] an option.”
But given almost the entire of the frozen island is uninhabitable, why?

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is waking up to a $18 billion budget hangover — and fixing it won’t be pretty.
After years of surpluses, the Golden State is facing staggering deficits that could balloon to $35 billion in the coming years, according to the state’s Legislative Analyst, after a years-long spending spree combined with federal funding cuts and a struggling economy.
Newsom — who’s expected to launch a 2028 presidential bid — unveils his plan to stanch the bleeding in a major speech Thursday. In it, he’ll posture as presidential while aiming to reassure cash-strapped Californians that he’s leaving leave the state in tiptop shape in his final year in office.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Wednesday that he will convene a special legislative session in late April to consider a mid-decade redistricting effort, which could give the GOP a boost ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
The Sunshine State governor explained that he will wait until the end of Florida’s legislative session – April 20 – to see how the Supreme Court rules in Louisiana v. Callais, a case set to determine whether a part of the Voting Rights Act that bars discrimination in voting systems is constitutional.

Despite Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro’s ouster, his regime still remains in power in some sectors of the country.
This is because of the Colectivos, pro-Maduro paramilitary groups that have been patrolling the streets “with motorbikes and assault rifles” (Kalashnikovs) to “stifle any dissent,” according to The Guardian.
The patrols have been stopping/searching cars and demanding access to people’s phones to ensure they haven’t expressed support for Maduro’s ouster by the U.S. Trump administration.
The Telegraph has confirmed that the Colectivos are operating as per “a government directive” from interior minister Diosdado Cabello, who’s been seen posing with them:

For decades, Vermont had a well-deserved reputation as one of the most 2A-friendly states in the nation. Permitless carry has been the norm there for decades, and despite the fact that Democrats routinely controlled the state legislature and governor's office, gun control bills found little support among lawmakers. That's all changed over the past fifteen years or so, and while Democrats haven't moved to repeal permitless carry they've enacted a number of new gun laws including a waiting period, Extreme Risk Protection Orders, universal background checks, bans on gun sales to adults under the age of 21, and bans on "large capacity" magazines —

Affluent progressives have the ongoing challenge of maintaining their wealth and status while keeping up appearances of benevolence and compassion. Regarding race, in post-WW II America, as the old use of intimidation by Democrats to manage black people receded, more subtle strategies were needed. These were mentioned by then Senate Majority Leader Lyndon Johnson (LBJ, D-TX) who, in discussing the 1957 Civil Rights Bill with Sen. Richard Russell (D-GA) said: "These Negros, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppitiness.

Will California Gov. Gavin Newsom have the guts to show up in Pacific Palisades on Wednesday morning, the first anniversary of the Palisades Fire, or will he continue to use victims as props for his political ambitions? That's the question on the minds of those who lost their small oceanside community as they prepare to memorialize those killed in the fires.Community groups have planned multiple events to commemorate the anniversary; the two largest are the White Glove Flag Presentation and Remembrance Ceremony, which will "commemorate the twelve Palisadians who lost their lives and pay tribute to the countless individuals and groups who are helping the community recover and rebuild,"

The left erupted in rage Tuesday when the Trump administration unveiled a new website that catalogs the truth about the Jan. 6 riot.
Unlike the Jan. 6 narrative peddled by the left, the website outlines inconvenient facts such as the Democrats’ own culpability in the security failures that precipitated the one-day riot.
The website also pays tribute to peaceful Jan. 6 protesters who were unfairly prosecuted and treated like insurrectionists despite proof that they didn’t even participate in the actual riot.
Responding to the unveiling of the website, CNN’s infamous fact-checker Daniel Dale predictably cried foul, calling it “fake history.”
