Try to run over an armed person and you'll likely get shot. Suicidal move to attack a cop with a vehicle. Predictable outcome. And the LYING mayor and LYING governor got out there screaming their lies before they had any facts....but facts don't matter to leftists. What matters is making your lies FIRST and LOUD.

Trying to kill a federal agent doing is job is actually what an insurrection is, in case anyone is wondering. The mayor, eager to hamper federal investigations that will inevitably put him in prison, is trying his hardest to turn this attempted murderer getting herself killed into a widespread revolt.

My first reaction was that lethal force was probably not required as she was not driving that fast. After some thought, I asked myself if the officer had not been able to get out of the way and was run over, would that change my thinking. Split second decision on the part of the ICE agent. Once again, all could have been avoided if she simply obeyed the law. Perhaps if she did not live in a city where the politicians vilify the cops and conservatives, none of this would have happened.

The Democrat machine in MN is already in full gear to prosecute the ICE agent. It doesn't matter what the evidence shows, nor what the ultimate verdict will be. Now they will have a distraction from the fraud news, and this distraction the liberal media will gladly run with for months and months. Despicable.

#18, driving fast isn't always a factor. I can speak with certainty. I was in a car accident as a passenger and was hit by another driver. She was at a stop sign and pretty much confused. It was not a four-way stop and she pulled out anyway only to collide with us. It did enough damage - $10,000 as it affected some of the electrical wiring components. Fortunately, where she hit was a few inches in front of the driver door so no injuries. With that said, there are several politicians or leadership people who are getting out the word that people should start ignoring government officials like the police, ICE, etc. What is it with Minneapolis? They must think they are the only city in the United States. . .

People in Iran’s capital shouted from their homes and rallied in the street Thursday night after a call by the country’s exiled crown prince for a mass demonstration, witnesses said, a new escalation in the protests that have spread nationwide across the Islamic Republic. Internet access and telephone lines in Iran cut out immediately after the protests began. The protest represented the first test of whether the Iranian public could be swayed by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, whose fatally ill father fled Iran just before the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution. Demonstrations have included cries in support of the shah, something that could bring a death sentence in the past —

The Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday rejected the latest US-backed offering to end the Russia-Ukraine war, issuing a blistering rebuff that threatens to blow up President Trump’s peace plan. A terse statement from Moscow’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs slammed the US-European proposal for security assurances for Ukraine, saying the protection plan amounts to “a true axis of war.” “The document turned out to be extremely far from a peace settlement. The declaration is not aimed at achieving a lasting peace and security but rather at continuing the militarization, escalation and further conflict aggravation,” the ministry claimed.

For days now, Democrats have been crying foul over Trump's capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro. Despite years of Democrats literally calling for Maduro’s ouster, the party has completely flip-flopped, calling it an illegal operation, a war crime, and, of course, an impeachable offense. Then, on Monday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced that his department has launched formal disciplinary proceedings against Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) over the November 2025 video in which Kelly and five other Democrats urged service members to refuse what they portrayed as “illegal orders.” As PJ Media previously reported, the department has already issued a formal Letter of Censure for Kelly’s “pattern of reckless misconduct,”

The security situation in Venezuela seems very fluid, as the new appointed president Delcy Rodríguez attempts to secure her position by making bold statements of independence, while simultaneously negotiating with the Donald J. Trump administration. In the meantime, the US is upping the pressure on Venezuela’s ‘hardline interior minister’ Diosdado Cabello, warning he will be at the top of the target list unless he cooperates. Diosdado Cabello, who controls security forces accused of widespread human rights abuses, is one of a handful of Maduro loyalists that President Donald Trump has decided to rely on as temporary rulers to maintain stability during a transition period, said one source briefed on the administration’s thinking.

Lately, I've seen a great deal of discussion about "high-trust" and "low-trust" societies. Some of that may be the result of the media I read, but more likely it is because people are reaching for language to describe something new to them. When everyday interactions feel brittle, surveilled, and adversarial, you do not need a sociologist to tell you something fundamental has shifted; you simply need words for what you already know.Years ago, I taught my children that if they were ever in trouble or lost, frightened, or hurt, they should not accept help from someone who approached them on the street,

After the United States military intervention in Venezuela, the Mexican government and analysts discounted the likelihood of unilateral U.S. military action against Mexican drug cartels, despite threats from President Donald Trump. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s administration has been complying with Washington’s demands and the economic ties between the two countries are vital, they say. Nonetheless, many expect more such threats as a way to extract more concessions from Mexico. No one dares rule out completely an unexpected move by the U.S. president. Sheinbaum downplayed the possibility of U.S. military action Monday. “I don’t see risks (of that),” she said. “There is coordination, there is collaboration with the United States government.”

The dead-of-night operation by U.S. forces in Caracas to capture leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife early Saturday left the world stunned, and heightened concerns in Denmark and Greenland, which is a semiautonomous territory of the Danish kingdom and thus part of NATO.

As one of the agents attempts to open the door, she quickly throws the car into reverse before trying to speed forward in the direction of another agent in her path.
