Administration to Ban Gender-Negating

Today Secretary Robert Kennedy announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will propose rules that will bar hospitals that receive Medicare or Medicaid funding—i.e., all of them— from performing “sex-rejecting procedures on children that expose young people to irreversible harm.” Banned procedures will include chemical treatments as well as surgery. While the proposed rules do not appear to be public yet, Kennedy’s Declaration in support of the rules is here. And this process implements President Trump’s Executive Order directing HHS to take such actions, among other things.

What if someone who can parse a sentence to be written in simple plain English, if it is a Yes or a No for all transgender surgery on patients from now on? The planets would still stay up in the sky (from Earth, that is!).

We recognize that gender-altering surgery on children is an especially evil affront to medicine. But neither are such procedures in adults any form of healthcare. Ban the use of public funds for anyone of any age for gender surgeries or treatments. Let these mentally ill folks find their own way to pay for what they want. I suspect that soon there would be very few places performing such.

Let's face it. Our Federal government is irreparably broken. It has become just a paper-shuffling (EO's and agency mandates) organization. There will be no common ground, now or in the future. I welcome actions like this, but see it as only evil in remission, not cure.

"Genitalia Butchery" is more apt terminology for this heinous violation of the Hippocratic Oath, via purposeful medical disfigurement. We have in this country a viral mind virus spreading among the nation's youth, ushering them into a lifestyle of sexual delusion and active rebellion against God for His choice of sexuality for them. Arrogance, especially of a sexual nature, can be, and often is, a one-way street from which there are no turn-offs, side-streets, or even parking lots. Once that fateful decision is made and medically executed, it's over; no 'reset button," no "reboot," no "reload the game" and avoid that path next time. One and done.

Urging a child to select his/her own sex is immoral and outrageous. I suspect a lot of witless, left wing parents like to brag at cocktail parties about their child "transitioning". No one under 21 should be allowed to have this hormone stuffed butchery because their parents urge it or at least allow it. If they still want to change their sex (impossible) at that age, allow this only as elective, cosmetic surgery and he/she or their parents can pay for it. Our health insurance premiums are high enough as it is. Pay on;y for cosmetic elective surgery with exceptions like disfigurement from an accident or necessary medical reasons such as pre-cancerous facial.growths. I don't want to pay for face-lifts through rising insurance premiums and whacking off body parts or breasts should be a felony unless you are an adult.

In political PR, the real story is the story behind the story. Take, for instance, President Trump’s primetime address. It aired Wednesday night; here’s a link if you missed it. Millions of Americans watched it live. But the real story was what happened behind the scenes. The TV networks don’t like forfeiting ad revenue — especially during the season finale of (gasp) Survivor, for goodness sake — and they expect a presidential address to feature breaking news. If you’re gonna preempt their precious marquee programming, you better deliver something salacious! Like war, pestilence, famine, and death. (You know, the good stuff.) The TV networks were expecting a galloping quartet of fast-breaking news.

New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani—whose reluctance to fully condemn the antisemitic slogan 'globalize the intifada' has already drawn fierce criticism—saw a top appointee resign after just one day when decade-old social media posts laced with anti-Jewish tropes resurfaced. Mamdani's ability to weed out Israel haters from his list of appointees is going to be difficult, given his close associations with individuals who share the same belief. Enter Catherine Almonte Da Costa. Da Costa resigned from her newly appointed role overseeing appointments and talent recruitment in Mamdani's administration, just one day after the position was announced.

Untold pixels have been spilled on the subject of illegal immigration, in the legacy media, the alternative media, and the blogosphere. President Trump was re-elected, in no small part, due to his promise to address the wide-open borders policy of the Biden years, and despite opposition at every step from the legacy media and Democrats (but I repeat myself) he's been doing that. But what about legal immigration? Some recent polling has revealed that a plurality of responders would like to see legal immigration reduced, or even halted altogether. Two-thirds of Republicans want legalized migration to be decreased or ended, says a new poll by YouGov. In contrast,

Democrats are sinking like a stone, and the new Quinnipiac poll makes it official: their congressional approval rating has hit a historic low of just 18%, with a brutal 73% disapproving. That's the worst number Quinnipiac has recorded since they started asking the question back in 2009. Even CNN's chief data analyst, Harry Enten, couldn't hide his shock, declaring that "Democrats, in the minds of the American public, are lower than the Dead Sea." The real kicker? Democrats are turning on their own party. Only 42% of Democratic voters approve of how their representatives in Congress are performing, while 48% disapprove.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was charged in a two-count federal indictment that alleges she obstructed official Department of Homeland Security removal proceedings and knowingly concealed the man from immigration authorities at a courthouse in April. Dugan was found guilty of obstructing federal agents and not guilty of concealing an undocumented immigrant from arrest during an April courthouse incident.

They already released one "person of interest" who they had briefly detained.
The Economic Comeback Under Trump Is Very Real 7 replies

When Donald Trump took the oath of office in January, he inherited an economic mess courtesy of Joe Biden — soaring inflation, record-high gas prices, and a cost-of-living crisis that had American families scrambling to make ends meet. As we close in on a full year of Trump being back in office, there’s no doubt that things are turning around. Inflation has been slashed by more than half, gas prices are plummeting, real wages are climbing, and the everyday expenses that crushed household budgets under Biden are finally moving in the right direction. Even job creation is happening for native born Americans, not foreign workers.

Inflation dropped in November, ending a monthslong acceleration of price increases and offering relief for households strained by cost hikes, government data on Thursday showed. The reading came in below economists' expectations. Consumer prices rose 2.7% in November compared to a year earlier, marking a notable reduction from 3% year-over-year inflation in September, the most recent month for which complete data is available. Inflation stands at its lowest level since July. The report offered the first look at price increases in nearly two months, after the 43-day government shutdown impaired data collection. Despite an overall reduction of inflation, some high-profile items like coffee and beef continued to soar in November.

Chris Whipple, a veteran journalist, producer and author with a career spanning the constellation of left-wing media — CBS’s “60 Minutes,” ABC, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, Politico, The Daily Beast, The New York Times, The Washington Post — has craftily framed the president’s chief of staff in a narrative of typical Trump-derangement fantasies. The wonder is that she let him do it. And there’s no doubt she did. Washington journalism veteran Mark Halperin on his 2WAY podcast says Wiles may have thought the 11 interviews Whipple said she did this year were off the record.
