Several community groups marched on Lake Street in Minneapolis to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in the state. (snip) Operation Metro Surge led to several confrontations between federal law enforcement after residents swarmed and sometimes disrupted ICE operations. President Donald Trump used several of his speeches to target the Somali community in Minnesota, saying he does not want them in the country.

Minneapolis has been taken for billions, not only them but the rest of the taxpayers, as this is FEDERAL MONEY, and stupid people come out and protest that illegals who take our money are being picked up by our government. Must be something in the water in Minnesota. Get those crooks out of this country. If anyone finds it necessary to support these crooks, they should leave with them! go, get out.

Illegals are not only eating up resources meant for Americans they are stealing what has not been nailed down. And these idiots don't have a problem with that? Not to mention the ones with rap sheets from their home countries and the one they started here. What is wrong with them? All of this behavior raises affordability prices they are crying about. You like them that much get on the plane with them when they are flown out of here. No need to have a "Little Somalia" in MN when the real one is just a plane ride away. Go away and leave us alone.

Shoot, criminals always protest the police. Defund the police, etc. It's a form of 'enlightened' self-interest.

Half of $18 billion in federal welfare funds, which supports 14 Minnesota-run programs since 2018, has been lost to fraud, Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson said during a press conference Thursday. People come from all over the world to steal millions from U.S. government Medicaid, housing, and other programs, he added. “Minnesota has become a magnet for fraud, so much so that we have developed a fraud tourism industry — people coming to our state purely to exploit and defraud its programs,” Thompson said. “This is a deeply unsettling reality that all Minnesotans should understand.”

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has agreed to hold elections if there is a ceasefire. However, eastern Ukraine citizens, those currently living in the Donbas region, who are supportive of Russia, will not be permitted to vote. This creates a rather bizarre official hypocrisy within the Zelenskyy regime. The official position of Zelenskyy is that Eastern Ukraine will never be accepted as a part of the Russian federation. Zelenskyy has recently noted, with EU leadership support, that his government will never recognize Eastern Ukraine as part of the Russian federation. However, this same region, approximately 20% of Ukraine, will not be permitted to participate in his controlled election.
