Last month, 12-year-old Ava Little committed suicide. Apparently, she did so because she was being chronically bullied at Byron Middle School, Peach County, Ga.
According to Little’s family, none of the school’s anti-bullying measures or guidelines was implemented, even as “other students targeted her over and over again.” The bullying began in fifth grade and intensified this year. According to Paige Day, Ava’s aunt, her parent’s tried to get the school to intervene, but Peach schools were “consistently underwhelming. They failed her 100%.”
In 2023, the FBI arrested two Chinese-Americans, Lu Jianwang and Chen Jinping, for operating a Chinese police station in Manhattan. [snip]
What is concerning, however, is that this is not an isolated case of serious infiltration. Nor is such activity limited to the U.S. alone. Safeguard Defenders, a Madrid-based NGO, has identified 102 Chinese police stations in 53 countries.
The audacity of operating police stations in other countries highlights how far China is willing to go to silence critics as it seeks global dominance in economic, military, and cultural fields. This ability was not built overnight.
England, one of the world’s oldest nation-states, has long stood as a symbol of continuity, tradition, and cultural propriety. From the consolidation of the monarchy to the expansion of the British Empire, it helped shape Western civilization, anchored in Christian heritage and legal principles (Magna Carta). Senators have reportedly reached a deal to end the exceptionally long government shutdown, though details have yet to be released. He’s an old-school communist who made no effort to cloak his Marxist bona fides behind the charade of democratic socialism, and secured a victory that we could see coming from a mile away.

This is a philosophical capture that will not result in transforming the United States but in the fracturing and demise of America’s oldest political party.

These characters are astonished that their stock of free speech clichés has been found inadequate to address the fact that several thousand Americans found it perfectly acceptable to relish the murder of a 31-year-old father of two, simply because he held the political beliefs of the median Republican voter.
In 1776, American colonists, despairing that their rights as British citizens were being trampled upon by their overbearing king, George III, decided to secede from the British Empire. Thomas Jefferson wrote down their grievances in the Declaration of Independence. Just a few of them include the cutting off of trade, imposing taxes without consent, depriving the people of trial by jury, suspending colonial legislatures, and waging war on the colonists. One never knows for sure beforehand, but I think Charlie Kirk’s assassination may be something of a tipping point in American politics and culture, or, at a minimum, an inflection point. Why? Because Charlie wasn’t a radical, he wasn’t a firebrand, he wasn’t a bomb thrower… No, Charlie was—in a relative sense—a lamb. And now, that lamb has been slaughtered.

Carville said, “You know who’s gonna turn on you? What’s left of the Republican senators. There may be 43 to 45 of them left. Now the House is gonna vote to impeach you. You’re gonna be impeached in 2027. These senators can’t stand you. These Republican senators, they can’t stand you. Illinois Democrat Sen. Tammy Duckworth sent a letter to the Transportation Security Administration on Friday demanding the agency rescind its "shoes-on" policy, according to a report.
In a letter obtained by CBS News, Duckworth called the policy a "reckless act" that may be placing flight passengers at risk.
Duckworth also warned that the policy was likely implemented "without meaningful consultation with TSA," citing an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security's inspector general that found it created a new security vulnerability in airport screening systems.

The Catholic News Herald, “Connecting Catholics in North Carolina”, bragged that the refugee case coordinator for the Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte, had been recently honored.
His name? Ashir Haji-Mohamed. The latter part of the name meant that he had made a pilgrimage to the Islamic holy city of Mecca.
Haji-Mohamed, a former Somali refugee, had previously been in the news for helping resettle Syrian Muslims, as well as Jordanians and Turks, in North Carolina. After the Biden retreat, Catholic Charities of Charlotte had also worked to bring Afghans to North Carolina.

The White House budget proposes cutting funding for the federal agency created after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks by $52 million and would require small airports to enroll in a program in which TSA pays for private screeners.
