“Trump’s Truly Sh*tty Economy” – Robert Reich. That’s how the diminutive former Clinton labor secretary put it recently on his Substack page, and it’s the message Democrats desperately want every American to hear. We have an affordability crisis! Real wages are falling!! Trump is making it worse!!! The recent elections show the depth of despair!!!! It’s true that Americans aren’t particularly happy at the moment. The TIPP Economic Optimism Index (TIPP is I&I’s polling partner) is lower today than it was in June 2020, during peak COVID mania. And just 34% give Trump an “A” or “B” grade on his handling of the economy

I am planning on having a cocktail party in the near future and I have reached out to Robert Reich to see if he is available for hire to wander around through my party with a cocktail tray strapped to his head with drinks on the tray so that my guests can help themselves to a fresh drink and place the empty glasses on the tray. Apparently Reich has been renting himself out for years as a drink server at parties taking advantage of his short stature to earn a little coin on the side. His reviews on Yelp are all outstanding although his pricing is a little on the high side. He has finally found his true vocation in life.

Yeah, Reich is a hideous troll but let's face it. Too many Americans know squat about economics. Like the idiots here in Virginia who voted for Ms. White Privilege who is all for 100% "green" energy so don't blame Trump when our gas and electric bills increase. Or her promise to make Virginia a sanctuary state so all the illegal aliens her can undercut the wages working class people (black, white and legal Hispanics). Or in less than one year, Trump has helped to reduce the costs of many groceries but four years of high inflation will not end overnight. Or how the Biden Admin was all into mass slaughter of domestic chicken and turkey flocks because of a naturally occurring virus known as Avian Flu. Gee, ya think eggs the price of eggs would increase then?

While it's true that the economy is strong and getting stronger, for folks on a fixed income high food prices continue to hurt and it's very doubtful prices are ever going to come down in a meaningful way.

49% of the respondents give President Trump a D or F on the economy? I would say that's the result of an over sampling of Democrats and Democrats posting as independent.

Although this economy is entirely the fault of Bidenomics and the dems we are nearly a year into the Trump Presidency and there’s still no relief for ordinary Americans. Yes, it takes time to undue 4 years of damage but all we’re seeing is Trump’s world tour and his global negotiations (which will benefit us down the road) while domestically we’re still drowning. Food is still ridiculously high to the point my house rarely eats beef anymore, energy is high, gas prices are still elevated, interest rates, housing and don’t get me started on drug prices and healthcare. Yes, we need to get our international ducks in order to make and keep us a power house but get something done on this economy at the same time. I can understand the frustration of other Americans because I feel it too and I’m worried this is going to cost us the midterm if we don’t see some kind of relief soon.

If the economy is bad (it is), it is the fault of Washington's out of control spending and government policy being for sale. They don't govern. Trump is the closest thing we have to someone that is actually trying to govern. F Washington.

Say what you want about Zorhan Mamdani – and we have said plenty— but he may actually be smarter than every other leftist Democrat on the planet when it comes to President Trump. First, some background. From the moment Donald Trump descended the golden escalator in June 2015 to announce his candidacy, Democrats have been trying to destroy him. They’ve tried everything. A manufactured Russia hoax. Two impeachments. Countless legal actions and massive fines. Relentless name-calling. Two assassination attempts. Each attempt was more desperate than the last,

American military attacks on boats in the Caribbean and Western Pacific carrying illicit drugs have created a furor in the media and within the Democratic Party. But that’s about as far as the rage goes: Most Americans support the actions and, if they fail, back further action against the governments that support the drug cartels, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. The online nationwide poll, taken from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31 by 1,418 adults, has a +/- 2.8 percentage point margin of error. I&I/TIPP asked respondents: “The U.S. military has been destroying boats in the Caribbean and Pacific carrying illegal drugs from

Before the global warming catastrophists held sway in our politics and in the media, we were warned that another ice age was in our near future. But that prediction was overwhelmed by fearmongers who have been telling us for decades that we’re burning our world with greenhouse gas emissions. Now we’re hearing again that the big freeze is coming. What do we do with this new information? Best just to ignore it, since predicting the future climate based on human activity is a narcissistic folly. In 1970, University of California, Davis ecologist Kenneth Watt pulled the alarm handle. The resignation of a pair of British Broadcasting Corporation executives over the manipulative editing of a video of President Donald Trump to suggest he incited the Jan. 6 Capitol riot is not the end of the BBC’s troubles. The Beeb has launched a probe to determine if its climate change coverage has been slanted. If the investigation is on the level, more resignations should follow. “The broadcaster has decided to review its climate and energy policy reporting after a string of controversies,” the Telegraph reported Sunday. “It has been forced to make a series of corrections, with some programs being removed altogether.”

By shutting down the government for more than a month to protect Obamacare, Democrats may have opened the door to its repeal. That would be a fitting ending to the failure they birthed 15 years ago. The Democrats’ entire justification for keeping the government closed was to force an extension of (temporary) enhanced “Affordable Care Act” subsidies added during COVID-mania, which they now claim will create an affordability crisis if allowed to expire. The irony might have been lost on Democrats, but President Donald Trump saw an opportunity to target this public policy failure once again,

If Republicans had any hopes of scoring surprise election victories on Tuesday, they were absolutely crushed. The loss was sweeping. In New Jersey and Virginia, the Republican candidates did worse than Donald Trump just one year ago. And in Virginia, Democrats picked up at least 10 seats in the state legislature. New York elected its most radical mayor in its history. Californians voted by an almost 3-to-1 margin to redraw the state’s districts to squeeze out five more seats for Democrats. All of these elections had one thing in common – they were akin to a primal scream about President Donald Trump.

Even amid endless high-profile developments in Washington, the Cracker Barrel rebrand stood out as offensive to Americans everywhere. The backlash was so severe that the company publicly slammed the brakes on their modern makeover and promised Americans they weren't changing a thing.

ABC News might soon find itself staring down another expensive defamation lawsuit from President Trump, and honestly, it wouldn't come as a shock. This wild accusation came without a shred of evidence tying Trump to Epstein’s criminal activities. In fact, Trump is arguably one of the few prominent figures who did the right thing and severed ties with Epstein years ago, unlike many Democrats who have since been ensnared in the fallout. What got a lot of talk on social media about was who was there - and who wasn't. Starting with the "who wasn't," President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance were not invited. Cheney and his daughter were big critics of Trump, and they supported Kamala Harris in her 2024 presidential run.

Since 2022, voters have been divided about which party’s candidate they would support.” This, even though those polled “place most of the blame for the shutdown on congressional Democrats.” Still, “six in ten [blame] either the President or the GOP in Congress.”
