The Justice Department’s prosecution of former FBI Director James Comey is facing death by a thousand procedural errors.
Federal judges overseeing the criminal case have increasingly raised concerns about the department’s efforts to investigate and indict the adversary of President Trump, from the evidence presented to grand jurors to the prosecutor who made the government’s case. Any one of the issues could do away with Comey’s charges before he’s ever put on trial.
“This is what happens when you try to make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear,” said Barbara McQuade, a former U.S. attorney.

No...This is what happens when you try to try a conservative case in deep blue Alexandria thinking you'll get better results than you would in DC! Are you serious! I KNEW this is what would happen! I've lived here thirty years and you'd have an easier time selling freezers to Eskimos.

He lied to cover up his part in the coup. He should not be allowed to escape justice.

Deny the case because an Interem Prosecutor brought the case? Why have Interem Prosecutors then? They are the Prosecutor for all intents and purposes. If the Senate would do it's job and actually confirm people this wouldn't be an issue. Comey's attorney is pulling out all of the legal tricks. Going after procedure rather than the substance of the charges seems to be working.

El Salvador’s Bukele has the right idea. That is, get rid of bad judges. Simple, no. Necessary? Absolutely. If theyre not going to apply the law correctly…flush ‘em.

In other words the Democrat appointed Judges will see to it that Comey and others get off scott free.

The lawfare conspirators at Brookings actually publish a Blog called Lawfare to which Barbara McQuade frequently contributes. More likely it is she and Comey's other cohorts who are "making do with a sow's ear." Comey went so far as to hire a special FBI employee to facilitate his leaks so it's hard to see how he didn't commit perjury when he denied leaking.

Just reading this article and most of the others posted, and reading through the Comments, the only conclusion you can come to is: we’re as corrupt as corrupt can be.
Money (re sports) and power (re The Swamp) have destroyed the Republic. Both gambling and greed were vices in colonial times. Now, they’re openly celebrated.
We’re done.

We know the odds are against Comey getting convicted in a Blue State, but if he has many sleepless nights and losing money hiring attorneys, it may be worth it to give a tiny bit of backlash of what he's done to President Trump.

The colossal absurdity of this situation:
We have an interim judge deciding the validity of an interim prosecutor,
If the other party is an attorney, all conversations are 'privileged.'
Federal agents are required to serve as judges over the legal validity of the evidence they collect.
Federal judges may dismiss Grand jury indictments over trivialities.
False testimony before congress is privileged.
Oh well.
Maybe they can indict and fry Comey's pillow talk partner.
Maybe the civil courts can bring justice.
Maybe they can challenge the 'with prejudice' aspect of the decision?
There has to be a way to keep Comey in court until he's bled dry.

This will be the case with every single deep stater indicted because the judicial system in DC and VA is corrupt with politicians in black robes. This is also on Roberts who hasn't done a thing to bring all the leftist rogue judges in line. It is these judges that will be the cause of a civil war if we have one when people see that there is no justice and the Left can operate with impunity.

Some good news is that the trial judge has stayed the orders of the magistrate judge. For a few days at least. Run up the fees.

Just wondering how many people actually stop to pray for providential guidance and help for good to prevail in this and all other issues where right is fighting wrong. Prayer is a powerful weapon. God answers according to His will, and we don’t always understand His purpose in some of the answers, but He always has a purpose and He always does what is right.
