Halloween is over, but there’s a scary atmosphere across college campuses, as revealed by Kamala Harris during a recent interview. According to Ms. Harris, her goddaughter, a junior in college, is experiencing climate anxiety, as are other students on campus. The angst is not surprising. For decades, the narrative of impending global climate catastrophe has trudged ahead nearly unimpeded through academia. Politicians and professional societies joined the steady march along the way. Mainstream media dutifully disseminated the descending doom. Yet now a broader, less frightening view of the climate is emerging with a perspective that challenges the climate story status quo. So are college student having anxiety because they were gullible rubes? Or did they make financial decisions based on these falsified projections of doom?

These "climate models" cannot replicate current conditions if given the conditions of a few years ago. They don't match the current temperature profiles of the atmosphere. The models are pure crap, missing massive portions of the information needed for any sort of an accurate model, filled with 'estimated coefficients'.....which are always 'estimated' to get the biggest possible future effects. All sorts of assumptions are made -- by folks who are ONLY FUNDED if they tell scary stories. If their models said "No big deal, everything will be OK", how much money do you think they'd get the next year, even if there was no political quackery? If there is no problem, then no more big bucks to study it, right? So, these "modelers" have a vested interest in telling scary stories to GET FUNDING. Like the great scene in the movie "The Right Stuff". From memory, one of the Original Seven astronauts is talking to another original astronaut, in front of one of the new crop of astronauts. "Wally, I bet this guy doesn't even know what makes rockets fly." "Hey, new guy, what makes rockets fly?" New guy starts in with a "fuel and oxidizer enter the combustion chamber where they burn, and produce high velocity gases which exit via the rocket nozzle, producing thrust." "Wrong, new guy, that's not what makes rockets fly. What makes rockets fly is FUNDING! And you better understand that our job is to help get funding. No bucks, no Buck Rogers." Yep.....FUNDING --- makes the climate models tell scary stories so that they can get more funding.

Yea, Climate Anxiety...which is actually a Self Absorbed Narcissistic Mental disorder. Take 1000 Tylenol and go to bed for 50 years to fix it! If that doesn't work just buy a BB gun and shoot yourself 1000 times!

Do none of these people ever watch scientific programs on TV that show towns underwater, roads underwater, buildings underwater? The earth is constantly changing and I imagine everywhere dry now will one day be underwater and things underwater will be dry. I've read that at one point you could walk across oceans there was so little water. The climate change hoax made a lot of money for AlGore. That's what it was all about to start with.

It used to be that Westerners could look eastward to the Soviet Union, China, and North Korea and pat ourselves on the back about how much freer and more honest the media was here than in those totalitarian states. Now? I am pretty sure that our "news" media could teach a lesson or three to our totalitarian rivals about how to spin the news to push a party line. The only difference here is that it is not the government that usually tells the media what to say or cover, but the media and the technocrats aligned with the transnational elites who shape public opinion for their ideological allies

WASHINGTON — Democrats are bracing for the possible retirement of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, one of the party’s most powerful, popular and effective leaders, who served as chief antagonist to President Donald Trump during his first term and has quietly counseled Democrats as they take on Trump in his second term. She is expected to make an announcement about her future after Tuesday’s elections, when voters will consider a ballot measure, known as “Proposition 50,” that would redraw the state’s congressional lines. Pelosi is a prominent proponent of the plan, which Democrats hope would net them several seats in next year’s midterm elections.

Arctic Frost was the code name under which the Biden FBI conducted a sweeping, illicit investigation of much of the Republican Party. Arctic Frost was intended as the basis for the criminal case that Special Counsel Jack Smith brought against Donald Trump, who was then out of power, relating to his efforts to “overturn” the 2020 presidential election. That case eventually was dismissed, deservedly so. On Wednesday, Senator Chuck Grassley, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, held a press conference at which he disclosed previously-unreported information about Arctic Frost: Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released on Wednesday 197 subpoenas that the Biden administration’s FBI used to seek testimony and documents related to hundreds

If you created a list of the worst people in public life during modern American history, John Brennan would be near the top. As CIA Director, the (allegedly) former Communist betrayed the American people to a greater degree than any other public employee I can think of. On Thursday, Brennan participated in some sort of conference, during which he was questioned by a guy who was in the office of the Director of National Intelligence and was involved in the intelligence work surrounding purported “Russian influence” in the 2020 election. The questioner didn’t get far, as Brennan just kept saying “bullshit,” even though what the questioner said was correct.

Canada’s conservative outlet Juno News depicts Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney as an incompetent, narcissistic leader who has done nothing to improve our country’s image on the world stage or to legislate for solvency and freedom of expression in the domestic realm. He is now at the helm of a faltering country that has little hope of struggling back on its feet. Indeed, it is hard not to suspect that Carney and his Liberals, like the sinister Democrats in the U.S., are driven by a double agenda against the welfare of their own citizens: to deprive them of their political rights and freedoms via legislative and policy initiatives

In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, everyone should be praying for rapid relief to many who suffered injuries or the loss of loved ones (at least 49 died), homes, businesses, and other property, likely to surpass $8 billion. At the same time, we can be thankful that losses were far lower than they might have been, since its path didn’t include areas with far more people and property. Having wrought havoc in Jamaica as a Category 5 hurricane, followed by Haiti, eastern Cuba, and parts of the Bahamas (all Cat-3), Melissa was on its way northeast into the open Atlantic, with Bermuda likely to suffer from it as well,

Some said Kirk shouldn't give Newsom the time of day because the governor was clearly trying to give off the appearance that he was more of a middle-of-the-road guy ahead of a possible 2028

The extended shutdown is raising concerns, particularly about funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and how it may be impacting air travel. Fox News Channel's Maria Bartiromo asked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Sunday if he thought the government would open this week, as the shutdown was "seriously impacting the U.S. economy." Cruz had an intelligent take on when it might be over, and why.

SNAP was slated for suspension on Nov. 1 when the federal SNAP funding mechanism ran out. An appropriation bill must be passed to fund it.
