In the labyrinthine world of American healthcare, few entities wield as much unchecked power as the American Medical Association (AMA). While the AMA positions itself as the voice of physicians, in reality it’s largely a government-sanctioned medical coding monopoly that extracts billions from the health care system and funnels it into leftist political advocacy supporting transgender pseudo-science, climate radicalism, and racial quotas in medical education and practice. It’s an arrangement that is not only anti-competitive but profoundly unfair, compelling doctors and patients to subsidize agendas they may vehemently oppose. Now that the Department of Government Efficiency has taken a well-deserved axe to the leftist nonprofit network living off government largess

The Epstein saga has always been a dark, twisted mess, with more questions than answers, but lately it’s become something even more convoluted. What should be a serious search for the truth has turned into a circus of hysteria, emotion, and half-baked claims. Nobody wants to excuse Epstein or his network of predators, but let’s be honest here, the way this issue is being handled right now is raising a lot of eyebrows One journalist, Michael Tracey, has taken a step back from the frenzy and started asking the hard questions that everyone else is ignoring. And he’s exposed some gaping holes and major

President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is terminating former President Joe Biden’s 2021 designation that gave Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan migrants living in the United States. This week, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced that the administration would end Biden’s TPS for nearly 270,000 Venezuelan migrants with no other legal status to be in the U.S. by September 10(snip) (USCIS) spokesman Matthew Tragesser said in a statement: Given Venezuela’s substantial role in driving irregular migration and the clear magnet effect created by Temporary Protected Status, maintaining or expanding TPS for Venezuelan nationals directly undermines the Trump Administration’s efforts to secure our southern border and manage

Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Mayor Bill Bazzi announced Friday that the new Arabic police patch was not “official” — but didn’t rule out adopting such a badge of surrender in the future. A Facebook post from the police department posted earlier this week read: “The Dearborn Heights Police Department [DHPD] is proud to share a new optional patch that our officers may wear as part of their uniform,” (snip) The patch, according to the post (which appears to have since been removed), “incorporat[ed] Arabic script alongside English” and was “designed … to reflect and honor the diversity of our community – especially the many residents of Arabic descent who call Dearborn Heights home,”

The Food and Drug Administration is going to soon release a report detailing an investigation the agency is conducting into deaths among children from COVID-19 vaccines, the agency’s commissioner said on Sept. 4. Dr. Marty Makary said that officials have been delving into reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), to which people, their doctors, or family members can submit reports of post-vaccination issues. “We do know at the FDA, because we’ve been looking into the VAERS database self-reports, that there have been children that have died from the COVID vaccine,” Makary said(snip) When asked how many, Makary said, “We’re going to release a report in the coming few weeks

It’s perfectly fine that people are raising questions about the legality of President Trump unilaterally ordering military strikes on suspected drug smugglers boating out of Venezuela. But the tell that Democrats and the dying media don’t genuinely care about constitutional integrity issues is in the way they talk about America’s raging, deadly drug problem as if it’s a matter of selling loose cigarettes. They don’t like the idea of confronting a very real problem, so instead they trifle with questions of legal authority. An “analysis” piece this week by The New York Times’ Charlie Savage is a prime example of the media feigning concern for legality while revealing that he

Former President Joe Biden has sparked health concerns after stepping out in Delaware with a large scar across his forehead. Have federal district judges peaked? Democrat judges, especially Biden judges, have been issuing insane rulings trying to stop President Trump from doing pretty much anything. These rulings are so bad that even Justice Kagan, hardly a Trump pal, was baffled by them. I’ve argued that these rulings are literal lawfare, there’s no pretense that these various blocks are even legal, they’re there to force Trump to go to the Supreme Court. And then the Supreme Court, especially its weakest man, Chief Justice Roberts to mull over what the cocktail party set will say and cringe over being accused of being a rubber stamp for Trump.

We’ve covered the story extensively—Donald Trump sees the ongoing, unthinkable level of crime and violence that goes on daily in the nation’s capital, decides to do something about it, federalizes the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), and deploys the National Guard. What happens? Crime plummets to levels not seen in years. If you’re a Democrat, however, you don’t like this for several reasons: 1) It makes President Trump look good, which you can’t stomach even if lives are at stake, and 2) you don’t actually care about crime and don’t mind seeing it continue in our nation’s cities. But it was Greta Thunberg–specifically, her haircut–that more than anything else, provided material for meme-makers. Here we go with this week’s collection:

The Joe Biden autopen fiasco isn’t over, and it never went away. It just went dormant for a bit, but we knew something was going to drop, and it has. President Joe Biden signed a trove of clemency petitions before he shuffled out of the White House. There are concerns that he wasn’t cogent or even aware of what he was signing. That issue presented itself with executive orders, as told by Speaker Mike Johnson. The mountain of clemency petitions was navigated by a shoddy chain of command among top Biden staffers, and again, it presented issues about whether Joe Biden was aware of what was going on

Was floating a ban on trans people owning guns just some basement-level idiot’s idea for “owning the libs”? In the wake of Robin Westman’s deadly Minneapolis rampage, some troll in the bowels of the Trump Justice Department reportedly proposed blocking trans people from buying firearms by declaring them all “mentally ill.” This, of course, is absurd as a simple matter of law: No rule that strips a (dubiously-defined) group of their Second Amendment rights has any chance of holding up in court. And if it did somehow survive, that’s an open invitation for future progs to create their own “mentally ill by definition” categories — deployable to limit lots of other rights.

WASHINGTON - The United States has ordered the deployment of 10 F-35 fighter jets to a Puerto Rico airfield to conduct operations against drug cartels, sources say, adding more firepower to intensifying U.S. military operations in the Caribbean that are stoking tension with Venezuela. The new deployment comes on top of an already bristling U.S. military presence in the southern Caribbean as President Donald Trump carries out a campaign pledge to crack down on groups he blames for funneling drugs into the United States.
