In the labyrinthine world of American healthcare, few entities wield as much unchecked power as the American Medical Association (AMA). While the AMA positions itself as the voice of physicians, in reality it’s largely a government-sanctioned medical coding monopoly that extracts billions from the health care system and funnels it into leftist political advocacy supporting transgender pseudo-science, climate radicalism, and racial quotas in medical education and practice. It’s an arrangement that is not only anti-competitive but profoundly unfair, compelling doctors and patients to subsidize agendas they may vehemently oppose. Thank you for posting this article which brings daylight to the AMA's corruption and left-wing bias. And daylight is the best disinfectant! The government should, after due process, strip the coding monopoly from the AMA and make it a public resource.

This now-retired physician quit AMA membership 30 plus years ago over political issues. I am certainly familiar with the CPT coding system but had no idea that the system is OWNED by the AMA! And the AMA having an exclusive financial guarantee by the Federal government is beyond disgusting. End this - NOW! Please!

The left has taken over all the professional associations, including those for doctors, lawyers, and accountants. It is disgusting to have the DEI, and other leftist ideology pushed into your email every day.

My Dad would tell me in the 1960's that the AMA was a political left leaning entity having nothing to do with medicine. It still applies.

I have often said that Russian dialogue is essentially different from Western dialogue in that Russian speaking is direct and without pretense. This difference is very visible when outlining positions built on pragmatic acceptances. Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin was asked about the status of negotiations with Ukraine. President Putin notes some of the internal political issues within Ukraine must be deconflicted in order for discussions to proceed. Without these issues resolved, discussion is futile.

But it was Greta Thunberg–specifically, her haircut–that more than anything else, provided material for meme-makers. Here we go with this week’s collection:

Was floating a ban on trans people owning guns just some basement-level idiot’s idea for “owning the libs”? In the wake of Robin Westman’s deadly Minneapolis rampage, some troll in the bowels of the Trump Justice Department reportedly proposed blocking trans people from buying firearms by declaring them all “mentally ill.” This, of course, is absurd as a simple matter of law: No rule that strips a (dubiously-defined) group of their Second Amendment rights has any chance of holding up in court. And if it did somehow survive, that’s an open invitation for future progs to create their own “mentally ill by definition” categories — deployable to limit lots of other rights.

It doesn’t matter what is in this documentary or if anyone ever sees it. It will not finish off Trump. Here is why: I spent the last year examining the six major “lawfare” cases against President Trump in between his two presidential administrations, and the E. Jean Carroll case was easily the most absurd on its face. Key details: in 2019, advice columnist and former Saturday Night Live writer E. Jean Carroll wrote an account in New York magazine alleging that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her in a Bergdorf Goodman department store dressing room in 1995. Or maybe it was 1996. She can’t exactly remember.
