When Halal Food is the Only Choice

In 2015, then-Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, opening wide the doors of her country to close to a million overwhelmingly Muslim immigrants, assured her countrymen that “Wir schaffen das!” or “We Can Do This.” (Snip) In the highly affluent city of Gelsenkirchen, it is abundantly clear how far public institutions have already progressed in adapting to Islamic principles. Several state schools there have completely converted their meals to halal – with no alternative options for “non-believing students.” (Snip) Starting next school year, all students there will only be served what Allah and his believers consider halal.

Comments:

When are the Germans going to stop playing their guilt game? Aren't all the perpetrators of the Holocaust dead by now?

In my local Safeway here in Virginia (just outside northern Virginia), there's a line of chicken (so far that is the only meat I have sen) from a company that promotes meal as all natural, etc and if you look closely enough. It says Halal with the Arabic word/symbol for it. Nope - not going to buy it. And a few years back, the editor (another one of those elite, while liberal women) of a local lifestyle magazine was bragging about how there is even a Halal slaughterhouse in the town of Warrenton. Gee - aren't we progressive. Gag.

I like 12's idea about the bacon bits, but might even carry it further. A small jar of bacon grease smeared on door knobs, table edges, sink knobs or wherever seems fun, then start a rumor that cant be traced back that it was done. Say you heard it in the gym shower or the restroom or whatever. Then, when the furor dies down, wait a couple weeks and do it again. Well see how good of a Muslim kryptonite this stuff is.

Europe is in a recession directly as a result of the bone-headed policies. “A Small European Nation Has a Big Explosions Problem,” a New York Times story recently reported. The story clarified that the small nation was the Netherlands, it never did clarify who was behind the over 700 bombings so far this year.Saying it out loud would have been impolite. European nations, small and great, have all sorts of mysterious unexplained problems that they never used to before. The Netherlands has a rash of bombings. In the UK, acid attacks are up 75%.Much like the bombings in the Netherlands, none of the news stories clarify why a phenomenon associated with a whole other part of the world had migrated to the UK.

President Joe Biden allied his Department of Agriculture with liberal activist groups to register Americans to vote and staff polling locations, potentially in violation of federal law, according to a memo shared with the Daily Caller. The practice has since been undone by President Donald Trump, who directed his administration to conduct a review of the Biden administration’s federal get-out-the-vote programs. Biden signed an executive order in March 2021, rescinded by Trump in March 2025, which required federal agencies to register and mobilize voters. Under Biden’s order, the USDA partnered with the American Civil Liberties Union and Dēmos, a left-wing public policy advocacy group, to implement the president’s plan,

In recent years, I’ve sometimes invoked Rudyard Kipling’s The Gods of the Copybook Headings, usually when something goes wrong because people did something obviously stupid. Well, to be fair, that’s the main subject of the poem: how being entranced by popular but dumb ideas leads to destruction. But there’s another side to it. When you do things that are simple and obvious — and, often, traditional — you can do pretty well. And we’re seeing that illustrated, at home and abroad. At home, the allegedly insoluble illegal immigration problem is being solved, via the simple and obvious, and traditional, approach of policing the borders and deporting people who are here illegally.

In reality, he had an enduringly good idea that would have saved the rapidly depleting U.S. Social Security system just as it saved Chile's, and made every saver in the U.S. richer. But the left demonized it without a hearing, (Snip) Now President Trump has picked up the torch.

In all the hoopla about the One Big Beautiful Bill, one provision went completely overlooked—but that provision is now primed to usher in the rebirth of the great American car. Back in 1975, in a panic over the Arab oil embargo and phony predictions that the world was running out of oil, Congress passed the Energy Policy and Conservation Act. That bill gave government bureaucrats the power to set “corporate average fuel economy” standards for cars sold in the U.S. Under the rule, if all the cars sold by an automaker in a given year failed to meet the government’s miles per gallon target, the company would pay massive fines.

Have federal district judges peaked? Democrat judges, especially Biden judges, have been issuing insane rulings trying to stop President Trump from doing pretty much anything. And then the Supreme Court, especially its weakest man, Chief Justice Roberts to mull over what the cocktail party set will say and cringe over being accused of being a rubber stamp for Trump.

That issue presented itself with executive orders, as told by Speaker Mike Johnson. The mountain of clemency petitions was navigated by a shoddy chain of command among top Biden staffers, and again, it presented issues about whether Joe Biden was aware of what was going on

Backed by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence, and linked to global jihadist networks, including Al Qaeda, Jamaat-e-Islami's move comes just months after a coup that brought Muhammad Yunus to power, triggering a rapid rise in radical Islamic influence. This development threatens not only Bangladesh's fragile democracy but also poses a strategic security risk to South Asia and the wider free world.
