Donald Trump has never been one to shy away from a fight, but this time, he’s done more than just rattle the Democrats—he’s practically handed Republicans the keys to a midterm landslide in 2026. The playbook was simple, the execution flawless, and the results devastating for the opposition.
Here’s what happened.
When Zohran Mamdani, the antisemitic socialist, won the Democratic primary for mayor of New York City, many Democrats were less than thrilled. Last month, the Associated Press reported that his victory “exposed anew the fiery divisions plaguing the Democratic Party as it struggles to repair its brand nearly half a year into Donald Trump’s presidency.”

Don't count the ballots before the election. What PDJT 2.0 did is masterful, but there's more than a year between now and Nov. 2026. A lot can happen between then and now. We have to keep opposing DemoRoids and publicize who they are and what they stand for continuously.

Don't forget the "Big Red Wave" forecast for 2022; it was more of a Pitiful Puddle.

Would that it were so simple. They are Refublicans for a very good reason. The fub up every opportunity given to them. The DeMS-13 are in utter disarray and have nothing to fear. The Refublicans are always dependable to screw up even certain victory.

And Dems keep tripling down on their losing hand. Endless polling shows that illegal alien deportation is well above 55% in support, and that people want tax breaks. And yet Dems keep saying that we need to let the illegals run loose and increase taxes.
Hard to understand.

I agree with Matt (I almost always do). Trump trapped the Dems, and honestly, I don't think they had much choice but to walk right in to the trap.

Trump opened the door. But will the stupid Republicans walk through? Or are they busy tying their shoelaces to each other?

President Trump is giving MAGA a chance to get rid of some of the vermin in Washington. Those irritants from KY, SC, NC, GA, Tx, etc. It's time to herd them up and move them out, but we have to do it and not depend on Mr. Trump to do it for us.

That one is a pretty easy call to make. Nowadays 50% +1 is a landslide.

I follow a guy on Twitter, Matt Von Swol. He’s a self admitted lefty turned conservative after seeing the pitiful response from the biden administration after Helene in his native North Carolina.
He daily posts his frustrations with the Republican Party frequently asking if they’re stupid. Why yes Matt they are.

If the Loony Leftists had not attacked Donald Trump right out of the starting gate, he would have completed his first term and retired to enjoy the rest of his life. They thought they were throwing darts at a Wildebeest but he turned out to be a Lion. Big, huge mistake.

I think the cuurent leadership at the RNC is quite a bit different than what we saw during "the big red wave" debacle of 2022.

Good governing wins when if follows bad governing.
After some time passes, good governing is taken for granted and the comfort provided gives liberals time to think up cockamamie schemes. Conservatives are busy working and ignore them.
Rinse and repeat.

Trump is portrayed as a master strategist when all he has to do is take positions which are legal, logical, constitutional and within the purview of the Executive Branch--pretty easy. His greatest strength is not withering under liberal attacks.

To ensure a landslide in the mid-terms, one ad will do it. Show the video of “Dollar Store Obama”, aka Hakeem over and over with the caption”. “…do you really want this a Speaker of the House and 3rd in line to the Presidency.
I think not!
