The Supreme Court partially allowed President Donald Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order on June 27 in a decision that said universal injunctions likely exceed courts’ authority. The 6–3 decision didn’t offer a final ruling on the constitutionality of Trump’s attempt to limit birthright citizenship but instead focused on whether three nationwide injunctions blocking the policy could stand. The majority of the court said that “universal injunctions likely exceed the equitable authority that Congress has given to federal courts.” (skip)More specifically, the court said that the Judiciary Act of 1789 had not granted courts such broad authority.

The Leftist TDS sufferers can not beat Trump on a level playing field or with an unmarked deck so they are dragging out every dirty trick that they have held in their pockets for years. We the people will not stand for it. Buying a law degree does not make one a judge. Getting passing grades in law school because you checked a DEI box does not make one a judge. You should say "sides with the Constitution." Trump was always right about those judges but carefully let them step in their own doodoo until they were legally and officially put down. They should not only be overridden but lose their positions of trust forever.

Senators met yesterday for a subcommittee hearing to discuss claims that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), foreign donors, and leftist legal activism are behind a “systematic campaign” to dismantle American energy dominance. Throughout the hearing, Chairman Ted Cruz, R-Texas, emphasized how foreign funding and activist litigation are undermining U.S. energy infrastructure, posing a national security threat. His four Democrat colleagues repeatedly dismissed the concerns as a “conspiracy theory,” instead focusing on energy costs and “global warming.” The “assault by the radical left,” “paid for by the [CCP],” seeks to “seize control of our courts [and] to weaponize litigation against U.S. energy producers,” Cruz said. It’s a complicated dynamic, but not so complicated that we cannot understand the motives. Prior to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard taking office, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence had no problems with the DNI office. However, with DNI Gabbard now stretching her wings to diminish the CIA, suddenly the Senate seeks to control the DNI. Tulsi Gabbard had been shrinking the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) since she took office; from 2,000 to roughly 1,600 and dropping. SSCI Chairman Tom Cotton now wants to cap the office staff at 650, sending the remaining intelligence community operatives back to the CIA and

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell made a quiet but extraordinary admission on Tuesday: if the Fed were following the actual data, it would be cutting interest rates. But it isn’t—because the Fed expects President Trump’s tariffs to raise inflation, and it’s choosing to act on that forecast instead. “If you just look at the basic data and don’t look at the forecast, you would say that we would’ve continued cutting,” Powell told lawmakers. “The difference, of course, is at this time all forecasters are expecting pretty soon that some significant inflation will show up

What I discovered a couple of years ago is that, while different trucks drive around collecting blue and green cans on garbage day, at the end of the shift, the trucks dump all the garbage into the same landfill. The case was an appeal of a district court order issuing a “universal injunction” against President Trump’s executive order seeking to abolish “birthright citizenship.” Birthright citizenship is the kind you get if you’re born in America even if your parents are here illegally. As RedState reported, the Trump administration scored a major victory on Friday after the Supreme Court ruled that district court-level nationwide injunctions exceeded judicial authority. That will throw a wrench into the left-wing strategy of seeking universal relief in a select few left-wing jurisdictions across the country and hopefully return some actual balance to the separation of powers within the U.S. government. Of course, while the decision was a victory for common sense and for voters who would prefer judges not overstep their bounds to essentially operate as president, it was a defeat for Democrats who have relied on that abuse to remain in power even when they lose.
