The United States Capitol Police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt during the events at the Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, reportedly received preferential treatment from the law enforcement agency after Democrat lawmakers applied pressure. Internal emails reveal that House Democrats leaned on U.S. Capitol Police to provide extraordinary financial and professional support to Lt. Michael Byrd, the officer who fatally shot unarmed protester Ashli Babbitt, according to Just the News.

Sounds like Byrd was paid off by Democrats and Capitol Police to keep quiet about what really happened and as cover for their complicity in the J6 disturbance.

The way Byrd has been treated is extremely, even obviously, suggestive of a cover-up. Police shootings always require investigations and complete explanations. A bonus after such a shooting, especially when the victim is unarmed, smacks of conspiracy especially when Speaker Pelosi, a Shakespearian villainess if there ever was one, is giving orders.

why would HE get over $50k from a "Memorial fund for officers KIlled or Wounded in the line of Duty"? On top of the fact that he never sat for an actual official interview, or inquiry post shooting. Every question went through lawyers, no face to face, no swearing in, no video He shot an unarmed, 5'2" female, military veteran, from ambush...with no warning or verbal commands at all. Even though there were numerous tactical squad officers, fully kitted up in Kevlar, helmets, assault weapons at ready, within 5 feet of her, immediately behind her..in his line of fire.

He wuz black and utterly incompetent. Left his gun in the bathroom. Should have been thrown out then and there. But a black guy shooting a white woman, not a big deal. The marine in NYC should get a medal, but the creep who threatened the people on the subway is suddenly the 'victim' of a white man. Right. I prefer the marine on a train any day, but I would not want this black jackass even with me on a train ever. He is incompetent and a danger to others, but of course the dem trash needs to cover his dirty black tracks.

Ashli was fully outside that broken glass door pane, perched on the back of a tall young man whom she had asked to lift her so she could see the Speaker's Gallery. Byrd stepped out and shot her without warning. She fell backward off the man's upper back. Had her head been through the hole in the glass she'd have been decapitated as her body dropped onto the still fixed shard at the bottom of the pane. The hole was npt large enough for her to climb through. There was no investigation.

I believe many people are wrong about Lieut. Byrd. He isn't a cold blooded murderer. He was an incompetent officer promoted past his abilities. He was frightened and stupidly pulled his weapon and fired on Babbit in his panic. No thought of killing her---- just scared shtless. His usual job of opening the doors and kissing the asses of incoming Congress members was about his limit of functionality. When faced with the job of a real police officer he panicked and shot this lady. He is IMO guilty of manslaughter and should have been removed from his position. The promotion to Captain and reward funds was a Democrat cover-up probably thought up by Nancy Pelosi who is also incompetent and should be re moved.

President Joe Biden is commuting the sentences of roughly 1,500 people who were released from prison and placed on home confinement during the coronavirus pandemic and is pardoning 39 Americans convicted of nonviolent crimes. It’s the largest single-day act of clemency in modern history. The commutations announced Thursday are for people who have served out home confinement sentences for at least one year after they were released. Prisons were uniquely bad for spreading the virus and some inmates were released in part to stop the spread. At one point, 1 in 5 prisoners had COVID-19, according to a tally kept by The Associated Press.

Climate scientists recently discovered that they’ve been underestimating the impact of a particular organic compound in the atmosphere, and the oversight’s significance is so profound that it’s left existing climate models completely obsolete. As Jo Nova writes, “This is so big, it may change the sacred ‘climate sensitivity’ of the whole Earth”. Isoprene is what’s known as a volatile organic compound, or a VOC, and “has a recognized role in protecting plants against many abiotic stresses” like “heat stress…drought…[and] oxidative stress” with trees being the greatest emitters. (When the chemical isoprene interacts with other compounds in the atmosphere, the products are a number of secondary organic aerosols.)

As far as Hamas leaders are concerned, the involvement of Iran's other proxies in the Jihad against Israel has been insufficient. Hamas leaders were hoping to see Arab and Muslim armies march on Israel and fulfill their dream of replacing it with a jihadist terror state. Iran already occupies three Arab countries – Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen, and until last week, Syria as well – and has brought nothing but death and destruction to the people there.
