Why the West Wants Israel to Stop Winning

Western powers, often suppliers of advanced weaponry to Israel, are pushing the Jewish state to stop fighting Hamas and Hezbollah. Why? You would probably laugh. Orthodox Jews do not use electronic or electrical devices during the Sabbath and holidays. Smartphones, computers, and the like are generally turned off with the entry of a holy day and only turned back on when the day goes out the following night. So what happens when Israel assassinates Hassan Nasrallah or kills Yahya Sinwar on one of these days? Orthodox Jews are still curious people, even if their internet-connected devices are off.

Follow the $$$. In war, the builders of war machines get rich. The current War Machine Conglomerate which includes DC critters, want the Israeli-Islamic conflict to continue, so they can make tons of $$$. Let Israel end the menace, and there is no more $$$. It's not rocket science, it's the $$$ of war.

Years ago, when I started working in a hospital that served people in a predominately Jewish area, every Friday, there was one elevator that was set aside to function and serve those of the Jewish faith. It stopped on every floor in the seven-story hospital regardless of what floor one wanted to get off on. One learned very quickly that if one was in a hurry to avoid that particular elevator.

No, it’s not “the economy, stupid,” in spite of the schizophrenic stock market since our remarkably resilient capitalistic economy ran head-on into the socialist-cum-communist Biden-Harris regime, with its $1.8-trillion deficit. And no, it’s not domestic policy, where we have had the luxury of being on the receiving end of these: High taxes. High food prices. High gas prices. Sky-high regulations. Alarmingly high crime rates throughout the country, particularly in states run by Democrats, where arrests are few, bail is nonexistent, and raging criminals enjoy no consequences for their assaults, rapes, murders, racist attacks, etc. Eleven million illegal and unvetted aliens are further draining our economy thanks to the largesse of this regime,

You knew news organizations would be making calls to professional lip readers after Joe Biden and Barack Obama were caught having a frank discussion at the funeral for Ethel Kennedy this week. The late Mrs. Kennedy passed away on October 10 at 96. Her funeral was another event where politicians, friends, and family would gather, and like most scared Democrats, some discussed the 2024 race. With death organs blasting in the background, Obama and Biden seemed beyond dispirited about the Kamala Harris operation, with the former president bluntly saying that Biden’s gal simply isn’t strong enough to win this election.

Former President Trump has taken a narrow lead over Vice President Harris in pollster Nate Silver’s prediction model just weeks out from Election Day. While the race remains essentially a toss-up, Trump now leads Harris by just more than half a percentage point, 50.2 percent to 49.5 percent, in the model updated Thursday afternoon. “However nominal, it’s Trump’s first lead in our model since Sept. 19,” Silver wrote on his Silver Bulletin site. The political forecaster noted that Harris was leading Trump a day earlier by about a point, 50.3 percent to 49.4 percent. The former president picked up ground with “some good polls” entering the database Thursday,

Much has been made, as it should have been, about the stark differences with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and the once-great NASA’s pathetic woke-DEI-politically correct existence. Musk wins on merit, but in California, that’s not what counts. So Musk has been vilified because he dared to leave the progressive plantation. SpaceX has been launching rockets from the Vandenberg Air Force base in Santa Barbara County for more than a decade. It wants to increase the number of annual launches from six to 36, and maybe even more. The Air Force has no problem with the plans. The California Coastal Commission does. It voted 6-4 last week to block the increase.

The Jewish vote is, for the first time since Reagan beat Carter 44 years ago, likely to be close. Considering that Hillary Clinton garnered over 70% of the Jewish vote in 2016, and Trump less than one-fourth, this is a tectonic shift in Jewish allegiance away from Democrats. But it’s not hard to understand why even Jews with leftist leanings are reevaluating their loyalties this year. As a community rabbi, director of a popular Jewish study center that attracts Jews from all backgrounds, and an officer of the largest rabbinic public policy organization in America, I am very well acquainted with local and national Jewish thought.

As the latest polls Sunday showed Donald Trump and Kamala Harris neck and neck with just 23 days to go until the presidential election, Democratic spinmeisters are trying to calm the bedwetters, and Barack Obama has been dispatched to scold black men for not being impressed by his protégé. But as uncomfortably close as this election is, one thing is certain: Tim Walz has to be the worst VP pick on record, in stark contrast to JD Vance. If Harris loses, her self-indulgent decision to reject popular Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro in favor of a running mate even dumber than she is,

Revolutionary Guards commander Esmail Qaani, commanding officer of Iran's crack Quds Force, has not been seen in public since the September 27 air strike that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Media sources in the Middle East have conflicting accounts of General Qaani's whereabouts. However, several sources report that he's under investigation for his ties to Israel. The Arabic-language al-Arabiya network reported that Mr. Qaani “is under surveillance and isolation, following the Israeli assassinations of prominent Iranian leaders.” Another report from Sky News says that Qaani suffered a heart attack while being questioned about the recent spate of intelligence failures in Iran.

Former President Barack Obama on Thursday admonished Black men reluctant to support Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, suggesting some aren't rallying behind her because she is a woman. Obama's stern remarks, delivered to supporters at a Harris campaign office in Pittsburgh, came as polling shows former President Donald Trump, the Republican 2024 nominee, has made slight inroads with Black males, particularly young Black men. Democrats also worry about signs of lagging Black turnout next month even as the country could elect the first Black woman president in U.S. history.

Nearly 450 7-Eleven stores across North America are closing for underperforming, according to the company. Seven & I Holdings, 7-Eleven’s Japan-based parent company, announced in an earnings report Thursday that 444 7-Eleven stores are closing because of a dip in sales, particularly cigarette sales, as well as decreased traffic and inflation. A list of which stores will be closing was not released. 7-Eleven has 13,000 stores across the U.S. and Canada, which means the closures would only impact 3% of the company’s portfolio. The convenience store chain has faced six consecutive months of traffic declines, including a 7.3% dip in August.

Between 2017 and 2019, just about the only story Washington cared about was whether Donald Trump would be nailed by the Justice Department for treason. After all, he had worked with Vladimir Putin and his cronies to win the White House, hadn’t he? And yet, at the end of a three-year investigation into this supposed collusion, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team charged no American with conspiring with Russia to influence the election. His final report said the investigation “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

If elected, Mr. Trump, 78, would be the oldest president in U.S. history by the end of his term. “Along with his intentions, there is also a question of his competence,” Obama said. “He’s giving two, 2 1/2-hour speeches. The network had agreed that there would be no fact checks and no interruptions, yet the partisan duo proceeded to do exactly that. In fact, Trump was fact-checked at least five times, while Harris was left to say whatever the heck she wanted (much of it lies). Perhaps the most infamous moment came when Muir, using his most arrogant, self-important tone, interrupted Trump on crime statistics. Washington— The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s 2020 election interference case made public Friday a heavily redacted trove of documents that provide a small glimpse into the evidence prosecutors will present if the case ever goes to trial. The nearly 1,900 pages of documents collected by special counsel Jack Smith’s team were initially filed under seal to help U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan decide what allegations can proceed to trial following the Supreme Court opinion in July that conferred broad immunity on former presidents for official acts they take in office. On the campaign trail this month, former President Donald Trump has repeatedly vowed to “close the federal Department of Education” and expand school choice — a wildly popular concept that cuts across party lines, new polling shows. Good news: If he wins the White House again, he can do both. The federal Department of Education is an unconstitutional waste of time and money. Its very existence arguably violates the Tenth Amendment: The word “education” appears nowhere in the Constitution. The federal government has spent well over a trillion dollars on K-12 education since the department’s inception, while failing to improve student performance.
