Michigan and Wisconsin, two key battleground states, declined to remove former Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name from their general election ballots this November despite his requests and withdrawal from the race. Kennedy announced last Friday that he was suspending his presidential campaign and would endorse former President Trump. He said he would seek to remove his name from the ballots in states that could theoretically determine the outcome of the election but would keep his name on ballots that are either solidly Democrat or solidly Republican.

Not surprised by Michigan. Nessel, Benson, and Wrethen Gritmer are no fans of the law, fairness, or the people.

Reasonable people who might have voted for RFKj will vote for Trump. Unreasonable people still have a choice between Herass and RFKj. Hopefully they choose RFKj

Then, go actively campaign for DJT where he'll likely have decent crowds he can influence to vote for President Trump.

Kamala’s Stolen Working-Class Valor 11 replies
Posted by Mercedes44 8/30/2024 6:32:11 AM Post Reply
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has been found guilty of puffing up his military record to look more manly – also known as stolen valor. Now it looks as though Kamala Harris has committed her own version of stolen valor by claiming a working-class medal that she may never have earned. Harris and her campaign have been bragging about her modest roots and her supposed connection to working-class folks, exemplified by her having toiled at McDonald’s while in college, a claim she repeatedly makes in her speeches and that came up countless times at the Democratic National Convention.

Vice President Kamala Harris doubled down in her first interview since ascending to the top of the Democratic presidential ticket that she would not ban fracking if elected, claiming she made "clear" where she stood on fracking during the 2020 election. "No, and I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020 that I would not ban fracking. As vice president, I did not ban fracking. As president, I will not ban fracking," Harris said. Before Harris dropped her bid for president in 2019 and joined President Biden’s ticket, she said in a CNN town hall "there’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking"

The House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed the company that employs the daughter of Juan Merchan, the New York judge who is overseeing former President Trump’s hush money trial. The subpoena escalates a brewing battle between the panel’s Subcommittee on Weaponization of the Federal Government and the company, Authentic Campaigns, which previously rebuffed lawmakers’ demands to turn over any communications the company had with Merchan, noting they simply don’t exist.

While at times it’s been hard to pin down just what Kamala Harris stands for – somehow she’s both a tough prosecutor and an advocate for defunding the police – she is at her core a hard-left progressive. But her campaign team, which includes the mainstream media, is putting in the extra hours to recast her as a centrist. Don’t fall for the lie. In the weeks following her party coronation, never-received-a-vote-outside-of-California Harris has been presented to voters as a “sober-minded centrist.” Other media outlets and personalities have eagerly covered her fundamental transition. She no longer opposes fracking.

How quickly our views evolve! A few years ago, when Elon Musk was giving millions in support to Barack Obama, Democrats thought he was just fine. Now they see Musk as a racist, a danger to the world order, and a threat to Democrats. The left was already upset with Musk for purchasing Twitter (“X”), and for allowing the Orange Menace et al. to air their views on that website. Recently, Musk did three more things that rankle Democrats: he re-posted a meme that makes fun of Kamala Harris; he talked with Trump for two hours in a conversation seen by millions on the “X” platform; and, most dastardly,

A shocking partisan switch is underway in the stratosphere of the tech titans: The industry known for its wokeness is betting big bucks on a Republican. The "mainstream" media messaging machine spent the whole Democratic convention channeling the notion of "reintroducing" Kamala Harris to America, relying on the assumption that vice presidents are only seen and not heard. For all the journalists who suddenly want to channel the same aspirational biracial narrative that marked Barack Obama's march to the White House, we must note that these autobiographies can be heavily shaped and edited, which is why the word "reintroduction" should land like a brick. Obama's "autobiography" was riddled with fictional elements, even composite girlfriends.

Stunning new video shows what a proposed glitzy $12 billion casino complex in Hudson Yards will look like while walking the High Line. The animated rendering of the ambitious Manhattan project by Related Companies and Wynn Resorts is partly aimed at countering opposition from advocates of the High Line park and other critics who claim the plan would be too intrusive and obstruct views. The video tries to make the case that the proposed complex — including a 5.6 acre park and spacious greenery between and around the buildings — actually blends in well with the High Line and the waterfront.

It’s really not Jack Smith, so we should drop the pretenses. Mary McCord, Norm Eisen and Andrew Weissmann have recrafted a new DC indictment against President Trump by dropping around 10 pages of fraudulent evidence from the prior indictment and labeling it a “superseding indictment.” The 36-page indictment is available HERE. Essentially, after the supreme court decision on immunity, the majority of the previous case against President Trump was likely to fail, so Mary, Norm and Andrew went back and modified the previously lawfare to fit a narrower scale as requested by the supreme court.

Did you catch Kamala Harris's first "interview" as the Democratic Party nominee for president? It was pretty much everything you'd expect from an interview conducted by CNN. Lots of softball questions, lots of word salad responses. CNN anchor Dana Bash actually asked some decent questions, but what really struck me about the interview was that Kamala Harris, more often than not, avoided answering most of the questions, and Bash didn't seem to be concerned with getting an actual answer. You knew things were going to be bad when Harris really struggled to give a coherent answer to the cliché question about what she would do on "on day one."
