The United Nations is “terrified” at the prospect of a second Trump presidency, according to a leaked conversation with a senior official at the global agency. “I’m not sure the United Nations is going to survive a second term from Donald Trump,” Jorge Paoletti, an associate legal officer at the UN Office of Legal Affairs in New York, told an undercover reporter from podcaster Steven Crowder’s Mug Club.

The UN should first have to pay all its parking tickets to NYC. That would balance the budget for several years.
Then, tear the building down to the fourth sub basement, ship it to the middle of the Atlantic, and dump it.
Then the UN should move to somewhere who wants it, like Zurich, Davos, the Hague, Hell, just not here.

They want to have an identity, a global identity. Well, they do. It's an anti-U.S. identity and to the extent that it is a big proponent of a global warmi... er.... climate change agenda, it's an anti-science agenda.
Who needs that?

And they should be. In fact they should be afraid of any President who has the best interests of the American People at heart.

The first thing that struck me while reading this was the entitled, oblivious attitude of this Jorge Paoletti, crying salty tears about how he fears that Trump will end the UN gravytrain. He thinks its alright for the US to lag economically for the sake of 'leveling the paying field' . Some rich irony though at the end, Jorge fears the US won't follow stricter regulations about CO2 emissions...but fails to mention that-regardless of the US response-the Chinese will never be able to match it in 100 years either. Why can't you grow your own economy without penalizing someone else's, Jorge?

The UN has a lot of company. Every organization in the Western World that is useless, is supported by forced taxation and preys upon millions of people with the intent of enslaving them, should be running scared right now.

Let the Billionaire Class of Globalists "fund" the U.N. I bet they would be WAAY less tolerant of cost overruns, projects behind schedule, employees abusing their expense reports and fraudulently charging time on their timecard. The U.N. is a worthless operation, so how exactly have they had the where with all to strongarm entire nations into adopting their insane leftist policies? The U.S. acts just like the man who blindly pays for his own assassination.

Good grief, get a grip and knock off the hysterical drama queen act. It's like they imagine as soon as an Electoral College majority for Trump is reached, he'll sprout horns on his head and start feeding his detractors to his supporters.

Probably because the United States is letting all those other countries get away without paying their membership dues, especially when Trump won the White House and made all of them pay their overdue back dues they weren't paying.

The UN was a good idea in theory. It's an unmitigated disaster in practice.
The UN has become nothing more that a bondoogle to destroy Israel and bankrupt the US.

What are they so scared of? If they were doing the work they’re supposed to be doing and doing it fairly, there would be nothing to be afraid of. The fact that they’re so scared only proves how useless and corrupt they really are.

The poor, terrified UN better move its headquarters to Equatorial Guinea, or some other African garden spot, pronto. Bonus for the high-living "diplomats" will be that they probably won't have to worry about parking tickets there.
Not the United Nations, it's the more aptly named United Mud-hut Nations.

While I would like to get us out of the UN and would also like the UN to get out of us. there is a lot of lovely marble in that unholy heap! I'd hate to see all that marble flung into the East River. It was such a grandiose idea when first proposed nearly 80 years ago. I did the obligatory tourist thing and visited the building in 1963. Bought a pack of fancy-smancy recessed-filter cigarettes at the UN. It is easier to quit smoking than to get out of the UN, I betcha!
