Financial services company TIAA is closing its Denver offices at a building that has become a prominent feature of the city skyline — with the financial giant’s logo emblazoned across the top. The company said this week that it will leave Denver in July 2026 and relocate to its new headquarters building in Frisco, Texas, according to an August 6 letter sent to employees. Other articles state that 1,000 jobs will be lost to TX. Downtown Denver will soon look like the old west Ghost Towns.

Denver did it to themselves. Sanctuary City, full of illegals; open-air drug markets, homeless camps with people defecating on the sidewalks; crime out of control; governed by Democrats. I haven’t been to downtown Denver in several years; when I go to Denver, I am always armed, Way to go, Denver. Embrace the suck.

TIAA is the $TRILLION$$ dollar Teachers Union Health and Retirement fund, largest ag land owner in California, largest vineyard land owner in the world, 2nd largest property management company in the world. They are big players in Las Vegas casino shops. Last time I looked they were ranked between Caterpillar and Oracle on Forbes 100 largest corporations list, yet are still treated as a "Non-profit" organization, ...but....that is somewhat better than them being totally Tax Exempt, as they were for decades..

Please leave your liberal ideas north of the Texas bordrr. As my dear sweet native Texan born wife says, we need a border wall in Texas. On its north, east and westetn sides. I've added a cattle guard around Austin to keep the liberals we have corralled.

My job sent me to Golden, CO., and I visited Boulder, Estes Park, and the Continental Divide when I was there. It was pretty nice, except Boulder was full of spoiled Lefties..... and that was 35 years ago. Never got into the main part of Denver.

In what may be a surprise blow to Democrats' chances of holding a key red state seat in the U.S. House, Alaska Lt. Gov. Nancy Dahlstrom announced Friday she is suspending her campaign for Congress. Dahlstrom was in what was essentially a three-way race with incumbent Democratic Rep. Mary Peltola and Republican Nick Begich III, who comes from a prominent political family in The Last Frontier. A California baseball stadium featured in the Hollywood blockbuster “A League of Their Own” was destroyed by a fire late Thursday, officials said. The Jay Littleton Ballpark, in Ontario, California, went up in flames about 11:30 p.m. and is a “a total loss,” city spokesperson Dan Bell said. The cause of the fire is not known, but investigators are on scene, he said Friday, adding that the stadium’s grandstand was wooden and likely burned very quickly. Losing the ballpark, which was designated a historic landmark in the city in 2003 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in

US job growth during much of the past year was significantly weaker than initially estimated, according to new data released Wednesday. The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ preliminary annual benchmark review of employment data suggests that there were 818,000 fewer jobs in March of this year than were initially reported. Every year, the BLS conducts a revision to the data from its monthly survey of businesses’ payrolls, then benchmarks the March employment level to those measured by the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages program. The preliminary data marks the largest downward revision since 2009 and shows that the labor market

Michigan Gov. We know that Kamala Harris is going to be focused on building up more affordable housing. We know that Kamala Harris has already delivered on making sure that health care is more accessible and affordable for Americans and will protect ObamaCare,” Whitmer, a co-chair of the Democrats’ campaign, said about criticism of the

A financial analyst I follow on Twitter/X, Robert Sterling, says everyone should calm down about Kamala’s grocery price controls idea. It’s actually worse than you think. Here’s his expectation from his Twitter column: People need to stop overreacting about Kamala’s plan to reduce food inflation, as if it would lead to communism, mass starvation, and the end of America. I worked in M&A in the food industry. Here’s a step-by-step summary of what would actually happen: 1. The government announces that grocery retailers aren’t allowed to raise prices. 2. Grocery stores, which operate on 1-2% net margins, can’t survive if
