Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran by what the terrorist group said was an airstrike carried out by Israel early Wednesday morning as Iran’s Supreme Leader has vowed revenge.
Haniyeh, who was one of the most senior Hamas officials, was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s new president when he was killed, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced.
The Revolutionary Guards did not comment on how or who killed Haniyeh, but Hamas pointed the finger at Israel, stating the leader was killed “in a Zionist airstrike on his residence in Tehran after he participated in the inauguration of Iran’s new president.”

Now turn Khamenei into hominy. There's nowhere to hide from the IDF. Terrorist savages are on the menu. Good shooting, guys.

Did Ayatollah Ali Khamenei make that statement from his underground bunker? Sleep well supreme leader, you might be next. Best to avoid sunlight.

Whats with Moslems vowing revenge? It must be how they assert their masculinity when they arent beheading their wives or mutilating their daughters genitals'. They seem to threaten death and destruction every time the paper boy is late or the toast is burned.
These people are not credible. I moved out of that sewage lagoon in the mid 1970's and hoped I was done with them forever. But like herpes, they keep coming back.

Hamas and Iran are one and the same.
Israel should go ahead and make war with Iran instead of fighting them on the periphery.
Their first move should be to remove every Mullah they can find.

Why wasn't the Hamas leader with his fellow Palestinians in Gaza? His living away from the people he was supposedly leading shows that cowardly Hamas leadership just uses the people of Gaza as owns in their political hate game to destroy Israel. Too bad the Palestinians in Gaza are too stupid to see that.

Better take that revenge sometime in the next couple of months, El Supremo, because your time in the saddle is rapidly dwindling down.

There is no word how the IDF delivered an airstrike in Tehran. F-35s perhaps?

Pretty slick job. Killing the leaders, no matter where they are is a good message, and perhaps a good deterrent.

Thank you, Jimmuh - - for stabbing our ally the Shah in the back - - and installing the murderous tyrant mullahs in charge of Iran.
Forty-five years of international brutality and mayhem - - thanks to the Peanut (Brain) Man.

Let's see.....the Iranians fired 300+ missiles and drones of every kind that they had at Israel. Few even made it to Israeli airspace, and I think one Arab girl was injured as the entire casualty list.
Israel uses ONE strike (likely one missile) to take out one particular terrorist leader, one shot, one kill.
Gee, which leaders will sleep comfortably in their beds at night?

Says a lot about the Russian highest and best air defense systems. Iran had the best the Russians make, especially in Tehran.

Message to Iran that the next payload dropped on Tehran, roughly 1,000 air miles from Tel Aviv, may very well be nuclear. That would also prevent a wider war in the ME that the Biden administration pretends must be avoided, while winking and blowing kisses at Iran and its proxies who are dedicated to a wider war of their own creation. The only thing Biden has dropped on Iran are huge crates of cash.

This maybe the one job where a replacement is going to be very difficult to find. Hamus does not have a backup for this position

Re #10, sounds like a good guess. F-35 has the stealth so that with proper mission planning, which I am confident that the Isrealis can do very well, and the aircraft will stay far enough from any known radar systems to not be detected. The weapons are carried internally, and the weapons bay doors are fast cycling...like 3-4 seconds, because the stealth is lost with the weapon doors open.
Also, there are precision cruise missiles that have the range and are stealthy, too. Could be an F-35 going most of the way, stealthy cruise missile the 'last leg'. Hard to say, but now the Iranians know that the Israelis can do it and they can do nothing about it.
