Former President Donald Trump has supported school choice and has said "parents must have a voice in their child's education."

The difference between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in November could not be clearer when it comes to education.
Trump believes parents are the primary decision-makers for their children and supports the money following the child to the school that best meets their needs and aligns with their family’s values.
In a May Truth Social post, President Trump said, “School Choice is the CIVIL RIGHTS ISSUE of our time, and parents must have a voice in their child’s education! When I am your President again, I will protect Parental Rights, support Teachers,

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is pushing his state’s university system to look into former University of Florida (UF) President Ben Sasse’s expenses in the wake of reporting from a student newspaper on the subject.
“We take the stewardship of state funds very seriously and have already been in discussions with leadership at the university and with the Board of Governors to look into the matter,” Bryan Griffin, a communications director for DeSantis, said in an emailed statement sent Thursday to The Hill.

Zelensky also said that Ukraine has captured more than 80 settlements in the Kursk region, which his troops advanced into on Aug. 6.
“I thank every warrior of ours who ensures all this,” Zelensky said in a video address.
Russian officials disputed that Ukraine had taken complete control of the town, with Maj. Gen. Apti Alaudinov, head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry, going on national television.
“There are still some of our formations remaining in Sudzha,” Alaudinov said, according to state-run media.

In this presidential election year, it is time to do the math.
Not the traditional math of counting electors, calculating swing states voters, or debating polling data. No. It's time to do the math regarding the profound and stunning increase in the number of new citizens who will be eligible to vote in this year's exercise in democracy.
According to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) the fiscal year 2022 saw one million new citizens sworn in, citing it as the highest number of naturalizations in nearly 15 years.

Representative Clay Higgins is a member of the congressional investigative task force looking into the assassination attempt by Thomas Matthew Crooks against President Trump. Rep Higgins was also doing independent research prior to his appointment to the congressional committee, and he released his preliminary report findings today [SEE HERE pdf].
There are some remarkable revelations in the 6-page pdf. One detail outlines how it was a Butler County SWAT officer who fired the initial shot that stopped Matthew Crooks after 8 shots fired. The Feds did not initially stop the assassin, the locals did.

For Cristina Hineman, the situation felt urgent: the 17-year-old needed treatment at Planned Parenthood, where she knew she wouldn’t be subjected to humiliating questions, or an unnecessary waiting period, or lectures, or prying about her certainty. But it wasn’t an abortion she sought. It was testosterone.
Planned Parenthood was founded a century ago to promote birth control. Today, its nearly 600 clinics nationwide make it the largest single provider of abortion, contraception, reproductive care, and sex education in the U.S.

The journey from the Ukrainian city of Sumy to the Russian border is short. In about three-quarters of an hour it is possible to arrive at a smashed-up Ukrainian border post and stare over two simple lines of fencing into Russian fields to the right. Except the territory The Sudzha crossing is now 5 miles or so from the current frontline inside Russia’s Kursk oblast. For now at least, it remains very much in Ukrainian hands a full week into the border incursion; on a brief visit what could be heard were the pops of outgoing artillery, not the crumps of incoming shells.

Trust me, bashing Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and the Democrats is what we do here, but there’s another group of losers that need to be burned at the stake. They’re this year’s biggest losers. It might be debatable for some, but the Democratic Party isn’t at the top of my list. Maybe it’s a tie for first, but can we discuss these traitors who claim to be Reagan Republicans or conservative Republicans and then try and justify their support for Kamala Harris?

Only a small number of Americans understand the relationship between the U.S. State Dept (DoS) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). However, as more people understand how these two agencies operate, then people have a much more accurate context for how both agencies are viewed by the rest of the world. Almost every deployed CIA operative has a cover profile within the State Dept. The foreign service missions of the DoS and CIA are so enmeshed there is literally no way to separate the functions of their agencies. [Go back to the Benghazi Attack for an operational reference] CIA/DoS have to be viewed through the prism of connection.

When dealing with the Israel-Arab issue, the woke progressive angle has made a clear choice – Israel only oppresses, and the Arabs are always the victim. Note that woke arguments nearly never use language such as good and evil. But there are specific situations that are labeled clearly evil by nearly all woke progressives. Israel has become a member of this category. Eylon Levy and Douglas Murray explore the aspects of this “psychotic” norm.
No matter how many people Israel saves around the world when there are world disasters,

Iran is ramping up online activity that appears intended to influence the upcoming US election, in one case targeting a presidential campaign with an email phishing attack, Microsoft said Friday.
Iranian actors also have spent recent months creating fake news sites and impersonating activists, laying the groundwork to stoke division and potentially sway American voters this fall, especially in swing states, the technology giant found.
The findings in Microsoft’s newest threat intelligence report show how Iran, which has been active in recent US campaign cycles, is evolving its tactics for another election that’s likely to have global implications.

Earlier today, President Trump gave a pressing conference from Mar-a-Lago in Florida. Unlike the Kamala/Walz heavily controlled and scripted relationship with their allies in media, President Trump and JD Vance will take any/all questions regardless of topic.
President Trump delivered some short remarks then stood in front of the media and took questions from the assembled press pool for over an hour. Forme President Trump proposes debate times with VP Harris
