The media is sorry . . . sort of. After the shocking appearance of President Joe Biden in the presidential debate, the public has turned its attention to the press which has, again, buried a major scandal for years. According to CNN, the reporters at the White House are really, really sorry but explained that it was the “right-wing media” that prompted them to avoid the story. (snip) So, as an embarrassed press struggled to explain the most recent belated disclosure, the reason is the “right-wing press” and the need to counter their narratives. (snip) They were countering conservatives and framing the news.

Some grocery stores in Alabama and Oklahoma now have American Rounds vending machines which allow customers to buy ammo for their guns while getting a cart full of groceries for their families.

One of the locations is a Fresh Value store in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Terry Stanley, COO of the Fresh Value, said, “We’re always looking for ways to give our customers another reason to come visit our stores. Anything we can do to help them make their shopping trips easier,

President Biden’s campaign will no longer feed media outlets questions for future interviews after it was embarrassingly outed for the practice on national television.
“While interview hosts have always been free to ask whatever questions they please, moving forward we will refrain from offering suggested questions,” a source familiar with Biden’s booking operation for media outlets told The Post Saturday.
The source’s comments came mere hours after a Philadelphia radio host revealed on CNN that the Biden campaign supplied her questions before the embattled 81-year-old appeared on her show.

Donald Trump has shared his surprising opinion on what he thinks President Joe Biden should do in the aftermath of his disastrous debate performance last week.
The former president, 78, wrote on his Truth Social website on Saturday that he thinks his competitor, 81, should not listen to the many Democrats who want him to drop out - and should instead stay in the race for the White House.
'Crooked Joe Biden should ignore his many critics and move forward with alacrity and strength with his powerful and far-reaching campaign,' Trump wrote.'He should be sharp, precise and energetic just like he was in The Debate, in selling his policies...'

A train carrying hazardous materials, including ammonia, derailed and caught fire near a rural North Dakota town on Friday, leaving officials puzzled about what caused it.
The 3:45 a.m. derailment impacted 29 cars of a Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) train, sending them off the track in a marshy area surrounded by farmland near the tiny town of Bordulac, Fox News reported.
Both the train’s engineer and conductor escaped without injury, but there is concern about the materials and flames potentially harming the surrounding area and people. The cause of the derailment is unknown at this time.

Axios has reported that the House Democrat leadership is rallying its forces against a Republican bill due for a vote next week.
The bill in question, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act), seeks to mandate proof of U.S. citizenship for voting in federal elections.

A major DC establishment publication says that House Democrats are “bringing out the big guns,” to get illegal aliens to vote in 2024. Joe Biden sat down with Democrat operative George Stephanopoulos for an interview on ABC News on Friday.
The interview with a total dumpster fire.
Stephanopoulos repeatedly asked Biden about his cognitive decline.
“Are you the same man today that you were when you took office three-and-a-half years ago?” Stephanopoulos asked.
“Do you dispute that there have been more lapses, especially in the last several months?” Stephanopoulos asked.
“Can I run the 100 in 10 flat? No. But I’m still in good shape,” Biden said.
Stephanopoulos pressed Biden, “Are you more frail?”
“No,” Biden said.
Stephanopoulos also pointed to several polls showing Trump is beating Joe Biden in key swing states.

Right before midnight on Thursday, July 4th, a Nashville judge named I'Ashea Myles ruled that the Covenant School shooter's manifesto cannot be released to the public. Her ruling is 60 pages of repetitive language and nonsensical misapprehension of law and fact. She denied the release of the murderer’s manifesto on the basis of the canard of an “ongoing” criminal investigation and a new theory — the writings seized as evidence from the murderer are protected from disclosure because the entire collection is copyrighted.
All those claims are nonsense.
The first claim is complete claptrap. The Covenant School mass shooting took place in March 2023, 15 months ago.

I grew up in an Audubon Society family. These were in the days before the Audubons became overtly political, and that organization's main focus was on, you know, birds. We did migrating bird counts in the spring and fall, and nesting bird counts on my folk's Allamakee County land every spring and summer. With this upbringing, it would be surprising if I hadn't developed an interest in birds, and it's an interest I maintain to this day. It's always a pleasant surprise when the legacy media outperforms our expectations and that's happened a couple of times recently. Going into last week's presidential debate, I was almost positive that CNN's moderators would keep their thumbs firmly on the scale in Biden's favor and do everything in their power to undermine Trump. Joe Biden’s attempt to calm the waters following his debate debacle last week has gone horribly wrong with his poll numbers completely collapsing and Democrats abandoning his sinking ship daily.
Biden’s interview with Clinton crony George Stephanopoulos did not fare much better either as he was confused and made multiple delusional remarks throughout.
However, despite countless calls from Democratic donors and elected officials for Biden to leave the race, he and his family remain defiant. His chief enabler and handler, Jill Biden, has proved particularly intractable.

It's been a week since President Biden's disastrous debate performance, and his political fortunes only appear to be growing worse by the day. His poll numbers are dropping. Donald Trump is gloating. And Democrats are in a full-fledged panic about the future, some feeling deceived by the president's handlers and angry that his inner circle appears to be blaming everyone but themselves for last week's debacle.
Now it all boils down to two questions: Will Biden will drop out of the race? And who is in the top position to replace him? The answer to that the second question should be a no-brainer — the vice president, of course.

I’m betting that, as you read this, you already know about Joe Biden’s absolute train-wreck of an interview with George Stephanopoulos. Although Biden was in better shape and more coherent than he was during his disastrous debate with Donald Trump, he still presented as a confused old man and, if you’re someone who believes in truth, not post-modern relativism, a dishonest old man. For those of us who have watched Biden’s decline, this was expected. What wasn’t expected was Stephanopoulos’s desperate attempts to get Joe to acknowledge he’s leaving the campaign and the post-interview talking heads’ savage attacks on Joe. That’s how you know Joe’s White House days are over.

When you think of President Joe Biden these days, who does he remind you of? You might invoke your impression of an elderly relative who is similarly struggling with cognitive issues. The less charitable among us might make a reference to Elmer Fudd or some other frequently befuddled character. But that's not the view that Democratic Congressman Don Beyer of Virginia holds. While introducing Biden at a fundraiser earlier this week, Beyer compared the President to none other than Jesus Christ. This was a case of setting the bar very high, to say the least. But what is it about Joe Biden that reminds Beyer of the Savior so much?

Did the economy create 206,000 jobs last month? That’s what the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Friday. But don’t believe it. Under President Joe Biden, the BLS has been consistently inflating monthly job growth numbers.
It makes great public relations, because the press reports only on the initial estimate, and rarely follows up on the subsequent downgrades. But it does help explain why nobody believes Biden’s – and the mainstream media’s – propaganda about how great the labor market is doing.
Last month, for example, BLS said that the economy created 272,000 jobs, which the media branded as “whopping,”

This interview happened before the Stephanopoulos interview (which went terribly) and Sabato conceded that one good interview is not going to save Biden or his campaign.
The reason these comments should really disturb Democrats is because if there was any kind of silver lining to include here, any single ray of sunshine, Sabato would have pointed it out, but there is no good news for Democrats.

In early World War II, on Nov. 30, 1939, a Soviet-Russian army invaded Finland in a surprise massive attack. The Finns were eventually outnumbered nearly 3 to 1. The population of the Soviet Union in 1940 was 50 times larger than that of Finland's. Finland's former anti-Soviet ally, Nazi Germany, had sold it out under the August 1939 Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, which made Germany and Russia de facto allies.
Finland's other allies, particularly France and Britain, were slow in giving aid. Both were unsure whether Finland had any chance of survival. And they were further confused as to whether their archenemy Germany was friendly or hostile to Finland.

The Iranian regime is rapidly pursuing acquiring nuclear weapons. This breakout must be prevented.
Iran is already supplying terror groups -- Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Houthis -- with ballistic missiles. Presumably to hide behind "plausible deniability," Iran's regime does not seem particularly shy about arming these militias abroad with advanced weaponry. Why wouldn't it equip these groups with nuclear weapons as well? Iran's regime has made no secret of its desire to annihilate Israel ("Death to Israel!") on the way to annihilating the United States ("Death to America!"). The mullahs doubtless just see Israel as standing in the way.

The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) is the center of the silo network that supports the Intelligence Community control over U.S. political outcomes. SSCI Chairman Mark Warner has been the leading organizer of the IC efforts to interfere in USA politics since 2015. Senator Mark Warner was selected by the DC system to represent the IC interests when Donald J Trump became the leading candidate for the 2016 election. Warner was quickly installed to replace Senator Dianne Feinstein on the SSCI immediately following the 2016 election outcome.

Sarah covered this trainwreck of an interview earlier tonight. Joe Biden sat down with former Clinton operative George Stephanopoulos for an exclusive ABC News interview that was aimed at quelling the deafening concerns about the president’s mental health. It did no such thing. The faces of the panel that were to weigh in on this interview say it all. ABC News’ Jon Karl rightly noted that Democrats who watched this disaster are even more worried since Joe doesn’t understand that he’s losing the election.

One deadly myth harmful to the conservative cause is that once the full weight of the establishment pushes a liberal initiative forward, it is futile to resist it.
Such fatalism is false. Plenty of well-advanced leftist initiatives have suffered crushing defeats. It is enough to recall the doomed Equal Rights Amendment, Roe v. Wade, or Common Core. All found their way to the liberal graveyard of lost causes awaiting reincarnation under other acronyms. The Fate of DEI
The latest program to suffer the indignity of premature death is DEI. Diversity,

One California district attorney is determined to ditch the soft-on-crime policies of Democrats in the state and hold brutal murderers accountable.
Orange County (OC) DA Todd Spitzer’s Twitter/X profile says he is “ensuring OC never becomes LA" or San Francisco, and that’s obvious from his new announcement. While San Fran uses taxpayer dollars to buy booze for homeless alcoholics, and a Los Angeles DA sits on a backlog of 15,000 unfiled criminal cases amidst spiking crime, murderers of an elderly grandma in OC could receive the death penalty if convicted.

CLAIM: During an interview with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos, President Joe Biden repeated a false claim that former President Donald Trump told people to “put bleach” in their arms.
VERDICT: FALSE. Trump was talking about experimental ultraviolet (UV) light technology and how it is used as a disinfectant and questioned whether it might be possible to “inject” into the human body.During an interview with Stephanopolous on Friday, Biden claimed Trump was a “congenital liar” and referenced how Trump told people “to put bleach” in their arms in order to “deal with” COVID-19.

Singer-actress Bette Midler, star of Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2, suggested that President Joe Biden arrest Republican members of Congress and allow the FBI to use deadly force in order regain Democrat House majority.
“Now that Joe has total immunity, many are urging him to be GOP ruthless. Here’s a suggestion for implementing his new powers,” Midler wrote in a Friday X post, sharing a screenshot from an opinion piece published by The New Republic. (X) The Ruthless People actress shared a specific section of the article that fantasized about a scenario in which Biden orders the arrests of several Republican members of Congress, which included a scene
