House and Senate Democrat candidates began distancing themselves from President Joe Biden over the weekend after his terrible debate performance.
Many down-ballot Democrat candidates in battleground states or districts will face increased headwinds come November due to the president’s lack of popularity. A post-debate forecast from the Economist gave former President Donald Trump a 73- percent chance of victory in November. Trump leads Biden by six points in the probability of winning the popular vote in November, Nate Silver’s election model forecasted post-debate.

I love it when the Dems start running in circles, screaming and yelling at each other, pointing fingers...."his fault, not my fault"....and confusing their voters, very likely.

These democrats are total weasels. They are right there with him until something bad happens. Then they act as if they have no idea who he is.

imply beating Biden is not our goal. No - we must paint every Dim candidate with Biden's failed policies. We must not LET them think they can sneak off and also run 'against' their failure of a president (lower case). For it our job to surround Trump with like-minded Senators and Congress members so that DJT can MAGA-size the entire federal government and prevent any entrenched judges and bureaucrat opposition.

I love seeing this, but at the same time I'm saddened. Politicians are a lot like Moslems. They are your best friend as long as you can do something for them. The minute you cant or wont, all pretense of loyalty disappears and the knives come out.
The fact that we allow ourselves to be led by people like this doesn't say much for us.

When have they been close to him? When did they boast of all the great work he's done? Trump should be beating biden by sixty points, not six. Good grief!

As at least one political strategist has said, all Republicans should be talking about inflation, crime, terrorism, and our open borders. Talk about these things non stop until the election. Make their opponents deal with the issues, not Trump's legal concerns.

do not let them, tie them to biden completely especially if they have a voting record.
how about this campaign motto: biden is senile, what was your excuse?

No matter what they say on the campaign trail, when it's time to vote, they all toe the party line. So the simplest way to solve that is to NEVER vote for a demonocrat, ever!

"Democrat candidates in battleground states or districts will face increased headwinds"
I'm not sure there will be headwinds. I would say they will be becalmed, with a lack of energy and money AND a badly broken and untrusted media propaganda apparatus.
Meanwhile Trump's energy and funding continues to build with massive rallies and historic donations. His legal problems are falling apart and any sentence from his conviction is likely to be suspended for review and possible reversal for judicial misconduct and malpractice.
It will be interesting to see what the dems make of their convention in August. If they have an evening acceptance speech, Biden will have sundowned and the farce will continue. There will be no energy to kick off the last months of the campaign, not that Biden could have anyway. It's going to be a catastrophe, probably a convention where there is not much believable to say to recommend the candidate.
