There’s no one else quite like Donald Trump.
What other candidate in American history would start polling his audience, live, as Trump did this weekend in Philadelphia, on what his debate strategy against President Biden should be?
“How should I handle him? Should I be tough and nasty?” Trump said, then took on a comically tough-guy voice.
“Should I be tough and nasty and just say ‘you’re the worst president in history’?”
The crowd roared.
“Or should I be nice and calm . . .”
Boos rained down.
“. . . and let him speak?”
Let no one accuse The Post of taking Trump literally but not figuratively. We know it was a bit.

President Biden’s latest student loan bailout was blocked Monday by federal judges in Kansas and Missouri following a lawsuit from several Republican-led states.
The nationwide preliminary injunctions issued by US District Judges Daniel Crabtree in Kansas and John Ross in Missouri – both appointees of former President Barack Obama – prevent the Biden administration from canceling any more federal student debt for borrowers enrolled in the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) plan.
The 81-year-old president’s Education Department will also be barred from implementing new SAVE plan provisions while the litigation plays out.
The judges did not call for debt relief already handed out to be clawed back.

The so-called “conspiracy theorists” have put together an impressive winning streak and they’ve once again been proven right, this time about illegal aliens voting in the 2024 election.
Republicans are very concerned about the impact of President Joe Biden’s “newcomers” on the upcoming election, the most critical in the nation’s history, and House Republicans have introduced an “election integrity” bill to require that proof of citizenship be required to register to vote.
But despite denials and ridicule over GOP concerns that illegal aliens could vote, the truth is that nearly every state provides voter registration forms to non-citizens without proof of citizenship, according to the New York Post.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) may often give the appearance of someone who’s off their meds but she’s just bat guano crazy, especially when it comes to former President Donald J. Trump.
The octogenarian Democrat has been even more delusional than she normally is as of late with it looking increasingly likely that Trump will be able to overcome her party’s lawfare and return to the White House, a possibility that has “Auntie Maxine” spewing conspiracy theories on MSNBC.
Already having insisted that right-wingers are “training up in the hills” for civil war over the election results

Despite being reportedly worth upwards of $10 million, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden have refinanced their Delaware home multiple times over the last few years.
The constant refinancing has raised questions about the fast cash provided by the renegotiated loans on the Delaware properties which the Daily Mail noted occurred “an astonishing 35 times.”
Since 1975, the Bidens have lived in two houses in Delaware with their first property in Wilmington being sold in the 1990s. The couple reportedly secured a “new mortgage or credit deal on both homes every 17 months,” according to the outlet.

On Monday’s broadcast of “CNN News Central,” CNN Senior Political Commentator Van Jones stated that the targeting of a Los Angeles synagogue was antisemitism and stated that showing up in a Jewish neighborhood “wearing a keffiyeh, you show up there with your face covered, you show up there chanting, river to the sea. That would be just like a white person running up with a Confederate flag in Harlem.”
Jones said, “Well, look, this is unacceptable. As a father who’s actually trying to raise my children in Los Angeles, I want to just applaud Mayor Bass, Gov. Newsom (D), and President Biden for speaking up about this.

A long-standing San Francisco McDonald’s franchise has closed down after 30 years because of California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s new $20 minimum wage law, the owner said.
The Stonestown Galleria McDonald’s became a casualty of the economy on Sunday; franchise owner Scott Rodrick told ABC7 that it was a “gut-wrenching day” for him and his family.
Rodrick said the closure was related to being unable to negotiate reasonable rent with the building’s landlord, taxes, and the state’s $20 fast food minimum wage that went into effect on April 1.
The previous minimum wage for California fast food workers was $15, more than twice the $7.25 federal minimum wage.

MSNBC host Joy Reid said Monday on “The ReidOut” that rich people were “kissing Trump’s ring” because they wanted tax cuts and more deregulation.
Reid said, “America’s billionaires, oil, gas, tech, media, and otherwise are busy tripping over themselves and stampeding over each other to get in front of Donald Trump and hand him millions in campaign donations so he can get back into the White House. And in exchange for the bribes he’s soliciting door to door, hat in hand, he’s offering to let them operate with less regulation, including drilling on public lands. That’s one of two things you need to understand about the upcoming election.

On Thursday morning, a temporary election worker, Walter Ringfield, allegedly went into the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center (MCTEC) and stole a security fob and keys.
The theft was discovered when election workers conducted a daily inventory. Surveillance footage appears to show Ringfield taking items from a desk around 5pm on Thursday evening.
According to KTAR News:
Ringfield was seen on surveillance camera footage taking the missing item from a desk around 5 p.m. Thursday, according to court documents.
“On the desk there was a red scrunchy wrist lanyard with a security fob and keys attached,” the probable cause statement for Ringfield’s arrest says. “Walter stops at the desk,

I know I've shared this before, but the Number One lesson I learned on my very first day of law school was: "Don't pi** off the judge." It's axiomatic — you do yourself zero favors by aggravating the person who holds your fate in their hands. You can be a zealous advocate for your client while still being respectful of the person in the black robe with the gavel who's ultimately going to rule on whatever issue you're arguing before them.
Apparently, Special Counsel Jack Smith's prosecution team forgot that rule while arguing before Judge Aileen Cannon in Monday afternoon's hearing in the classified documents case

Last week, TikTok permanently banned the sports apparel company XX-XY Athletics from advertising on its site after it defended women's sports in one of its promotions.
“It’s not nice to further a lie, it’s not mean to believe in women’s equality, we deserve our own sports, privacy, fairness, safety—we deserve a chance to compete and win,” the ad states in part. [Tweet, video]
"I think it’s really compassionate towards women and girls. And being compassionate towards women and girls is not being anti-trans and somehow that’s how it’s being positioned in the world today," CEO of XX-XY, Jennifer Sey, told NBC 24.

Once again, police made arrests at a golf tournament, but this time, world number-one golfer Scottie Scheffler was just a bystander. Instead, authorities arrested protesters who disrupted the PGA Tour's Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn., on Sunday.
As Scheffler, Tom Kim, and Akshay Bhatia approached the green on the 18th hole in the final grouping of regulation play, six protesters — including the requisite chick with a buzzcut — ran out onto the green from multiple directions. Some wore t-shirts emblazoned with "NO GOLF ON A DEAD PLANET" and set off red and white smoke bombs as they descended onto the green.
