North Carolina parents have slammed a charter school for outing their nonbinary six-year-old twins after discovering an online hate campaign.
Mortellus, 42, who did not want to reveal their full identity, said they did not think there was any issue when they first toured the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy in Forest City, North Carolina, with their spouse Joe.
During the visit, Mortellus - who is transgender and nonbinary - inquired if there were any gender-neutral bathrooms. The pair told staff their children are nonbinary, and one is gender-fluid.

Peter Alexander had a banner day while guest-hosting NBC’s Meet the Depressed. First, he recited a series of leftwing tropes on crime and immigration while deflecting criticism away from the Biden Administration’s handling of these pressing issues. Afterwards, he fretted that voters are insufficiently aware of President Biden’s achievements over these four years.
Watch as Alexander emotes concern over the level of ignorance he’s witnessed during the course of his travels across the fruited plain:

With Thursday's presidential debate looming, the Biden campaign has settled on a strategy: Attempt to exceed expectations.
Oddly enough, that doesn't have anything to do with policy. Instead, the president's handlers are setting the stage for an "energized" Biden who can put down all the talk about his ongoing struggle with senility. More oddly, they seem rather confident he can pull it off. They're playing with fire, though. (X Video) I do not doubt that there's a plan in place to load Biden up with more amphetamines than a Los Angeles drug dealer.

Melania Trump is unlikely to move into the White House if Donald wins another term in November, analysts say.
Those close to the former first lady believe she will likely split her time between Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, and New York City – especially with Barron, 18, tipped to attend New York University.
Melania would instead only travel to Washington, D.C. for ceremonial responsibilities like state dinners and other special events. The decision not to live with in Washington is an unprecedented move for a first lady and a break in two-and-a-half centuries of tradition.

On Sunday's "This Week," Martha Raddatz had a panel discussion with three "experts" on the upcoming presidential debate. The panel included Frank Luntz, and what he offered up made little sense.
Luntz claims that the last two presidential campaigns, beginning with Trump versus Clinton in 2016 and then Trump versus Biden in 2020, were the beginning of the end of democracy. It seems everything in politics is “the end of democracy.” Luntz claimed that personal invectives and insults are too debasing and, apparently, a sign of the end of democracy. Luntz is a pollster, not a historian. Maybe he’s unaware of the long history of politicians insulting each other.

MSNBC host Joy Reid said Monday on “The ReidOut” that rich people were “kissing Trump’s ring” because they wanted tax cuts and more deregulation.
Reid said, “America’s billionaires, oil, gas, tech, media, and otherwise are busy tripping over themselves and stampeding over each other to get in front of Donald Trump and hand him millions in campaign donations so he can get back into the White House. And in exchange for the bribes he’s soliciting door to door, hat in hand, he’s offering to let them operate with less regulation, including drilling on public lands. That’s one of two things you need to understand about the upcoming election.

Imagine…
Imagine if the KKK went into South Central Los Angeles and tried to block parishioners from going into the First A.M.E. Church and then got violent. How fast would the police be there to arrest the agitators? How long would it be before cities across the nation were protesting and marching to demand police protection and the arrest of all KKK supporters? How many demonstrations would happen nationwide to empower (justifiably) black churches and demand their protection?
In Los Angeles, we don’t need to imagine it, for on Sunday afternoon, it happened. But there haven’t been loud voices protesting nationwide; the LAPD was ordered to stand down rather than respond forcibly,

Tyler Cherry, the newly appointed White House communications official, has apologized for some of his past tweets, which included a post that compared police to “slave patrols.”
Tyler Cherry found himself in the center of a social media firestorm over the last week when past posts resurfaced that featured him espousing extremist rhetoric. It came after he had been promoted to Associate Communications Director in the Biden administration. Per Newsweek:
The controversy erupted shortly after Politico reported Cherry’s promotion from his previous role as communications director at the Interior Department.

Biden DOJ official Kristen Clarke was hit with a DOJ criminal referral, ethics complaints, and bar complaints for lying under oath about a previous arrest which was expunged from her record.
Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Kristen Clarke in 2021 falsely testified to the Senate that she had never been arrested.
Clarke was previously arrested for attacking her then-husband with a knife and slicing his finger to the bone, according to court documents obtained by The Daily Signal.
Earlier this year Clarke admitted she lied during her Senate confirmation hearing.

A previously censored paper from The Lancet has now undergone peer review and is available online.
The study, titled “A Systematic Review of Autopsy Findings in Deaths After COVID-19 Vaccination,” analyzed 325 autopsy cases and found that a staggering 73.9% of deaths were either directly due to or significantly contributed to by the COVID-19 vaccination.
The paper’s lead author, Dr. Nicolas Hulscher, faced significant opposition in bringing these findings to light. After initially being downloaded over 100,000 times, The Lancet removed the paper within 24 hours, according to Dr. William Makis.

No wonder why the Biden team departed so early to Camp David for debate preparation. The White House summoned all the top Democratic strategists and advisers to ready the president as best they could against former President Donald Trump. Before they could review any of their attack lines or soundbites touting this administration's little legislative record, they need to ensure Biden can stand for at least 90 minutes. That’s not a good thing for a president we’ve been told is vivacious, a night owl, and sharp as a tack: (X) Some in the media have already tried to make the point that these debates are unfair to Biden.

State legislators and law enforcement are reinstating dormant laws that criminalize mask-wearing to penalize pro-Palestinian protesters who conceal their faces, raising concerns among covid-cautious Americans.
Republican lawmakers in North Carolina are poised to overturn Gov. Roy Cooper’s (D) recent veto of legislation to criminalize masking. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) said earlier this month she supports legislative efforts to ban masks on the subway, citing an incident where masked protesters on a train shouted, “Raise your hands if you’re a Zionist. This is your chance to get out.” Student protesters in Ohio, Texas and Florida have been threatened with arrest for covering their faces.
