Anticipation over selection over who President Trump will select as his running-mate reached fever pitch over the weekend as the 45th President proclaimed just before a rally in Philadelphia he had already made the pick in his mind. Now, reports have emerged that the list of contenders for the coveted number two spot has narrowed. NewsNation has learned Trump has finalized his list to three candidates: North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, and Florida Senator Marco Rubio. CNN and NBC have also revealed the same three names are finalists on Trump’s list. After handily defeating five other Republicans, she is now comfortably positioned to win with a 13-point GOP advantage in November. Victory came after a rocky year of embarrassing scandals for the 37-year-old grandma.
Judge Cannon on Tuesday held a final day of hearings on Jack Smith’s classified documents case against President Trump.
President Trump’s lawyers filed a flurry of motions to dismiss Jack Smith’s case. Judge Cannon scheduled an expanded hearing to allow both sides to present their cases.
Cannon did not issue any rulings after Tuesday’s hearing concluded.
One of Jack Smith’s prosecutors threw a tantrum and accused Trump’s attorneys of “hijacking” the hearing.
New Yorkers headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their votes in primary elections for members of Congress, the state Assembly and state Senate.
Polls statewide closed at 9 p.m.
The big race to watch is in the 16th Congressional District covering parts of the Bronx and Westchester, where Westchester County Executive George Latimer looks to unseat embattled far-left Rep. Jamaal Bowman.

A tiny baby girl died after being left in the back of a hot car just two months after her adoptive parents took her home as a newborn.
Diana Sofia De Los Santos was found unresponsive in the SUV outside her parents' home in Santee, San Diego, about 12.20am on June 13.
She had been left in the car for several hours in 63F weather when a family member found her and called 911. The baby girl was rushed to hospital but did not survive.
San Diego County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating how Diana was forgotten in the car and who left her there. No charges have been filed.

Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, still had the marks Jocelyn left on him when he was arrested, Assistant District Attorney Megan Long said in a Harris County court.
Rangel Martinez’s alleged accomplice, Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, told cops he tried to convince Rangel Martinez to stop but he allegedly refused and climbed on top of the girl and strangled her, according to Long.

Senator Elizabeth Warren appeared on ABC News this weekend and tried to defend Biden over the border crisis saying that he is doing everything he can. She then tried to blame Republicans in congress for not giving Biden everything he wanted in the so-called border bill.

To recap, the child, Jocelyn Nungaray, was found strangled to death in a creek in Houston, Texas. Two illegal aliens from Venezuela were arrested for her death. They are Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26. Pena Ramos had his bail set at $10 million. The two illegals reportedly lured the girl under a bridge and assaulted her for hours before she was killed, which Townhall covered.
