With Thursday's presidential debate looming, the Biden campaign has settled on a strategy: Attempt to exceed expectations. Oddly enough, that doesn't have anything to do with policy. Instead, the president's handlers are setting the stage for an "energized" Biden who can put down all the talk about his ongoing struggle with senility. More oddly, they seem rather confident he can pull it off. They're playing with fire, though. (X Video) I do not doubt that there's a plan in place to load Biden up with more amphetamines than a Los Angeles drug dealer.

Washington— Some of the 51 “Spies Who Lie” were active CIA contractors when they claimed files from first son Hunter Biden’s laptop had “the classic earmarks” of Russian disinformation ahead of the 2020 election — a fact that was uneasily noted inside the agency, records acquired by The Post show.
Former CIA acting director Michael Morell, who previously told Congress he organized the Oct. 19, 2020, letter to give Joe Biden a “talking point” ahead of a debate against then-President Donald Trump, was under contract with the CIA at the time, the agency told Congress.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) will force a vote to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in inherent contempt of Congress in a rarely used maneuver which she says will require a House vote Friday.
Luna says Garland forced her hand after he brushed aside a previous contempt vote by the House after President Joe Biden’s loyal lieutenant refused to surrender evidence Republicans say would reveal Biden’s lack of fitness for office. “For Congress to legislate effectively, we must have access to the information that will enable us to make informed decisions,” Luna wrote in a letter to her colleagues Monday.

The Colorado congresswoman switched from her third district, where she barely etched out victory in 2022, to the the more reliably Republican fourth district after Rep. Ken Buck retired.
After handily defeating five other Republicans, she is now comfortably positioned to win with a 13-point GOP advantage in November. Victory came after a rocky year of embarrassing scandals for the 37-year-old grandma.
Judge Cannon on Tuesday held a final day of hearings on Jack Smith’s classified documents case against President Trump.
President Trump’s lawyers filed a flurry of motions to dismiss Jack Smith’s case. Judge Cannon scheduled an expanded hearing to allow both sides to present their cases.
Cannon did not issue any rulings after Tuesday’s hearing concluded.
One of Jack Smith’s prosecutors threw a tantrum and accused Trump’s attorneys of “hijacking” the hearing.
New Yorkers headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their votes in primary elections for members of Congress, the state Assembly and state Senate.
Polls statewide closed at 9 p.m.
The big race to watch is in the 16th Congressional District covering parts of the Bronx and Westchester, where Westchester County Executive George Latimer looks to unseat embattled far-left Rep. Jamaal Bowman.

A tiny baby girl died after being left in the back of a hot car just two months after her adoptive parents took her home as a newborn.
Diana Sofia De Los Santos was found unresponsive in the SUV outside her parents' home in Santee, San Diego, about 12.20am on June 13.
She had been left in the car for several hours in 63F weather when a family member found her and called 911. The baby girl was rushed to hospital but did not survive.
San Diego County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating how Diana was forgotten in the car and who left her there. No charges have been filed.

HOUSTON, Texas — Little Jocelyn Nungaray fought back against her attackers after she was lured under a Houston bridge and assaulted for two hours — leaving scratch and bite marks on one of the illegal migrants who is accused of killing her, prosecutors revealed Tuesday.
Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, still had the marks Jocelyn left on him when he was arrested, Assistant District Attorney Megan Long said in a Harris County court.
Rangel Martinez’s alleged accomplice, Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, told cops he tried to convince Rangel Martinez to stop but he allegedly refused and climbed on top of the girl and strangled her, according to Long.

Senator Elizabeth Warren appeared on ABC News this weekend and tried to defend Biden over the border crisis saying that he is doing everything he can. She then tried to blame Republicans in congress for not giving Biden everything he wanted in the so-called border bill.
Even left wing journo Martha Raddatz wasn’t buying it, pointing out that Trump kept the border more secure with less resources.

To recap, the child, Jocelyn Nungaray, was found strangled to death in a creek in Houston, Texas. Two illegal aliens from Venezuela were arrested for her death. They are Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26. Pena Ramos had his bail set at $10 million. The two illegals reportedly lured the girl under a bridge and assaulted her for hours before she was killed, which Townhall covered.
