Abortion giant Planned Parenthood announced it is spending $40 million to prop up 81-year-old President Joe Biden and Democrats in key congressional races ahead of November, The Hill reported.
The organization, which was founded by an infamous racist with ties to the eugenics movement, made the announcement on Monday to coincide with the second anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision. The Dobbs decision overturned the court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision — which had invented a constitutional right to abortion for 50 years — and returned the issue of abortion to individual states.

The Washington Post ran a lengthy article last week bemoaning the fact that AI (artificial intelligence) is sucking up so much power that it’s already straining the nation’s electric grid and is bad for the environment. Seriously? So, how will the grid be able to handle the millions of electric cars environmentalists want to force on the road? The answer might shock you.
The Post reports that:
“As the tech giants compete in a global AI arms race, a frenzy of data center construction is sweeping the country. Some computing campuses require as much energy as a modest-sized city, turning

Democratic senator Sheldon Whitehouse (R.I.) is sponsoring legislation to tackle so-called shrinkflation, saying that corporations "prey on consumers" by stealthily shrinking the quantity of snacks, toilet paper, and other consumer products to pad their bottom line. Whitehouse also holds hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stock in those same corporations, according to a review of his portfolio.
In announcing his sponsorship of the Shrinkflation Prevention Act, Whitehouse cited a report from Senate Democrats that shames several alleged practitioners of shrinkflation, (snip) Whitehouse and his wife own between $303,000 and $910,000 in shares of the firms identified in the Senate report,

Sixteen Nobel Prize-winning economists — all unabashed liberals — have unleashed a partisan attack against Donald Trump on the eve of the first presidential debate.
In a letter released Wednesday, the economists claim that former President Donald Trump could stoke inflation if he wins the presidency in November and implements his economic plans. It’s highly likely that President Joe Biden or even the debate moderators will “Many Americans are concerned about inflation, which has come down remarkably fastcite the letter during Thursday night’s debate.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Source” that people did not actually believe President Joe Biden would be on cocaine and any reference to it is in “jest.”
Johnson said, “I don’t have no personal animus against Joe Biden. Of course, I respect the office and I’ve just acknowledged what everyone sees. We can’t help how we age. Everybody ages differently at a different pace.”
Host Kaitlan Collins said, “Some of the rhetoric is out of line where when people from Trump’s team are suggesting that, and Trump himself, that Biden is going to be on cocaine when he is on the debate stage

Pope Francis has denounced the arrogance of those who seek dominion over nature, which leads to the degradation of the environment. (snip) To claim the right to possess and dominate nature “represents a form of idolatry,” Francis declares, “a Promethean version of man who, intoxicated by his technocratic power, arrogantly places the earth in a ‘dis-graced’ condition, deprived of God’s grace.” (snip) This past April, Pope Francis told CBS News that climate change deniers are “stupid” to refute compelling evidence of a climate emergency.
“Some people are stupid (necios), and stupid even if you show them research, they don’t believe it,” the pontiff told CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell

MSNBC host Joy Reid said Wednesday on “The ReidOut” that it is “deeply offensive” that “felon” former President Donald Trump gets to stand next to President Joe Biden during the debate.
Reid said. “Mary Trump’s book, the thing that comes through is the word that hurts him most is fail. Thing they were not allowed to be was failures in that family. He’s sensitive to failure and not being loved. He’s very needy. It does seem there are key words Biden could use. Fail is one, felon feels like a good one. Is that what the Biden team is drilling him on to get these words in to bug him?”

There have been several cases of late where defendants are illegal aliens charged with serious felonies. Too many. The murder of Laken Riley sparked national outrage when we learned that the suspect was admitted into the country via Joe Biden's lax/nonexistent immigration policies.
Laken Riley was murdered and the suspect, Jose Ibarra, was indicted. Becca Lower reported:
The grand jury indicted Jose Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuela national, who had entered the country illegally in September 2022 in El Paso, Texas. He faces charges of malice murder and felony murder in connection with Riley’s death.
Riley was found deceased on Augusta University’s campus

The Louisville police chief responsible for the botched case against world No 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler was forced to resign this week.
Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel handed in her notice after being suspended over the mishandling of a sexual harassment claim about an officer.
That plunged the department into yet more turmoil, weeks after Louisville cops came under fire over their handling of Scheffler's case. Gwinn-Villaroel vowed to 'to respect the legal process' and 'let it play out' after Scheffler was shockingly arrested at the PGA Championship in May.
The golfer was taken to jail and charged with a felony - second-degree assault of a police officer -

Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has her sights set on your children — for more climate change messaging.
Hillary Clinton is putting pressure on Hollywood studios to develop movies and TV shows that dramatize how climate change is putting kids in danger. “There’s now research on this topic, but most people are not aware at all,” Clinton said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “Our hope is that we can help people make the connections between children’s mental and physical health and the impact of climate change.”

We have our hand on the Bible swearing we are not making this story up.
A gang of 16 Nobel prize-winning economists signed a letter yesterday endorsing Joe Biden for president because: “There is rightly a worry that Donald Trump will reignite inflation with his fiscally irresponsible budgets.”
But then our colleague, Scott Bessent, noticed something strange and ironic about the signatories: 13 of these economists signed a highly-publicized open letter three years ago assuring Americans that Biden’s “Build Back Better” spending spree would “ease longer-term inflationary pressures.”

A mom has claimed she was booted off a United Airlines flight with her distressed 16-month-old son over using the wrong pronoun for a flight attendant.
Jenna Longoria was expecting to fly to Austin from San Francisco on Wednesday with her mom and son when United stopped them from traveling.
She alleges she was denied boarding after an 'accidental' mix-up when addressing a United staff member, who she says refused to accept her apology.
The frantic mom also alleged the flight had taken off with her luggage containing her and her mom's medication still on board, leaving at risk of becoming 'very sick' while stranded.
