The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office condemned Sean “Diddy” Combs’ shocking surveillance video, in which the music mogul is seen assaulting ex Cassie Ventura — but is unable to file charges. The office of district attorney George Gascón explained in a lengthy statement released via Instagram Friday why their hands are tied due to the statute of limitations. “We are aware of the video that has been circulating online allegedly depicting Sean Combs assaulting a young woman in Los Angeles,” the statement began. “We find the images extremely disturbing and difficult to watch.”

Comments:

If Diddy was a pro-life activist - - he's be in solitary for the rest of his life.

Two issues that are not stopping Prosecutors in other cities from demanding a pound of flesh for MUCH lesser offenses....NDA/Hush money deal, and Statute of Limitations. "If you are rich and famous they will LET you do anything, Grab them by the hair, drag them thought the hallway, beat them kick them...they will LET you do anything"

IMO, Gascon wouldn't file charges if the assault happened last week. A lesson for women: be a lot more discerning in your choice of men. You'd be better off not being influenced by his fame or wealth; many of these guys are entitled....or so they think. Don't choose glitz over substance; better to wait for the one who HAS substance.

The reason Diddy's Empire was raided is because the FBI/local authorities wanted to know what compromising information Diddy had on 'important' people. Once the FBI found what they wanted, they warned Diddy to cease & desist - or else...

Bingo, poster seven. This has nothing to do with Diddy's color. He's one of them and obviously has the goods on the other crooks in power who are destroying our way of life.

The once-thriving Manhattan business district is now a virtual wasteland littered with empty storefronts — with locals blaming spiking crime and the Big Apple’s disastrous post-pandemic retail real estate market. “Big Box” retailers — including Lowes, Bed Bath & Beyond and Staples — have fled in the last few years, leaving one of the city’s shopping meccas peppered with vacant retail space. Businesses who are trying to hang on have been plagued by rampant shoplifting and thefts, according to workers and city crime statistics.

Harvard is learning an ancient lesson: You reap what you sow. On Thursday, the college announced that applications dropped 5% from last year. This, after early-admission applications fell 17%, to a four-year low. And it’s all a natural, rational response to the series of scandals that exposed Harvard’s leaders as prioritizing woke ideology over excellence, free speech and student safety. China had a good run, but it is now over. You know it’s over when 65 million homes — one-fifth of the nation’s total — lie vacant and real-estate prices have collapsed to 2018 levels. Tens of millions of Chinese plunked down their life savings for an apartment in a high-rise that they will never live in because the builder went bankrupt, leaving the building an uninhabitable empty shell. [SNIP] Yet, in communism’s latest triumph of ideology over experience, Xi is once again driving the Chinese people down the socialist road to ruin.

'What do you think he would have done on January 6 if black Americans had stormed the Capitol?' Biden asked - as members of the crowd collectively gasped. The president then added, 'No, I'm serious. What do you think? I can only imagine,' as Trump has long promised to pardon those involved in the 2021 Capitol attack if he's elected to a second term in November.

The president didn't use Trump or the GOP's name as he addressed graduating seniors from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, but it was clear who he was talking about as he brought up January 6 amid their commencement ceremony. 'Insurrectionists who stormed the capitol with Confederate flags are called patriots by some,' Biden told the seniors, graduating from the historically black, all-male institution. 'Not in my house.' Trump often refers to his supporters who ramsacked the Capitol by that term. 'Black police officers, black veterans, protecting the Capitol were called another word as you recall,' Biden continued. The president added that 'extremists close the doors of opportunity.'
