Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene stunned House lawmakers Friday by filing a motion to vacate against Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), a source told The Post. Greene (R-Ga.) made the move as the House finalized passage of a partial government spending bill to avert a looming midnight shutdown — and fewer than six months after House Republicans ousted Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) for passing an earlier federal funding measure. Greene, 49, told reporters on the steps of the US Capitol following the vote that the latest funding bill was “a complete betrayal of all of our values” but declining to say whether she had “a timeline”

Enough! Our nation is in real trouble and you guys are acting like a bunch old middle-schoolers. Figure out a way to work together and worry about defeating the real enemy.

I posted on another thread about the fact that all of our electeds in the District of Corruption are compromised and would not have been placed there if they were not broken.
Show me where I am wrong.
Our entire government, local and federal is broken beyond repair.

Poster #6, another spineless or blackmailable so called Republican has just announce he's resigning next month. This is what Hunter Biden and his lawyer are counting on, they know these people are leaving and soon the GDrats will be in charge and all investigations into the Biden Crime Family will stop.

# 4: I think 'working together got us into this mess. The Democrat's real enemy is us - normal, law abiding, patriotic, USA loving, working, taxpaying, people. Did I miss any?

Those who think this will result in a better speaker (the promise they made last time), or no speaker, are sadly unaware of what's going on. Remember when Buck announced his departure and said others would follow? That's going to put Jeffries in as speaker. And that could have a significant consequence on the presidential election if Biden or Trump fail to win 270 electoral votes....

The voters gave the House to the Republicans 15 months ago and their only accomplishment is that they have demonstrated that they cannot govern.
The Dems are having a field day over the revolving door in the Speaker's office.

There are only three people in Washington that I trust, due to their consistency and integrity.
One of them is Rep. Clay Higgins, who happens to be standing with Mike Johnson.

Her and Matt need to run off together and run far. Right they need to find a way to keep Trump out of jail and let him handle the rest. She reminds me of Ann Coulter, someone I have a hard time tolerating

What good wilt that do? Getting rid of McCarthy started this whole debacle. We have just 8 months until the election. The Republicans need to avoid committing suicide unti then.

The setup -
After Mike Gallagher from Wisconsin resigns on April 19th, the pubbies will only have a one-seat majority. Thanks to Rep. Greene's motion to vacate, the pubbies vote to remove Johnson as House Speaker. A peeo'd Johnson resigns, and voila, the House dims find themselves in the majority. The pubbies lose control of all committees. Pencil Neck and/or humpty dumpty Jerry Nadler take over the House Judiciary Committee. Dim leftist Hakeem Jeffries from NY takes over the Speakership. Investigation and impeachment proceedings involving biden the cheater, hunter, and Mayorkas disappear shortly thereafter. But Trump wins the November Presidental Election. However, after pretending there was massive pubbie-caused election fraud while also claiming Trump cannot be sworn in due to his legal problems, Obie and his congressional thugs then go to work to block the election certification vote in January 2025. And biden the cheater continues to sit at the Resolute Desk.

MTG is right to be disappointed. A person who continually cites his deep religious faith and stands on that to do the wrong thing is not to be trusted. Al Sharpton, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Jesse Jackson and Mike Pence have that same affliction.

MTG files motion to vacate House Speaker. Would that really help? Washington is controlled by Uniparty and will make sure the Speakership stays empty unless they get one of their people in.

You can't make America great again if you squander a fleeting House majority and allow democrats to gain or keep control of either house of Congress, much less both. America was not made great in the first place by single faction rule within a single party. If we truly are, as is repeatedly posted here, "broken beyond repair," the problem is with the people, including those who play the RINO card as frequently, petulantly, and effectively as the other side plays the race card. Some of our self-anointed Congressional "Puritans" are as ugly and destructive as the demonic-looking illegal alien invader in the news this week, pushing home invasion and occupation on his fellow illegal alien invaders. Lose Congress and even if Trump is elected president and sworn into office for a second term, he would most certainly be impeached and removed, something the dreaded RINOs twice prevented during Trump's term in office.

I can understand the anger of 112 Republicans who voted against this monstrous bill in the middle of the night 2 a.m. for God's sake! 112 pages I understand. All of it Pork! MTG is just expressing the emotion of the rest who felt betrayed. Hopefully Mike Johnson can make peace with the majority who felt he betrayed them/us by not giving one penny for the protection of our Southern Border with Mexico! How do you do that? Give money to kill babies but not one dime to protect Americans from dying from drugs coming across the border??? What happened to Mike Johnson to crave to the demonrats?

We've been suspicious and watchful --since day and night 1, of this unknown quantity, this 'man of God' ...
installed in secret, behind closed doors, after midnight, w/o our knowledge--like a broken plumbing fixture--
for 1 sole purpose: get the money /pass the bill! then we throw you to the wolves like the rest of the GOP
stooges who grabbed the pursestrings from us! this was a heist ; with a holy roller at the helm. like Judas.
isn't there an American saying: ' religion is the last refuge of a scoundrel" ? we fear he has always been part of
the problem, in ways different from K. McC., Barr and that ilk. they have great talent and skill, but lack that
'moral compass' , and so become compromised PDQ. w/ this cipher /backbencher, it was easy to hide his lack
of talent and skill, his craven cowardice, incompetence, and the facts of his own false-heartedness from the
voters. Clearly, WTP made ourselves known, early and often. So, he faked promises, lies, photo ops, before the
nazi pelousy freeze-out of all the gop no voters in the conference... until it was too late....
for us...but not for the snitch pelousy black or blue goon squads.
However, it is likewise not too late for God...just in time for the Passion of the true Christians being
dispossessed, denied our natural laws and rights , jailed and ignored at Easter, with the assistance of this
fraudulent speaker.
WTP must forthrightly get the Chair vacated, until a True servant of God and His people is found.
The Resurrection awaits.
